Volume 4 is my favorite so far.
I loved reading about Alice's past with the Duke and how she came back into his life after a few years apart. The Duke was struggling with depression and rage, and Alice helped him get through a dark time in his life.
I like Caph and Zain, I think they are great additions. So is reading about Viola. We meet a new character, the second son and heir apparent Walter. Walter is jealous of the Duke, and he doesn't like him.

The best volume yet! It's taken me till about halfway through volume 3 to start to get into the series, and after this volume, I'm curious at what comes next!!

I adore this series. It's dark and mysterious, funny and all around such an adorable romance!
