Perfect Ending to a Perfect Series
Finishing the extortion and racketeering case in Minnow, Pa FBI Agent Lex Murdock is a little restless. His three team members have all found their lady loves while investigating this multi-town criminal ring. Lex is about to make it four when he encounters the lovely sweet Brantlee Simmons. She is the accountant for the county and has made some criminal discoveries recently. It seems that several people are embezzling from the county using bogus invoices. Brantlee knows that Lex is one of the FBI guys investigating crime in Minnow so she boldly takes her documents to him. He is intrigued with her detailed information and with Brantlee. I love how they cautiously get to know each other. I love how together they involve her wonderful four-year-old son Anthony. They have a wonderful new romance that makes my heart sigh…UNTIL…Her evil abusive ex-husband Dave drops in unannounced and starts to rage on her then he actually hits her. Luckily Lex sees this and is able to intercede on her behalf. This is not the last drama we get from this monster. This is a quick read that will bring a smile to your face. Lex is Book 4 a of the FBI Protectors books by Elizabeth Lennox and it wraps up the series that features FBI Special Agents Maddox, Slater, Bart and Lex. These books have offered a romantic and entertaining view of alpha protectors and the women they've fallen in love with in the course of carrying out their duties as law officers.

Bantlee Hensor appeared in front of Lex and dropped in his lap files that outlined criminal financial activities with detailed explanations and backup proof. Then she walked away. He was immediately mesmerized by her and not about to be done with her. It turned out she needed him to protect her from an abusive ex-husband who was a constant threat to her and her 4 year old son. For Brantlee, learning to trust again was worth the effort.

Lex is the final book in the FBI Protector series and like the first three it grabs you and pulls you right in. You’re going to love it and want to read it in one setting! Agent Lex Murdock has watched every member of his team fall for someone in Minnow PA where they are following up on a racketeering case. He meets Brantlee Henson the county accountant who has given them some invoices she found that were sketchy. Along with the racketeering they’ve uncovered an embezzlement case and thanks to her they now have more evidence. Brantlee and Lex have a chemistry when they are together, being a divorced mom of a 4 year old and in an abusive relationship it makes her leery to get close but she really likes Lex! Enter her nasty ex and watch things get interesting!

Minnow, PA if finally a safe place it once was, thanks to the FBI agents getting rid of the racketeering scheme that was going on. Brantlee was giving detail paperwork to Lex to wrap the investigation. Lex was very interested in getting to know Brantlee and her son, Anthony (who is a cute little boy), but there is a horrible x-husband who don't want Brantlee to have a life. You will find a hitman with knives and pistol silencer with a picture of the person to kill.....have to read the story to find out more, but through it all Lex was there for Brantlee and they have there HEA......Overall a good read.

Brantlee and her son were just what Lex needed. She was instrumental in unearthing wrongdoing in her town, and found the perfect person to go to with her evidence. What she didn’t expect was to find the handsome and sexy Lex. Her ex has left her alone with her son and romance has taken a back seat. When danger is expected around her, Lex had to keep her and her son safe.

I enjoyed this story. Lex was the last of the 4 friends to find his HEA and it was worth the wait. I loved how they slowly got to know each other and build on their relationship. When Maddox had to lecture them at the end, I couldn’t stop laughing at their goofiness.

Great ending to the series.

I love this series and was delighted that Lex has finally got his story. Lex meets Brantlee and is instantly drawn to her but won’t admit it to anyone not even himself. Brantlee is attracted to Lex but has been burnt in the past so is understandably wary. All in all this is a good story, it’s short but entertaining. I loved the ending and the epilogue is wonderful.

I am sad to see this series go. This book was the perfect ending to the saga. Lex and Brantlee's story was wonderful and I truly enjoyed the showdown between Lex and Brantlee's ex and how he was there for her, together with unexpected supporters. I was shouting with glee when the ex was taken down!

A good ending

This is the final book in the series and it was good. It’s short and sweet. The h helps the H with a FBI investigation, they are attracted to each other. The h has an abusive ex husband who put out a hit on their child to hurt her. The plot and characters were very well written. Great epilogue.

This series ends with the sweet and lovely story of Lex and Brantlee. It's a little bit different than the other stories of the series, as it has a dramatic touch, however it doesn't overwhelm the whole story. Of course, the passion and action are always present. I absolutely recommend this book!

I don't know why anyone would write a book like this. I don't wanna waste my time thinking about this so I'll just say this book doesn't decipher heads and tails. I understand it was part of a series but that wasn't the point.

Lex ends our FBI series, and this book was wonderful! I have truly enjoyed Lex and Brantlee, their chemistry was great. Brantley’s son, Anthony, is adorable and Lex has a great way with him. Highly recommend this book.
