I’m of two minds regarding how to rate this book. On the one hand, there were parts of Exposed that were gripping, exciting and page-turning with edge-of-your-seat action and suspense. These were 5/5. On the other hand, there were so many parts that dragged. Nothing happened plot-wise in the first 1/3 of the book, just s3x and tears. The intensity from book one just didn’t come through. These were 3.5/5. The writing wasn’t bad; I just wasn’t engaged and found myself skimming. However, I enjoyed the overall read, so I am going with a 4/5.

Alexie survives his gunsh0t wound and is reunited with his true love, Nat (Natalia to him, but Natalie to the Elite team she has been working with). Rather than acting jealous and pulling Nat away, he embraces her relationships with the other men in the Elite. But Nat’s lies have hurt the team, and they might no longer be her men. She must rebuild the trust, confessing the truth behind her actions. Now that she knows her best friend Katia is alive and another victim in their missing person investigation, the team plans for her rescue.

Exposed is extremely high steam, which might be why the plot dragged at some points. Dare I say too much s3x? Not really, but several of the scenes seem awkwardly placed and either put a halt to building momentum or dragged out an already slow period in the pacing. Regardless, the scenes are well-written and exciting in their own right. Nat has individual relations with each of her men and several sharing scenes. It turns out that the men can learn to share their toys. Nat also engages in her first FF, which I particularly think was well done. All the FF moments were great.

When the action was going strong, this story was on fire, and I found myself looking at the percentage left at the end of the book and sweating! There was no way we would get to a resolution in time! That cliffhanger was even worse than the one we were left on with book one. Book three has some explaining to do!

Quite a few answers provided here as to the Bratva's activities as well as some rather interesting revelations regarding shady business deals.
I will not be continuing the series as there are things here that are simply just not for me. The romance has gone down a bit downhill. And the situation with Katia was not something I appreciated I should have checked some reviews prior to reading, so it is my own fault, but with the way things have developed, I simply have no interest to continue.

Book 1 was good, but book 2 was even better!

Natalie/Natalia knows that the love of her life Alexie is alive, but he’s just been taken down by one of her former teammates. With the truth about who she really is out in the open, it makes things a little more interesting for The Elite. Some of the team want to trust her, but some are more skeptical than others.

Adding in Alexie and Katia to the mix in this book, brought it to a whole new level. Even with tensions high in the group, the spice factor is still off the charts. Of course, the team is still on high alert looking for Andrei and Umbra, worried about what the two will do next.

Throughout this book, I thought things were starting to go one way, then they would swerve and go another way. There were times I even thought that someone on the team was actually the bad guy. And that ending…just wait! Not the twist I was expecting. Natalia is still a badass, even with her life being flipped upside down. She knows what she wants, especially when it comes to the people she loves. I love Conrad and Stryker, but who knew I would fall for King in this one too! And BJ, I would love to be her best friend…she’s awesome!

I can’t wait to find out what happens to The Elite in the next book, especially after that bombshell of an ending!

My rating while reading this book started at four stars, because it starts off a little slow for my taste, but it definitely became a five star read by the end of this book, so I'm going to stick with my final rating. The action scenes were absolutely superb! The authors are touching some dark corners in this second book in "The Elite" series, but it fits perfectly with the storyline.

I love the dynamic Alexie introduces in this series; he's my favorite kind of male character with psycho vibes and his "don't touch her or..." - way of life. I'm not always sure about Nat; there are things about her I like while others sometimes rub me the wrong way, but I do love her playful side. The connections between her and her men keep on growing and I love the dynamic that's forming between all of them. There is an expected character joining the harem though, and I believe it's a gread addition to the story!

So even though Exposed started a little slow, I ended up loving it, and I highly recommend reading this series. The cliffhanger is pretty brutal though, so make sure your kindle is safe no matter what... Unless you want a new one for Christmas, then this book could be the perfect excuse ;-).

Knife in the heart

I can’t even tell you how blown away by this series I had been. It has consumed a great deal of my thoughts since I read the first page of the first book. This one was tough for me. I was loving the story. The action. The humour. The bad-buttness of everyone involved. And then it happened. The cheating. Some may not see it as cheating, but it is. I’m not onboard with cheating and I have been assured the authors were adding a trigger warning going forward. It’s been days since I finished. And I have carried such anxiety and grief around with me since finishing. At this point, I’m unsure if I can continue with the series the way it’s going forward. And with that brings a great sadness because I was so enamoured with the story and the characters. So ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for the base of the story. ⭐️for the way the romance has panned out.

