Incense and Thunder

Prayer is sometimes perceived as a duty, a discipline, or a means to maturity. It is talked about more than it is done. Prayer is really not only the opportunity to fellowship with God, but a partnership with Him. As we send up prayer (incense), He answers back with expressions of power (thunder). When we engage in prayer from this perspective, we experience heaven affecting earth. Prayer becomes a privilege and it is easier than most think.

I really enjoyed reading Dudley's book. It is a very easy read and gave some great examples and clear explanations about how to ensure your ability to develop intimacy and a deeper connection with God can be established in your personal lives.
