I liked the novel, but couldn't help but notice how vastly similar it was to an earlier (and better) series that Bastei ran before called "Dino-Land" (25 issues á 64 pages).
Personally I didn't care much for the ecological awareness messages or the half cooked mentions of Australian dream-time concepts that run through the book, but overall I’d say it’s solid Dino action.
A far shot from the works of Crichton and co., but good for a few hours diversion.
