I was rushed away from home in the middle of the night and given an opportunity of a lifetime. The chance to redeem a family name I never choose. I can now change the way people look at me when they hear my father’s name. I can be a better man, do the right thing, and finally get out from under the shadow of evil he left in my world.

But in order to do that, I need to play the role of his son and leave behind the only thing that I ever gave a damn about. The one person in the world who never judged me and loved me unconditionally for the person she knew I could be.

I abandoned her without a single look back because she said she would wait. I just had no idea what I was leaving behind. Well, I know now, and it’s time to unravel the lies I’ve been weaving and prove that I am worthy of the family I always dreamed of having with her.

My name is Franklin “Wolf” Hoss Jr, and I am the President of the MorningStar MC Reno Chapter. After all these years, I’ve come home to Paradise to remind her of one thing…

Wolves mate for life.

I'm a retired 45-year-old Puerto Rican wife and mother of 3 plus 1 bonus daughter. Originally from NYC, now living a quiet life in the south suburbs of Chicago. I enjoy reading and writing romance and erotic fiction. I'm addicted to coffee, sci-fi, and all things Marvel and Harry Potter.

I was a teen mom with a whole world of statistics against me. Every time I was told I couldn't do something, I did it, took pictures, and smiled with my son on my hip for everyone who ever doubted me.

Now, after finding the love of my life in my thirties, we married in the great 2020 pandemic, which shall not be named. We have a house full of teenagers who don't need mommy anymore, and the hubs is a traveling ER nurse, SO I have found myself with a lot of downtime.

After years of having this story taking space in my head, I decided to share it with the world. Gotta say, this writing gig is HARD. But with some time and grace, I'll get it right.

OMG not to be rude but please proof read your stuff. Wrong word choices totally change the meaning of the sentence. There is no way someone reread this before publishing

Now the characters. Really?! I’m so I love with you you are the girl for me but I’m going to have sex with everyone I can while we are a part. You are mad at him for staying away but you never told him you were pregnant? Isn’t that on you? The 5 year old is smarter then everyone in the entire book. And I’m confused when her dad is the president and then your husband but you say you are the president of both clubs?

I could go on but I’ll stop my rant. I think I’m mad at myself for finishing and wondering why I even picked it.

Wolf and Damaris

I love this second generation spin off in the MorningStar MC series and seeing the some of the older generation still in the mix. Wolf and Darmaris were in love with each other back when they were younger but then Wolf left everything behind…including Darmaris.

Now Wolf is Prez of the MSMC Reno Chapter and Darmaris is acting Prez for the MSMC Paradise Chapter and he wants back what he left behind. This was a great MC book that I couldn’t put down and can’t wait to see what’s next.

This first book of the next generation of the Morningstar MC, and makes the assumption that a reader is well versed in the lives and happenings of the first series. For the best reading experience, start with that series (Abel), and move to this one.

This one left me with mixed emotions.

While I enjoyed catching up with the older characters, I had trouble connecting with the new ones. Some parts of this storyline frustrated me. Some parts were great. There is a lot going on, and it's important to pay attention to get the connections.

I received my free ARC from Booksprout and I voluntarily leave my review.

If you loved all the Morningstar MC Novels, you are going to want to read Wolf, the next generation is just as spicy, intriguing, twists turns, some new set of problems for.the MSMC, and some decisions made 5 years ago that are going to come to a head.
I loved seeing an appearance of most of the characters of the original series but I must say Abel, one of my favorites was throughout the book, because "Rebel" is his daughter one of the twins, Damaris Brooks and her and "Wolf" Franklin Hoss Jr. have been in love since they where young and sneeking around together. But 5 almost 6 years prior they where torn apart for the the betterment of the club. Sadly they where left out of a lot of details and there where a bunch of secrets, some HUGE life changing secrets, kept that are only now coming to the surface.
Wolf is the MC president of the MSMC in Reno and Rebel is the acting President of the MSMC in Paradise. So how can they be together? Throwing the logistics of location, can they even begin to figure out  how to be together when there has been so much trust lost, secrets that they didn't even create, not keeping promises, and one very very big thing that you will have to read to find out about. Lets not even add dealings in the Reno chapter for the true betterment of the club but not something Rebel would ever be ok with. Can they overcome all of these obstacles to even be together as a family?
I don't want to give away anymore but this is an absolute must read and I can say I can't wait for the next book to see if this all is heading where I think it will. But with D. Williams her brilliant mind, and her nack for a amazing level of suspense throughout her books who knows. I am probably way off base and will not see what is coming next and I love it!!!

