How do I celebrate spooky season? By torturing my husband with pumpkin erotica, of course!
We expected this to be terrible and boy did it deliver! But we died laughing throughout this entire stupid thing, so yay us. As usual, my husband guessed the dick wrong; he hypothesized it would be a large stem but it was, in fact, a ribbed, seed spewing gourd. He’s very disappointed in himself right now 😢. This book was weird and icky but ridiculous enough that we actually recommend it. Try it, join us, you will definitely regret it.
I don't even know what I was expecting, like a pumpkin that turns into a real man not . But somehow that wasn't even the strangest part of this very short tale. After the intercourse/alien enplantment scene But wait, this strange tail isn't over yet! So what does our FMC do when faced with the recourse of her raunchy night in the pumpkin patch? Well she Like what!? I don't know if I want to cry pumpkin baby abuse or get that woman a bottle of wine and a rape kit!? Holy Hell, that was traumatizing!
I want to say I loved the hilarity of it but this was a step too far even for my peculiar tastes.
This was a wild ride. No real character interaction other than the spicy bits which was dubious consent at best. There is bondage and impregnation which are not my fave in a book. However, the Halloween cozy vibes were top notch, and the writing was easy to get into. For an erotic short story about a jack-o-lantern it wasn't bad.
This isn't great, even for monster erotica. Non/Dub-Con referred to as "making love", weird gourd babies. Just bleh. If there were at least some humor to save it, I'd have gone with 2-stars, but alas, it was not meant to be.
Was going to give it 2 stars, but Maggie referring to pumpkin "seed" (if you get my drift) as "funky stuff" had me cracking up! Also, I wanted to find out what happens with her little pumpkins!
