As local and international events and news reports become more troubling, interest in Bible prophecy continues to grow. Cultural anxiety is reaching unprecedented highs, and many Christians have begun to wonder if the tribulation described in Revelation is already upon us.
Bestselling author and native Israeli Amir Tsarfati explores what will happen during the tribulation and explains its place on the eternity-to-eternity timeline. His rich knowledge of the Bible and unique perspective on current events equip him to share helpful insights into how As we wonder how close the end times truly are, we must return to God’s Word for clarity and wisdom. Has the Tribulation Begun? delivers enlightening biblical truth alongside powerful encouragement to live for the Lord today.
Amir Tsarfati was born in Israel and has lived there most of his life. Since fulfilling his mandatory service in the Israeli Defense Force, he has continued as a major in the IDF Reserve. Amir has been a tour guide in Israel for the last twenty years, and served as chief tour guide of Sar El Tours and CEO of Sar El Tours and Conferences. In 2001, he became founder and president of Behold Israel – a non-profit organization which provides worldwide real-time access to reliable sources of news and information about Israel from within the powerful context of Bible history and prophecy.
Amir is married to Miriam, and together they have four children. His home overlooks the valley of Megiddo (Armageddon) which is a constant reminder of the call that the Lord has placed on him to teach from the Bible what God’s plans are for the end of times.
Very eye-opening!! And so much wise Biblical analysis in context! As someone who absolutely loves the book of Revelation, I don’t think that reading it should ever leave a believer feeling fearful, but should instead leave you with a Godly fear and awe at the wonderful news of being eventually united with your Father - this book made me feel that awe and wonder even more.
This book clearly explains what is coming. The Bible is truth and Jesus is The Truth. Read and share this with everyone you love. Share it with your enemies because we are told to do so. If your words or pen don't work well pray for GOD to use all resources you can find.
An interesting book which helped me understand the dispensation pre-millennial, pre-tribulation eschatological perspective. Whilst I don’t hold this view, it was good to read a book advocating for this position that so many American Christians and older Christians hold. It helped to explain the why so many Christians are fascinated by Israel. 3/5 stars
Where to begin? I have now read a few books by Amir, and I must say they have been eye-opening and moving. This publication is clearly written by an anointed one and explains the period of history we are presently witnessing unfolding before our very eyes. This book is written in 12 short, easy-to-read chapters illustrating the events unfolding all around me and I can see that many along my journey do not see the relevance, urgency and prophecies unfolding so clearly. Sometimes I feel like I am living in a movie and watching everything happening around me, and while reading these chapters, I am encouraged to know that I am not alone. Amir includes biblical scriptures and examples to assure the believer that the tribulation will only begin once the church is removed, and who is the church? Those with Christ with the Holy Spirit dwelling in their hearts. 1 Corinthians 15:52 Until then, we are to continue being ambassadors doing the work of God until we are called home. This book is sooo good that I purchased a few copies to share with family and friends. Definitely a worthwhile investment!
As usual, Amir Tsarfati has written some of the hardest concepts of the Bible in a way that anyone can understand. Eschatological concepts are not easy to grasp for even the most ardent seminary students, but Amir explains them fully so that someone who hasn’t read a word of the Bible can see the signs, believe on Jesus and be saved. One of the best evangelical books to give in light of the times we live. Great job Amir - Shalom
I read this book in a little over 24 hours. I couldn’t put it down! Even knowing everything that Amir states in this book, he’s honest, fresh, and even includes some much needed light humor and sarcasm in parts that I greatly appreciated given the heaviness of some of the content. Very well written. Well done, Amir, God’s good and faithful servant.
The first word in the first chapter is quite simply "no". No, the tribulation has not started. And following that statement, a wonderfully well founded defense follows. This book is easy to read, clear to understand and a recommended read for all Christians. And, frankly, for non-Christians who want to know more about this topic of Christian theology.
Everyone should read this! It addressed much more than I expected and is a great resource for sharing with friends and family. May the Lord bless all who read and heed it’s words.
Love this book! Explains many things! More than once I smiled or laughed for Amir's writing style is wonderful! I knew much of what he said but loved his perspective about the Jews!
It is interesting to note that the only reviews written to date are those with a 5-star rating. There are 1, 3, 4 and 5-star ratings but the only ones with reviews are the 5-star ones. I wonder why. It would be interesting to know why the lower ratings were given, especially the 1-star ones. My suspicion is that it is because of their eschatological views. Mr. Tsarfati unapologetically holds a pre-trib rapture view. Maybe that is why I give it 5 stars. His book is full of scripture references to support his view. However, those who do not literally interpret the Bible, and especially Revelation, will not agree with him. He believes that whenever possible, a literal interpretation is the correct interpretation. This is a view that I whole heartedly support. He was extremely clear in expressing his views in an extremely readable way. He inserted a bit of humor at times. But his main point was clear. We need to be telling people the gospel because the time is short!
