I didn’t buy this manga but my brother actually bought the complete manga collection of the saga, therefore he lent me this volume to be able of reading it. My brother bought the Spanish translated version but I am choosing the English edition to make the review easier to work and to avoid having to do a bilingual review. I apologize in advance if I’d mispronounce some name or term on English since I am actually reading the books on Spanish.
This manga volume collects “Saint Seiya – The Lost Canvas” chapters #25-33.

ASMITA RULES!
If the previous third volume was the most exciting so far, definitely this fourth volume is the best written so far!
We meet Virgo Asmita, a Gold saint who is blind but able to project his spirit and to travel basically anywhere he wants, even the Underwolrd, also he’s able to communicate with Gods, any Gods, even Buda!
Taurus Aldebaran, another Gold saint, isn’t so sure about to trust Asmita since he feels that Asmita doesn’t care about the Holy War and even Asmita is trying to impose a new religion, in the Sanctuary which is religiously faithful to Athena.
However, Asmita is just trying to find the truth, not caring about sides in the war, but finding out who is right, and while he doesn’t consider that motives of Hades are totally wrong, after putting at test to Tenma, he will finally being pivotal to bring something able to eliminate the advantage of Hades’ specters of getting back to “life” after being beaten.
Asmita has been meditating a lot in his House (one of the twelve houses protecting the Sanctuary of any external threat) and he has reached a deep understanding about the Cosmos (the energy that Athena’s knights use to fight) and the senses, beyond the normal five senses, even beyond of the sixth sense (thinking) or the seventh sense (that Gold saints can access with ease), Asmita deduces that there is an eighth sense, which will be key to make possible a way to balance the fight of the Holy War.
Meanwhile, Tenma is able to get back to the world of the living, getting his Cloth armor repaired with blood of Asmita, therefore, now Tenma is so pumped up that in his first strike against the Hades’ specters, one of them, Cait Chesire (a lackey of Pandora) even thought that it was the attack of a Gold saint since he felt a cosmos too intense!