This is the first story in the spinoff/second gen series. We were given a bit of a glimpse at the very end of the last story, so we go into this knowing it's Wolf and Demaris who are first up and the two have a child that Wolf never knew about. All of this is due to the older generation of MSMC members meddling and handling a certain situation and thinking they were keeping everyone safe. Now six years later Wolf and Demaris are finding out just what details were withheld from them and trying to make sense of everything. Both having thought the situation was completely different, now Demaris has to learn to trust Wolf again, while Wolf is just begging for a chance for them to be the family he wants them to be. With the deck stacked against them, will Wolf get Demaris to give him a chance? Or will the past come back and keep her from him?

Boy, this first story lets us know just how explosive this series is going to be! I can't wait to see just what happens with all the characters that we were just introduced to, and I love getting glimpses of the older characters and seeing just how their HEA's worked out. We are getting great violence, danger, drama, and some really hot naughty bits. I give this 4 stars.

editor?

Wow this had enough typos to kill a horse. They aren’t small ones either. I don’t think anyone reread this before it was published

On top of that the characters are either so juvenile or so unbelievable it’s not funny. Really bad even a five year old is smarter and more mature then everyone else in the story.

Man oh man, I read the original series (This is a spin off with the second generation) and IMO based on this first book it’s going to be even more explosive than the original series!!! Wolf and Damaris started out as teenagers in love, and they thought they were going to last forever. He gets a chance to clear his family name, but that means starting over and he takes that chance leaving Damaris behind. Wolf didn’t think he was losing out, but he royally messed up. Will Damaris let him back in her life again when he shows up years later?

The second generation are as crazy as the first and I love it! Wolf is about the second generation but we still see our favourites and Abel is as mad as ever! This is no normal MC - for a start they allow females to join and second they are all mad as hatters! They support and love each other and are just one big family. This book sorta ends on a cliffy so be warned!.

Wolf is the 1st book in the MorningStar MC: Reno Chapter series by D. Williams. This is the 1st book I've also read of D. Williams. This is a hard book to review because I'm so up in the air whether I like it or not. I think if I had started with book 1 in the MorningStar MC series I would have enjoyed this book more.
This book is about Wolf who's the Reno chapter President and Rebel who is the acting President of the original chapter. They were together when they were young and due to the club, they were ripped apart. But secrets never stay a secret forever and when Wolf finds out he has a son the club has hidden from him after everything he sacrificed he was done. He was claiming Rebel and getting his son like it always should have been. There is so much going on in this story and the events that led up to Rebel's father and grandfather betraying her the way they did that it's hard to understand everything. Further into the book it does get better because the past is kind of dropped and the now is focused on. Deacon who is Wolf and Rebel's son is my favorite character in this series so far. That kid man, if he was mine I'd end up going crazy trying to keep up with him. And Rebel's right, How do 2 bikers have a genius son? Probably, the smartest person in the club at 6 years old!
I gave this book a 3-star rating and a 4-spicy rating because of how in the middle I am. I really enjoyed each of the characters that I was introduced to. And I know it pulled me in enough to keep reading and hopefully get time to go back and start at the beginning to maybe change my indecision on this book. And it was interesting that it was left on 2 different cliffhangers, I've never read something like that. Viper is up next and I'm definitely interested in learning his secrets because he's definitely not who he seems to be.

I DNF’d another book by this author because the editing was atrocious. I made it through this whole book, editing still atrocious, only because I wanted to know what happens.

The author needs to HIRE an actual editor, not herself or her beta team that she acknowledges. Because holy smokes the errors. I will never understand how people don’t capitalize proper nouns. It’s basically ingrained in us from an early age.

The plot errors. How does the MFC go from being LOCKED IN A ROOM WITH NO WAY TO UNLOCK IT TO GET OUT to the next chapter standing in the same room as the MMC. Make it make sense.