Keep in mind, if you’re okay with it and can look past it, this is a fantastic story at its core and I’m sure the future of the series will bring nothing short of more excellence in the drama department. I, however, have discovered am not one of those readers.

Secrets and Lies Exposed

Book 2, Exposed is here, and it came in with a bang! I could not put it down. It sucked me in, and I wanted more from the first page to the last! The storyline is riveting, and the character development and growth in this book were amazing. Picking up where book 1 left off, we find Alexie, who was there in Chicago all along. Now the team has Nat in a hold because trust is broken, and and will only talk if Alexie survives. When we finally get to the 'noggin chamber' and everything is finally exposed from Nat and all her secrets and her past is exposed its up to the team if they are going to keep her as a member and continue with the mission of the trafficking or turn her in. Lots of tension builds with the lack of trust, which cause a lot of stress and some twists to be able to pop up. The end leaves us with the biggest secret coming out of who Unbra is and the biggest twist in the book that will shatter your reality and leave you wanting for book 3.

This was one of the books I looked most forward this year.
After reading the first book and the way that one ended I just needed this one.
The wait is over to find out the background to Nat and her involvement with the Bratva.
And man she is someone that will kick you all the way to the moon if you mess with her.
Alexie her first love is found and things happens before he finally get accepted by the gang.
Nat revile to Nat that her best friend Katia is still alive and hold by a trafficking ring lead by
Andrei Volkov Alexies father and head of the Volkov Bratva.
The team is gonna save Katia and take down Volkovs.
This book has been a rollercoaster ride so far and its gonna get worse.
Be sure to read the trigger warnings but if you are OK with those this will be one of your best reads this year for sure.
The book ends with a big cliffy.
There was only one thing wrong with it and that is that I will have to wait for the next one.
Recommends to every one loving dark spicy action filled "romantic" BDSM fun filled what gonna happen next read.
One of the best books of 2022

This book took me on one wild ride after another. This is book 2 in The Elite Series. This pick's up where the cliffhanger from book 1 left off at with Natalia's first love Alexie is shot by none other than King, and later throughout the book there’s competition between these 2 that is way to funny, but first King and Alexie have to trust each other after the team gets over the betrayal from Natalia and learn to trust Alexie, because whether or not the team likes it they need them as they've discovered there's a mole inside the team. I loved that in this book we get to see the guy's and Natalia get closer as she tries to mend that sense of betrayal, but after she tells her story they start to understand why she did it.
There were so many twists and turns and unveiling of some shocking secrets and that wtf plot twist thrown in at the end😱 well played👏🏼I was not expecting that. Now I have to get my hands on the 3rd book to find out what's going to happen next.

I think I have to agree with almost everyone else's reviews of this book. I thought I loved Book 1 but man I think I may love Book 2 a bit more. So this book started off right where Book 1 left off so your not missing anything (unless you haven't read book 1).

Natalia is still as bad arsed in this book as the first. She is a woman on a mission and won't stop until she gets/figures out what she wants/needs.

I loved getting to know Alexi in this book. He was super sweet and caring to Nat. Ah sweet Conrad, you just are still just a bit too innocent. Stryker you are the man and shall always be the man. But man King, was the biggest surprise in this book.

I'm giving this book 4 Stars out of 5 and seriously can't wait for the next one!!!

**I received a ARC of this book from the author for my honest opinion**

Where do I even begin?! This book was perfection, the story and characters just suck you in.

Alexei is alive and we learn more about him and his relationship with Nat. Their connection and chemistry was explosive and both of them together was just *chefs kiss* Alexei is definitely a strong alpha but is such a sweetie and is understanding of her feelings towards the others. The others are definitely feeling jaded about her lying but their own pace realize she just wanted to keep the ones she loves safe. All the while, they combine forces to rescue Katia and look for Andrew and Umbra. With them out there, no one is safe.

This book had everything, there were twists and turns that I was not expecting. I honestly can’t wait for the next book!

