Usually I have positive things to say about the books in this series about our nations presidents for young readers. This one, not so much. There was very little information that was written at an elementary school level that chidren could understand and learn from. Some more information about what type of person James Knox Polk was might have been helpful, instead of the overly political facts about boarder disputes or transfering of bank funds.
