I appreciate this for what it is. I’m just not a animal book person. I did think it was interesting looking at things from the horse’s point of view.

I gave this book a rating of five stars because it was very detailed in everything and the author told the story in the horse's point of view which was interesting for me. This book was just a little difficult to read because of the vocabulary. The vocabulary included some words in which I didn't know. This book was mainly about a horse (originally named Black Beauty)and his journey switching from barn to barn. In some cases Black Beauty was ill-treated and became very ill. At one point he nearly died because of his mistreating. In other cases though he was very well treated and loved by kind owners. My recommendation for this book is that it was very interesting reading from a horse's point of view and I would definitely recommend this book.

I flat out didn't like this book. The illustrations were good but the story made no sense. 10/10 wouldn't recommend.
