Becoming One as Husband and Wife

Entertaining and thought-provoking
It is rare that "entertaining" and "thought-provoking" can be used to describe the same book but this book was simultaneously an exciting read and s growth producing one. I finished it in two days and had to control myself to ensure that I did not sacrifice my job/sleep etc to read out in a shorter time. Lots of tear jerking passages. I learned a lot!
The only weaknesses, in my opinion, were (1) the swear words (hints at some strong expletives) which I did not anticipate on a Christian book and (2) a few editting errors (about three).
But definitely a 5 + rating. I cannot wait for the authors to write another book.

GREAT book!
I love the main character, an aging counselor with much wisdom in the midst of a broken heart of his own. I found it very interesting how the authors interspersed the couples through the chapters.
Though fiction, the situations each family encountered are very real and anyone could identify with at least one character.
I just happened to be working on Milan and Kay Yerkovich’s “HOW WE LOVE” book and workbook at the time. I was totally blown away by the “coincidences” that the individual couples were learning the same things I was identifying and working on in my own marriage. For that reason, i found the book extremely helpful in understanding the many of the characteristics in my and my husband’s relationship.
You don’t need to be working on your own problems in order to enjoy this book. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it to everyone.
