Mafia Elite Box Set: Volume Two

This is a great boxset! These books and this whole series is awesome. If you enjoyed the first boxset (or even the first book) you should definitely grab this one too. It continues the family stories, but they can be read as standalones as well. But it definitely works best if you start with book one and continue from there. This author never disappoints so if you haven't checked these out yet you must definitely should!

Fantastic Box Set!! I would recommend reading this series in order as the author weaves all the characters into each book....

Savage Secrets Book 4 - I love how the author weaves in each character all the way from the beginning of book one and into this book of Marco and Elena. I feel so invested and part of each "family". If you love a fantastic mafia romance book with secrets, agenda and some sizzling moments this is for you! Truly recommended and another 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5 star book!

Ruthless Heir Book 5 - I love the chemistry between Luc and Summer in this book. I love a strong female character and Summer's character was totally fantastic! Summer is on the run, trying to escape her roommate's boyfriend, Ben. Summer ends up fleeing to Chicago, and ends up meeting up with Luc for a night of fun. Luc, whom is a very successful businessman but finds out he is the head of the Brambilla mafia family. Little did Summer know that who her new boss is at her job...ends up being Luc. There are plenty of twist and turns in this story along with secrets and danger. Will Luc protect Summer from what is to come? Definitely read and find out!!

Collateral Damage Book 6 - This story of Trey and Hailey I loved, and I couldn't put the book down from beginning to end. Trey is not only part of the mafia, he is a brilliant surgeon as well. His thoughts consumed by the death of his girlfriend and feels like no one else can break down his walls, until he meets Hailey. Things get a bit out of control when Hailey is kidnapped and Trey will do anything to get Hailey back. As you read more, there is danger, intrigue, lies, blackmail and all wrapped up into some great twists I did not see coming!

Rivals Book 7 - This book of Nico and Mia is fantastic fantastic fantastic!!
Mia...wow....she is tough as nails but what she endured...my heart truly broke in a million pieces between her father using her as a pawn and her step brother Ricco, whom I totally despised. When enough was enough, is bravely flees away from her family. Mia know how bad it is, especially her step brother Ricco. Mia has a purpose...take down her own family.

Nico is quiet, loyal and fierce. He will do everything to protect the "families" no matter what. When Mia seeks NIco out with a proposal....this is where it gets interesting. Mia wants protection from none other than NIco...but what is the cost? Family secrets, bartering..will Nico break down his own walls and protect Mia and help her? Intrigue, deceit, trust but the spark and sizzle that goes along with Nico and Mia was perfect!

This series of books is just fantastic and I cannot get enough. The characters, story line..all of it really grabbed me from beginning to end.

Savage Secrets Book 4

The author has hit it out of the park with this continued series. I can not get enough of this tight knit group of Italian mafia family friends. Elena has been in hiding for so long. At the end of the last book, her secret came out that she was still alive. The family went nuts. Now things have gotten too dangerous with the Russian mafia that she has to be found. Who will find her first? The Russians or the Italians? This book had so many shocks for Elena that your heart will be pulled in so many directions. If you have read the previous books, this is a must read for sure. The author brings these characters to life in each book, you feel like you would want to be friends and know them. Amazing writing.

Ruthless Heir Book 5

I love this Series. If you have not read it. I highly recommend it. Mafia, murder, love, sex, crime, kidnapping.... What more could you want. You will be drawn into this book from the moment you meet Summer and then not long after Luc. This twisted tale will keep you on pins and needles. I couldn’t put this down. Luc and Summer have a very complicated connection that only deepens as the story continues. I had to look and see if there was a next book. YES, there is. I can’t wait.

Collateral Damage Book 6

Oh my Goodness, I absolutely love this series. In this 5th book, the story revolves around Trey and Hailey. Hailey has always been second best in life and took to hiding in the background as much as possible. Trey, the sauve sexy doctor/ mafia man is trying to get over the death of his coffee shop girlfriend Teressa. Trey and Hailey are thrown together by unforeseen circumstances. This book will keep you reading long into the night or will be read in one day. I could not put it down. All our favourite characters are still in this story which draws you in even more. I hope this series never has to end.

Rivals book 7

Love this series. This book did not disappoint as it gave so much action and suspense right off the first few pages. I was hooked. The story of Nico and Mia. Mai is from the New York Mafia and Nico is an underboss of the Chicago syndicate. When Mia finds her way to Nico, will he take her up on her request for protection? Everything lies in Nico’s hands. Surprise after surprise in this story. You will be glued to every page. I just can’t get enough of these characters and how they intermingle.

Savage Secrets.

Elena Caruso is a beautiful young woman who is running away from her past so that she can keep herself and those she loves safe from harm and for a while it has worked, that is until one day when she receives a communication from someone saying that she has been found. Marco La Rosa is the boss of a branch of the La Rosa family, one of the Five Mafia Families in Chicago and he is as handsome as he is deadly, but the one thing that he has wanted disappeared from his life, but just when he thought he had come to terms with that, she pops back up on his radar and he will do anything to find her.