Oh and the words that just don’t make sense.
For example:
“We contacted instantly. Being a twin myself, I understood his loss intimately.” YOU CONNECTED! You connected instantly. “Way to oversimplify the way the club likes to medal in our lives?” MEDAL??? Meddle people! The club meddled in their lives.

There’s numerous more examples just like those. How this went through betas, ARCs, & readers without the author knowing about these errors and not fixing them makes no sense. It’s an ongoing issue through her books if I’ve noticed it in another series as well.

Wolf & Damaris +

Their love began as teens. It would last forever--except it didn't. He had a chance to clear his family name but it meant leaving and starting over. He didn't think it would take so long or he'd lose so much. When he found out things were going to change he was taking back what was his. But would she come back to him? She'd lost too. Yet she'd gained as well. A career and more.

For those who've read the original series, the characters may have aged but they haven't changed much. The kids are now adults and the women feistier, and stronger than ever.

Wolf finds more than the woman he left. Danger follows. Can he have it all? The woman, the club, the family? Or will the danger now take it all?

Great characters, captivating storyline, lots of steam, danger, and club interaction. My only complaint is the ending. I won't tell you why so as not to give any spoilers. A good one and can't wait for the next!

I LOVE this author's writing style, as it's very addictive, and despite a few issues of personal preference I had with Wolf, I couldn't put it down for anything. Wolf and Damaris were together when they were younger before the MC sent him off to start another chapter, and it really did a number on her (and I can't tell you why either), but know this, she's a very strong woman who can take a man out LOL. He's come back after some years to make her his again (serious audacity), but it's not going to be that easy thank goodness, especially since he's the typical man, which is really starting to irritate me to all hell in books (still my own personal preference). I do wish he had to grovel more because I know for me, I wouldn't have forgiven him that quickly, but at the end of the day I still fell for him. On top of this, there's some suspense which sets us up for the next book that I CANNOT WAIT for so I'll just end with HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDING!

I was only able to get through this book by switching to Text-to-Speech. The abundance of typos, wrong word selections, and ignorance of grammar rules made listening less distracting and much more tolerable than reading.

Good storytelling isn't good writing, though. Clearly, either no editors were used or were as incompetent in polishing the material as the author was. There are so many flaws with this book that it almost wound up in the DNF pile or with a one-star rating. The story receives a very generous three stars because the author succeeded in getting me interested in what happens next.

That said, thankfully, the next book is in Kindle Unlimited. Hopefully, I will get to see what happens to Davina, what Viper is really about, and how Wolf's little family adjusts. While my curiosity has been piqued, this author's writing skills failed so spectacularly that I wouldn't bother spending money to keep reading, even using Text-to-Speech. Let's hope book 2 isn't as poorly written.

This felt so half-assed. Its supposed to be an MC romance yet the "MC" feels barely fleshed out. They keep referencing before Wolf left to start the Reno chapter but we barely actually get any of that info. According to other reviews theres a lot of background information missing because while this is book 1 in this series its actually the follow up series to Morningstar MC series and you kinda need to read that to understand this

Spoilers**

The romance also felt super fucking quick. Like, Wolf, as a prospect btw, left 6yrs ago to start the Reno chapter suddenly finds out he has a son, shows up wanting the fmc again and she's dropping the guy she's been dating for about 6yrs but never slept with to be with Wolf?!? Very little groveling from Wolf? Stupid easy.

This is the first in the next generation series and is Wolf and Demaris / Rebel’s journey. Wolf is the president of his MC, while Rebel is Abel’s daughter, and she is now the acting president of the MSMC in Paradise. These two were seeing each other in secret until they were torn apart, and now Wolf is returning to claim his family. This is a well written story which has family, lies, revelations, unconditional love, twists, emotions, intrigue, danger, suspense, drama, trust, challenges, and love, which leads to a riveting and addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

I enjoyed this story, though there were some things that were a bit off for me. Rebel/Damaris was young when Wolf/Frankie, an older man and the love of her life, left. Secrets kept them apart until they began to reveal themselves. Rebel had become strong, independent, and well loved in the MC. Wolf wanted to claim what was his all this time once the first secret was out. I loved his persistence in trying to persuade Rebel they were still meant to be, his kindness and love towards Deacon, and his determination to end the dangers and illegal activities of another MC.

This is my unsolicited review.

