About the author

Amir Tsarfati was born in Israel and has lived there most of his life. Since fulfilling his mandatory service in the Israeli Defense Force, he has continued as a major in the IDF Reserve. Amir has been a tour guide in Israel for the last twenty years, and served as chief tour guide of Sar El Tours and CEO of Sar El Tours and Conferences. In 2001, he became founder and president of Behold Israel – a non-profit organization which provides worldwide real-time access to reliable sources of news and information about Israel from within the powerful context of Bible history and prophecy.

Amir is married to Miriam, and together they have four children. His home overlooks the valley of Megiddo (Armageddon) which is a constant reminder of the call that the Lord has placed on him to teach from the Bible what God’s plans are for the end of times.

I thought it was a really good read. I liked his insight, being an Iaraeli, and he helped me see things that I'd typically miss -or at least he made it easier for me to wrap my head around the timeline of it. I haven't really studied the end times much before because of the mix of- it is confusing, a bit scary, and it says we won't know when it will be anyway, so....I also tend to want to run away screaming from the typical explanations given in our western society...(I am generalizing, yes. I am sure they are made in honest effort but, from what I have seen, "we" generally make it all about "us"). So that being said, I really liked how he ran through everything in an understandable timeline and I liked his explanations of what & why he believes what the bible says about the end times.
The study guide is pretty thorough as well, it has some great questions...some to use as teaching and others for self introspection.
This book has really made me take an honest look at if I am truly doing what Jesus has asked us to do...
