This sixth installment is all about diplomacy and political intrigue. The Regent has been leading the Commonwealth for two hundred years and is growing weary of what he sees as a thankless job ( although he acknowledges the perks). The parallels to present day Earth are nicely alluded to and the author’s universe continues to delight me as I happily await the next adventure from the comfort of my chair.