Oh. My. G. What a wild ride! I absolutely loved it. I flew through it because I NEEDED to know what happened next. Let me tell you, get ready for the crazy. It’s full of twists and turns, angst, and delicious steam. Honestly, I think it’s better than the first book, crazy, but true. The characters are brought to life right off the pages, and we learn a lot more about them. I wasn’t sure how I felt about the guys after the first book but after this one, I can say I love them! Even the stubborn, @h0le ones. Each guy is unique in their own way and together they form a family, a found family. Each brings something different to the table. This book picks up where the last left off and Nat is a mess after that ending. Now that she’s found Alexie, she’s worried she’s going to lose him all over again. And the other guys? Let’s just say they aren’t exactly happy with her. Little do they know; she’s keeping even more important secrets from them. There is so much that happens and that cliffy just about killed me. I can’t believe it ended there; I almost threw my kindle across the room—I was not ready for it to end. I’m trying not to give anything away so I guess I’ll leave it at that, but this is a must-read if you’ve read the first book, and if you haven’t read it, you are missing out!! I highly recommend this series to anyone who likes dark, why choose. For a new author GP knocked this one out of the park!

You guys aren’t ready for this. It’s too much. So much happening in this book. We reunite with Natalia as she is firmly on her quest to find her best friend Katia. We know Alexie now and have been thoroughly introduced. He’s the perfect specimen and has the touch and I’ll unalive you vibe down to an art. And King, seriously how does his alpha asshole personality not drive anyone up the wall. Well, I mean, totally get the whole vibe. His OTT assholish ways is a thing and I’m here for it. A complete roller coaster ride from beginning to end. And umm that cliffhanger, that twist at the end. Be prepared to scream!

Natalia’s life has always been a mass of intrigue and lies, but now things are twisting and turning with every page. The Elite don’t know what to think of her, feel betrayed, and miserable. In reality, every movement was to find out what happened to her best friend and Alexie. Pain has never been a surprise in her life, but I think even she was surprised by the level of her feelings.

Every page was filled with surprises, explaining things, and also gave us new surprises.

I found myself being pulled out of the story a few times by the writing, which surprised me, but the overall story worked well. The ending also made me yell. Get ready !

Where to begin. King discovered who Natalia was and needless to say he was super mad!! Before he could tell the team about her something happened and someone did some damage to Red’s and BJ was supposed to be there. So they all rushed out to the site. When everything was calmed and they took Nat and Alexei to the safe house they put her in a cell in the basement for days until Alexei was better. Then they all talked and she told them everything. She was shocked to find out her friend Katia was alive. So they were making a plan to rescue her. A lot happened in this book and it kept me on my toes. This ended on a cliffhanger.

Book 2 picks up where the last one left off. Alexi has been found and the team is furious at nat for keeping secrets. After a few days they finally let her tell her story and realize that she did what she did to protect them all. This book is a lot spicier than the first one with many different scenes. Alexi is brought into the fold and they figure out who the mole is on the team. Once that was dealt with they made a plan to rescue Katia and the others that were sold or being sold. There were was a big twist at the end and it left off on a cliffhanger. Intrigued to see how book 3 plays out.

4.5 ⭐️ Nat, Stryker, King, Conrad, and Alexie. Nat’s secrets come out the betrayal the guys and Marcela feel. Her past with Alexie and their connection comes to light but they all share a common enemy, In the form of Alexis’s father and Umbra aka Ivan the Enforcer. I love BJ she speaks her mind and is unapologetic. She supports Nat. There is so much in this with twists, spice, action, betrayal, bonds tension, humor, mystery and more.

I received this copy and my spoiler free review is voluntary.

***4.5 Stars***

This book picks right up where the first book ended and is filled with lots of tension and angst. It took me a little bit to get through the middle of the book but the beginning and end are completely action-packed and so exciting.

I love Nat and I loved the character development of all of her guys. They are an interesting group with several alphas that you wouldn’t think would work together but they do. This book definitely turns the spice up!

This book brings out lots of emotions and that cliffhanger was awful! I can’t wait for the next book to come out!!!

Exposed

Exposed is book two in The Elite series and I would highly recommend you read Unknown prior to reading this one as it holds important information that follows into this book.

