About the author

Saundra grew up in Cleveland, Mississippi, and now resides in Indiana with her husband and children. She started writing screenplays at the age of twelve and as an adult her need to create intensified. Saundra’s stories highlight fearless females who hustle to get what they deserve. Her debut novel, Her Sweetest Revenge, began the series that won praise for being a “roller-coaster ride” and “drama at its best.” Saundra is currently at writer at Kensington Publishing and loves to hear from readers.

Long Live the Queen by Saundra is the continuation of her urban lit success, A Hustler’s Queen: Reloaded, and picks up right where book two ended. This is not a standalone; read the Hustler’s Queen books one and two first.

Precious Cummings is a bonafide drug queenpin. She’s still running things alone, handling them well, and coming into her own.

Long Live the Queen is another successful 5 out of 5 stars urban lit novel for author, Saundra. The plot and its unexpected twists held my attention from attention from start to finish. The vivid, gritty dialogue made for an interesting read. Saundra went back to her writing beginnings and included a little bit of everything: love, lust, lies, romance, revenge, betrayal, and street intrigue. The ending is highly satisfying. It’s not a cliffhanger, but does leave the option of future installments, which I would certainly read. I highly recommend Long Live the Queen to all readers of urban/street literature.

This is not a standalone. I had to go back and read the first two books to catch up with the story before reading this. They were my first reads from this author and I’m a fan. Precious and Marlo, her right hand man, are the new distributors and collectors for El Guapo. The story is action packed with a few surprises. As precious continues to make moves with her eyes are now on something bigger and better. Thank you to Kensington Books and Net Galley for the opportunity to read this ebook in exchange for an honest review.

Although I didn't read the book prior to this, I had no issues following along with the story. Precious is definitely one you don't want to mess around with. Because if you do, you will get dealt with. She is not one for play play. This story held my attention from beginning to end and i read it on one sitting. I plan to go back and get caught up in the series.
