This got very repetitive, in the See Spot Run manner: "You can wade. You can splash. You can jump over rocks. You can wade, and splash, and jump over rocks in the brook. You can wade, and splash, and jump over rocks only when the brook is little." Elsewhere FOUR times it tells that water comes from rain, melted snow, or melted ice. And then it says it a FIFTH time in the recap just before the end.
Illustrations are well done, but kind of dull, with a ton of white space instead of any background. Quite similar to the other book by this team in the series: The Clean Brook.
This is a very basic (and heavily repetitive) book introducing the concept of the water cycle. This is not nearly as engaging as Busy Water, nor is it that much more informative.