Amir Tsarfati's latest book" Has the Tribulation Begun" explores Biblical prophecy in relationship to current global events. With a clear understanding of scripture concerning the end times his teaching makes this unprecedented time in history interesting and recognizable.
Well-written, encouraging and based on biblical scripture his insight is filled with insight and a knowledge of mankind's future that instills peace and hope when so much is happening in this world today. It is a book that's worth reading not just by believers but those searching for clarity, enlightenment, even a lifeline in all the global chaos.
Amir Tsarfati"s Has the Tribulation Begun?: Avoiding Confusion and Redeeming the Time in These Last Days is a thought provoking, memorable read as the author gives his interpretation of the answer based on continually referencing the Bible as opposed to his commentary. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the text because it took me back to my childhood when I attended prophecy sermons at various churches. One of the biggest takeaways for me was that you don't need to be in a church building to worship. However, i felt as if I had been to church. His message also gave me pause on the entire Left Behind series.
It's a great book, very factual - it's a fun and easy going read for such a heavy topic.
It's not Chuck Missler deep but it's good reading for someone just trying to understand what is happening in the world.
I think it's important to know who the real players are when we talk about Gog and Magog and this author does a fantastic job of demystifying some of the heavy meaty stuff.
I could have just hung out in the meat for the rest of the book, but I'm a fan - I went and bought all his other books my local shop had.
Amir explains to us that why we are not in the tribulation and that's because the rapture has not happened. God has not yet come to take his church home to heaven where He is. Amir writes it so everyone can understand it. If your interested to read about the tribulation, I highly recommend you read his book, but also read the Bible for yourself to see what it says about the tribulation and sadly what will happen to those who are not in Christ.
This book should be read by every Christian who wants or needs an education on the Tribulation, who will be there, and just how awful it will be for those who have to live through it. It should also be given as a gift to those sitting on the fence when it comes to salvation. I've just ordered an additional five copies to give out to some people that I care about, whom I hope will read them.
This is another great book by Amir Tsarfati. It's written clearly, is easy to understand and explains the last days concisely yet with intimate Biblical insight. Tsarfati has an engaging writing style and sets forth his knowledge of Israel and the Bible in a way that makes his books hard to put down.
Avoid 7 years of horrors during the Tribulation, accept Jesus as your Savior today!!! John 3:16-18. Hebrews 2:9-11. John 14:6 Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to Father, but through me.”
If you have ever had questions about where we are at in the timeline of the end of this world as we know it, this is the book to read. Comforting to know the signs of the times and also challenging to share what we know with others.
Nice book and written in a very engaging way - how important it is to be prepared before Jesus returns. Even more so to be able to be raptured with Christ.
Well, this book certainly is a refreshing book. The title and cover are captivating, the contents inside are amazing, and I would recommend this book to anyone who is seeking answers to what the tribulation is, what it will be, and how it will come about. This is a great book! Check it out!
An excellent read!!! Mr Tsarfati is a master of this genre. Fiction is not his strong point but expository biblical interpretation most certainly is. His insight and understanding of Scripture and Prophecy is definitely a Holy Spirit gifting and he puts the gifting to good use. The simplicity with which he gives the reader an understanding of seemingly difficult passages of Scripture is a truly excellent use of his gift. At the Great White Throne Judgement, I suspect that he will be weighed down by the rewards that the Lord God will heap on him. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is wanting to gain an understanding of the end times and an approximate indication of where we are on the timeline of Jesus' 2nd Coming. If you're looking for exact times and dates, this book won't help you, but if you want an understanding of the signs and events leading up to His return, this book will give you just that.
It was interesting to read what an native Israeli and former Jew turned Evangelical Christian believed about the biblical End-Times. I find myself agreeing with some of his interpretations, disagreeing with a fair few others - quite understandable when dealing with future prophecy - but ultimately I found this a book with enough good to warrant reading. It is also very accessible and understandable for most, whether your knowledge of the Bible and/or End-Time theology is great or not. My only real complaint is that I felt Mr Tsarfati was a bit condescending when dealing with Christian interpretations that aren't in-line with his own, with hints of mocking and disdain in places too.
The title, I believe, is a question on many people’s minds, with all the natural disasters, wars, and rumors of wars. The author spends a good portion of the book talking about how bad the tribulation will be. He also spends a great deal of time discussing the rapture, which may Christians believe will happen before the tribulation. However, I do not agree that those who are believers need to be brought back to earth once, and if, they have been taken up. Nevertheless, an interesting perspective from someone of a faith other than mine. If the rapture is truly coming, I would not consider myself worthy to be taken up, but rather someone who needs to endure through the tribulation.
Amir makes it so easy to understand the times we are living in today, and we need to look up! Jesus is coming soon, and as Christians we need to be watching and preparing for the time when we will be caught up to be with Him, what a wonderful day that will be, but until then we need to keep looking out for the many signs Jesus have us...thank you Amir, for helping us to understand many of the confusing times we are living in and to remind us that as a Christian we will NOT go through the tribulation.
