It was a really quick read. I don't normally like nonfiction but this one was fun. It had quick facts and information about every National park in the United States and Territories. I like fun facts about things. I mean I married a fun fact man. 😄 I learned a lot of new things about each park and discovered new places I would like to visit. I couldn't stop thinking that my very outdoorsy brother would find this book very enlightening and help him plan his future adventures.

I enjoyed The Little Book of National Parks: From Yellowstone to Big Bend. It was full of interesting facts about specific national parks, as well as helpful background about the national park system in general. I liked that it went beyond the most famous parks and gave attention to lesser-known places too. By the end, it made me want to add several new parks to my travel list. A fun, informative read for anyone who enjoys national parks, travel, or learning more about America’s natural treasures.
