KIT TUNSTALL Ablaze

TRISTA ANN MICHAELS Fantasy Bar

DELILAH DEVLIN Ride a Cowboy

Arianna Hart enjoys spending time with her family, reading anything she can get her hands on, and of course writing! She’d love to spend her days on a beach with a drink in one hand and a book in the other, but until she wins the lottery she’ll just have to settle for chasing her girls around the pool.
This book did not thrill me too much - all the stories are "ok" but nothing more... something is definitely missing...
Convince Me - 2.5* A police officer and an heiress have the hots for each other but can't be together because of their "social status differences". Until we find out that she turns into a jaguar (?!?!?!), then the social status seems to be the least of their problems... Kind of a useless one...
Ablaze - 2.5* He is a hot fireman, she is boring and has trust issues... This one was also a bit lacking in everything...
Fantasy Bar - 3* She was kidnapped and almost beaten to death before killing her attacker and escaping. Turns out the attacker was a big shot and she is questioned about his murder by a sexy detective. Hot but a little too simplified and shallow, considering it deals with harsh topics such as rape and murder...
Ride a Cowboy - 3* "Older" woman (41) moves to a small town and starts being "courted" by a "much" younger cowboy/policeman (it doesn't say how much younger, but emphasizes the age difference). Cute, but - meh...
Convince Me - Arianna Hart A big-city police officier saves a beautiful heiress from a jaguar attack. but Sarena Wilton has secrets that he wold have never expected.
Ablaze - Kit Tunstall Firefighter Nick saves the life of a prim, proper school teacher. But saving her from her hang-ups on love and committment may be even harder.
Fantasy Bar - Trista Ann Michaels A private investigator chases a beautiful fugitive to a far-away planet to get to the bottom of the murder of his best friend. But when they meet up at abar where ordering a drink = ordering a sexual fantasy, he gets way more than he bargins for!
Ride a Cowboy - Delilah Devlin Although I am not a fan of Deviln's paranormal works, I was taken in by this sweet, patient Texas Deputy Sheriff, who is determined to win the heart of the newcomer to his small town.
Overall, a very enjoyable book. Ellora's Cave, I find, is a reliable publisher for good, romantic, erotic tales.
I loved the first story.. it had everything in it that I like about short stories... smoking hot sex, badass cops and shifters...lol
The second story was about another of my loves... firemen.. and he is a determined one at that.. never give up and all things will come together in the end for this kickass man.
The third story... Fantasy bar.. meh.. didnt really like it but hey... whatever floats your boat.
Fourth, there is just something about men from Texas I just cant wrap my Smuttiness around...especially with this one being so patient and wooing... your from Texas man... TAKE!...lol
All in all a good read.... and even better when I picked it up at work for 2.50... teeheehee
This was a quick read. I enjoyed all the stories not that they were anything to write home to mother about. I think for a quick read they are great but they are so short its hard to really get to much of a feel for them.