Couldn't do it. The hero was sent away to start a new MC and heroine said she'd wait for him. 6 years later she's been with another man for years. Sounds like waiting to me. Oh and she hid the hero's son from him. She sounds so in love //sarcasm
Somehow the hero finds out he has a son, we aren't told anything about how and when, he shows up and his son calls him dad. What now? And for some reason EVERYONE IS MAD AT THE HERO! He was lied to and betrayed but HE'S the bad guy? Nope sorry, I'm done. Plot holes right at the start, along with discrepancies and stuff.......add on how awful everyone is.......

I have been waiting for this book! I was not disappointed at all! This is the next generation to the Paradise chapter and once again D. Williams has knocked it out of the park. This has easily become my new obsession. Wolf is on a mission to get his family back. Working through the all the lies and secrets isn't easy. Rebel doesn't make life easy either. Rebel is definitely her father's daughter.
This series is going to be amazing and I can't wait for Viper's book!!.

It is going to be one wild ride!!

Damaris Brooks and "Wolf" Franklin Hoss Jr. tale was an entertaining first book.

Wolf ends up leaving the love of his life behind. After six years pass he learns what secrets were being kept making him set off to get her back. Will she be able to forgive him? Is it finally their time to be together?

I enjoyed this read 📚!

I can't wait to read the next book in this new series. The appearance of some of the first generation member brought on a smile to my face.

This is probably my favorite D. Williams book so far. There was so much packed into one book and for me it was a ‘don’t want to put down’ book. Throughout the book there were many moments where I wanted to laugh and go ‘awww’ at the same time. Wolf and Rebel are great to read about, of course, but Deacon is my favorite. He is so wise and mature for his age and I love how accepting to the situation and his new normal he is. Thank you D. Williams for always writing books that keep me interested!

Morningstar MC is back.

The babies are grown and are making there mark on the club. Abel has gotten older, but he never did grow up (and we wouldn’t want him too!)

Visit with old friends, watch the club grow, and see the new guard step in and step up.

Get all the laughs, along with a dose of possessive biker, heartbreaks healed and a 3rd generation genius. Morningstar MC lives on. And I am so glad!

Exciting start to the next generation of the Morningstar MC.

After the end of previous series, I couldn’t wait to start this one. Wolf’s story was a great first book.

Wolf left the love of his life behind for the MC. Six years have gone by, and he will stop at nothing to have her back.
Will she ever forgive him?
Can they finally be together?

I’m so looking forward to reading more about these new characters. I also loved the appearance of some of my favourite characters too.

Loved Wolf and Damaris together. Story started off with a bang and was surprised that the OG's were able to keep Wolf in the dark for so long but once he found out he was headed "home". Axel was up to his old antics and Dylan was having to rein him in as per usual. We were able to sense all the different emotions that Damaris and Wolf were going through and watch each as they grew back together. Deacon is a great little addition.
Can't wait for more Davina!

He left her for some club business, she is pregnant, he doesn't know,
Six years later she has been celibate, he was a manwhore all that time...
The best of all is that she has had a boyfriend for years but never having sex with him because "doesn't feel right", fuck me...
He came back, and oh!, she is mine,
No more bikers for me in a long time, this looks like another century...
DNF but one star for this shit still happening in 2022...

This is the next generation for the Morningstar MC. We have Franklin (wolf) who had a relationship with Damaris (Rebel) she had a kid with Wolf but he went and started another MC that had a purpose but Rebel didn't know the reason behind that reasoning.

There is an age gap, and Rebel can totally hold her own against her ex. Love her son Deacon, he totally reminds me of Abel.

This book does set up the foundation of the other characters, I hope all of them will have books.

I was a little apprehensive to start this book, especially knowing it was going to be the next generation and wondering how D Williams could possibly make it as fantastic and thrilling as the 1st series. But after reading the 1st chapter I was hooked, I couldn't put it down till I had read the whole Book. I absolutely loved it and it was great to see so many original characters plus meet new ones. ❤.

Wolf is the first book in the MorningStar MC, 2nd Generation series.

Having been ripped away from his family and his secret love in the middle of the night Wolf is now older and wiser and the President of the Reno Chapter, he's back in Paradise and back in Rebel's life, he just needs to remind her of their love.

Omg, loved this, it's a fantastic start and I'm really looking forward to more.
