The mission to rescue Misaki is a resounding success, ending with Kojima in the hands of Fable, and Sunagawa's plans in shambles... While both parties languish after the fact, Captain Ebihara slips out of his hospital room to meet up with Fable! Meanwhile, having just gotten his cast off, Maguro's resident wannabe assassin, Kuro, shows up at Fable's door, begging to be taken under his wing. Just when one problem seems solved, three more take its place. Guess there's no rest for the world's wackiest hitman!
Kuro is a total fanboy for Fable. He wants to be an assassin too and desperately wants Fable as his trainer. He convinces Fable to take him on a forest trip for three days. I don't know about you, but I'm not reading about a stupid camping trip or survival nonsense. There's the Discovery Channel for that.
I read this series online over 3 days and didn't really stop to think of it as a serialized work. So this is more a general review of the whole series without spoilers.
Overall: I really liked it. This could have been very generic however the strong character decisions and quirks make this series a blast to read and very fun time.
I do feel the series eventually becomes more story driven and a bit more boring as we get less character moments. The ending to me is weak.
However as a whole work I enjoyed it and had a great time
