I am so thankful to Rekhta Foundation for bringing these books to fore and making them accessible to even non-Urdu readers. This is my second book of Tabish saheb and he is such a delight to read. His ghazals and shers have a sense of self-sustenance that makes them extremely relatable and borderline immortal. In simple yet layered language, Tabish saheb has rendered life to the genre of Urdu poetry and am so happy to have found him through a friend.

Abbas Tabish Sahab’s work is something which will bring delight to all Urdu aficionados. Subtle yet hard hitting. One would want to keep revisiting some shers time and again.
