Planning my next long distance walk and will always turn to the National Trail Guide as my starting point. This time, it's the Thames Path starting at the source in Gloucestershire. These guides are very informative, with lovely pictures. They break the walk down into practical, manageable chunks of around 10-15 miles of walking in a day, depending on the terrain and places to stop en route for accommodation and refreshment. Very much looking forward to starting the walk, as the weather improves and have enjoyed planning with this book.
