She knew the trip could be difficult, but she never imagined it’d change her life…

An unfortunate stagecoach accident leaves Katrina with no memory of who she is and where she was headed. The only clues to her identity are stitched in hand-sewn quilt, but to unravel them she must traverse across the countryside and find someone willing to answer her many questions.

Luke, the man who saved her after the accident and is now providing shelter for her, volunteers to travel with her. Their journey and those they meet along the way provide some clues, but unless she can stitch the pieces together, she may never learn the truth about who she is and why she was traveling on that fateful day.

Will she and Luke find the answers she so desperately needs or have memories faded and secrets remained intact?

YOU JUST HAVE TO HAVE FAITH

The Christmas Quilt Bride books are clean, sweet historical romances with inspirational elements. Each book in the series is a stand-alone book by various authors.

The story takes place in Serendipity, Montana in the year 1885. A stagecoach accident will leave a young woman injured. While her physical injuries are minor, she hits her head and suffers amnesia. She remembers her first name is Katrina, but nothing much after that. One of her rescuers, Luke Davidson, vows to help Katrina in any way possible. She has a quilt with her, with squares stitched with images of a house, church, and other locations. Using the buildings as a guide, Luke will help Katrina find answers.

The story was intriguing and had a great cast of characters. Slowly, Katrina will have flashbacks of images and even a person that leaves her more distressed than relieved. When a man, William Fletcher, a banker, claims that he is her fiancée, she is uncomfortable with him. I love how Luke protects her and does everything he can to ensure that Katrina finds the answer as to who she is, about the quilt, and plans for her future.

The story is sweet and clean and has the coveted happily ever after ending. Readers note that the story ends on page 70 of 89, at 83%. The rest of the book is more about other stories.

She escapes with her life...

....but with no memory Katrina must rely on her heart to guide her. She has no idea who she is or who she can trust as she tries to uncover her past, but at no point does she let this break her. She stays positive, sweet and grateful for every bit of kindness she is shown, which makes it very easy to like her. This is a sweet, festive historical romance which I read on Kindle Unlimited.

Review:

So apparently if I want to love a Christmas book, it has to be written by Annee Jones! I'm being cheeky really. I'm sure there are other Christmas stories that I will enjoy. Books that she writes aren't books that I would normally read. And yet, I love her books. I seriously will buy her books when I see them. I won't even need to read the details of the book. This one is another short and sweet ones of hers. I do have to say there were parts of this book that I feel should have been drawn out a little more. They kind of fell a bit flat to me. Like they were rushed. This may be a personal thing of mine. I fully recommend this book. I recommend the author!!!

A heartwarming holiday read featuring two of my favorite things quilts (quilting) and Christmas.

Katrina is part of the Christmas Quilt Series written by several authors.

Author Annee Jones gives the reader a sweet story with some mystery too since Katrina has lost her memory. Being able to write a good story set in a historical setting makes me feel like the author is good at her craft.

The characters draw you into the story and are easily likeable.

I have enjoyed several books written by Annee Jones and look forward to reading more.

And reading the other books in the series.

I received my a complimentary copy.

After an accident Katrina has amnesia. She can’t remember who she is and why she was on the stagecoach. Thank goodness for Luke who gets her out from under the stagecoach. Luke gets her to his family’s home to recuperate from the accident and offers to help her. Will she remember everything? Will Luke find out who she is? His family is very kind and very welcoming. She really likes them. She just wished she knew who she was and why she’s there. The kindness of loving people, a kindhearted man and holidays coming up, miracles are bound to happen. Love this story and the characters. Worth the read. It’s a quick holiday story

I really enjoyed this story by Annee Jones. I love a puzzle in the form of a quilt. I cherish several quilts made by family members no longer with us and know they can mean so much to the recipient. Luke was just the person Katrina needed.

Christian Historical Romance

I loved this story, and Luke's wonderful family! Unfortunately the twins never made an appearance, which seems odd after so much discussion about them. I loved the surprise! What a miracle!