Exposed is a why choose who to love book and if this isn’t your type of read please skip this one. Okay now that was said let me tell you that the chemistry between everyone is beyond steamy and with the villains from the past trying to crush those around Nat she and her harem need to find a way to eradicate them.

Go grab your copy today and happy reading.

Nat’s harem grew in this book that continued to be action packed, filled with emotion and heat and most importantly maintained an engaging plot line. The ending of this book absolutely threw me for a loop and held a twist I did not see coming. It is not often I am completely blindsided in a book but I was here. I love the direction that this series has taken and I can’t wait to see what happens next. I’m happy that Katia is back and that all of the team members have their own stories being woven into the story. This book is multidimensional and has created an amazing world.

I thought I loved book one but wow book 2 takes the cake.

It is a bang.

I am amazed by the action scenes that is so off the charts amazing.

We get some dark stuff that goes very well with the storyline.

I am liking Alexie very much. He has psycho vibes, I will kill for her vibes.

I love the connections between her and the guys, it is starting to grow on me.

All the links between them.

I love the character that joined the harem now, it really adds to the feel of the story.

Be warned the cliffhanger is hard.

excellent!

This book was definitely pretty great! I’m loving Natalia’s nickname from king luci . She definitely is devilish . I thought everything was going to go to heck but it didn’t . They all overcame what happened in book one and came out stronger. I was through the moon when king finally came around and boy did he . The steam amongst the 4 guys and Nat was oh so yummy had me crossing my legs lol. The ending with that cliffy had my eyes bugging out. I can’t wait to see what happens next In this awesome series.

AAARRGHHHH!!! I need the next one!

The first book was action packed and set the stage. Exposed was even more action and heat packed and the ending has be chewing on my nails needing the next one. I love this RH read! It is unputdownable!! Nat and her harem are amazing together and I love how the authors show the development of this ever evolving relationship.

This is a darker romance read. There are so many elements and levels to this story that if I write about them, it will spoil it. I will say that I highly recommend it. It’s perfect!

I am a quick reader, but with this book, I didn't want to put it down for one minute. Between the plotline, character growth, and development in this book, you'll be amped for the next page turn. We pick up where book 1 leaves off, Alexie has been in Chicago the entire team. And, there's trust broken, Alexie must survive and Nat is in a tough spot. When everything is exposed, between the secrets being revealed and her past coming out. The team has the decision to make, keep her as a part of the team or turn her in.

There's tension, lack of trust, stress, and even more twists that will be popping up the deeper you go into the book. There's the biggest twist and secret revealed at the end of this book. And I was ready to toss my kindle, but it's new so I didn't.

Can't wait to get book 3, I can only imagine how everything is going to get even crazier!

It has interesting characters that you want to know and cannot help but love and a story that will grab you and keep you reading until the end and then you are needing more. This book is a must read, no doubt about it.

After reading the first book in this series and that cliffhanger I could not wait to dive into this one. The action in this story just gets better and better. I absolutely love Nat and her men. This story dives into some deep twists and turns but I love it. I will say the cliffhanger had me gripping my kindle and on the edge. I can not wait to read the next book. First things first, I recommend you go in blind so it doesn’t ruin anything for you but there is one thing that I had a problem with but I’m not going to post any spoilers.

Exposed was gripping and exciting with amazing action and suspense. It wasn’t as intense as book one but it was just as great and it picks up where the last one left off. I loved getting to know Alexei more, he’s a psychotic sweetheart and I loved the rollercoaster ride.

action packed and bringing the HEAT

What the open fridge. That cliffy was even worse than book one! I mean I’m not made because I love obsessing over the what ifs but THAT HURT.

Nat’s story has only grown even more alluring with the addition of her ex and her best friend. Each of their stories is as emotional as it is traumatizing. And the way they all work together?! I can’t wait to see more of their dynamics as they unfold in book three!

We're back in The Elite world with Exposed. The twists and turns in this will give you whiplash and tons of wth moments. I don't think it's quite as intense as Unspoken but still a great read nonetheless. Some things are revealed BUT, this author did it again with a huge WTH cliffhanger! This journey is getting better and better with each book. Don't forget to check the trigger warnings before you start.
