I’ve always liked the sculptures of M. Auguste Rodin, even had the privilege of seeing The Thinker in France. There’s a certain vitality to his works, a literal weight to the wrought emotions. The Taschen summary of his life an work was quite enjoyable, and pretty much entirely devoid of the kind of art history or theory I am too uncouth to understand.

I wish this had more detail, and more photographs. Mostly I just wish it was more. Or that I was in a gallery showing of all the pieces. He was a fascinating, slightly ridiculous man.
