I thought this book was good because I love historical books. The reading age would probably be 4th grade and up. Rutherford Birchard Hayes was born on, October 4, 1822 in Delaware, Ohio by Sophia Birchard Hayes and Rutherford Hayes. What will Rutherford Birchard Hayes do in his early life and presidency and after presidency? Read the book to find out!!!!!

This presidential series continues to impress me with its simple and clear way of describing some of the key events in each featured presidents life and time in office. These books are best suited for 3rd and 4th grade students and would be a wonderful addition to those classrooms or school library.