As Elena starts off her daily routine, she goes through the motions of her life while making sure that there is nobody following or watching her, just like she has done everyday since she left behind everything she knew, she enjoys what she has created for herself. However, as she returns from her morning run, she notices that she has missed calls, assuming it is her boss, she waits until she is back in her apartment, but when she finds that it is the communication she always dreaded receiving. Marco has just found out where the love of his life has been since she disappeared and he leaves to retrieve her the first opportunity that he can and when she opens the door and he finally sees her in front of him, it takes his breath away, just like before, however, now she is a woman and does it on a whole new level. When their eyes meet across the threshold, Elena tries to get round him and after grappling for a bit she flees and he has to use every ounce of speed he has to keep up with her.

Will Elena and Marco be able to overcome the hurdles between them and keep her safe from the dangers which are quickly closing in on her, or will they be ripped apart by circumstance again?

Luc Savino is the heir to a Mafia throne, but he is unaware of that, he has success in in his life, a business he has built from the ground up and a determination which keeps him wanting more. Summer Johansson is a woman determined to be better than her childhood, she wants to have a life without worrying where the money for the next bill is coming from, or whether she can afford to eat, but her current temp job is allowing her that, although not by much.

When Summer was attacked in her home by a Mafia boss, she grabbed what she could and left, with little left and less opportunities in her future, she asked for help and managed to keep under the radar, that is until she found out her best friend had been murdered. Luc is preparing himself to meet the employees of his new company, as well as delegating out work he needs completing so he can get a better idea of the structure, personnel needs and future plans, however when he comes face to face with the mystery woman from the night before, he is determined to find out more about her. As Summer races into the office, she sees her old boss being dragged out and shouting about something, she doesn’t know how to react and when she is about to bolt, her new boss stops her and demands to how why she was about to leave and why her former boss was accusing her of being a spy.

Shortly after this, another Mafia boss arrives and asks Summer and Luc to go on a plane to Chicago with him, but with all the lies which are flying around when they arrive in Chicago, Luc will not let sleeping dogs lie with Summer, but as they become closer, the attraction they are desperately trying to deny comes to the fore, but can they forgive the secrets and lies which lie between them?

Trey La Rosa leads a double life, on one hand he is a surgeon at the local hospital and on the other he is the one who stitches up and treats all those within the Five Families Mafia in Chicago, but leading this double life is exhausting for him and one day, he hopes that he can manage his time better. Hailey Carmichael is the daughter to rich parents who have her life planned out for her as a socialite running in the same circles they do, but she wants more, however, she isn’t sure how to get it, not in the least the man she has had a crush on since the first time she saw him.

It is a day full of tension for Hailey as she has to confront someone important to her about something she is dreading talking about, but she takes a couple of deep breaths and decides to go for it before she buckles and backs off before she gets what she wants, that is until she is kidnapped and thrown into the back of a van right in front of the person she was about to talk to. For Trey, it is just another day on call at the hospital where he does his usual rounds and interacts with his patients so that he can make the best decisions he can for them, however, when he is called in to the office of one of his superiors and finds out that a woman he has tried to forget has been kidnapped, memories surface of the first and last time he saw or spoke to her and how grief for his first love got in the way, he decides then and there that he is going to rescue her, whatever it takes.

As they spend more time together in his home, the attraction they felt the first time they met resurfaces and they both struggle to maintain the distance between them and the one thing they crave the most, each other, but will they be able to uncover the secrets and reveal the truth before their new found relationship is severed, again?

In this instalment of the Mafia Elite series, it is the turn of the quiet brother, he may not be one of the loudest in the family, but he is just as deadly as his other brothers, he is able to blend into the background, which is useful when he needs to glean information and he is extremely observant, because of this, he is underestimated, but not by Mia Tucci. Mia is a New York Mafia Princess who turns up in a place she shouldn’t after escaping from her own Mafia family, they only want her as a bargaining chip, but she wants more, she wants one of the Chicago Mafia brothers and she will do everything to get him and the safety she do desperately craves. So Mia offers a deal he cannot refuse, but first he needs some more information and calls his family to help, but as he waits, he considers her offer and what ramifications it could have on the Five Families. Will the Five Families come out of this intact, or will the danger be too high and consequences to dire?

Savage Secrets: I swear! The books in this series just get better and better! McKinley does it again with a deeper look into two lesser known characters. I absolutely love the way she develops her characters and she doesn't disappoint with Elena and Marco. These two have a complicated relationship to say the least. Elena was promised to another mafia boss through an arranged marriage, but her "death," and a few other factors, lead to that be voided, and Marco couldn't be happier. Elena, however, has mixed feelings about not only her own feelings towards Marco, but his feelings towards her. I absolutely love seeing these two characters develop over the course of this book.

This book is action-packed and filled with suspense. There are so many twists and turns that you'll forget which way you are going. While I did see some of the twists coming, there are others that completely blindside you! McKinley does answer quite a few questions leftover from the previous books so a lot of loose ends are tied up. This one really grabs you from the beginning and doesn't let go until the end. And we can't forget the spicy parts! I love the way Marco and Elena are so cautious in their feelings toward each other because it just builds and builds!

As always, I recommend reading the books in order. As a reader, you just get so much more and can appreciate what McKinley does not only with her characters, but also with the plot. Wonderfully written! Honestly one of my favorite series!

Ruthless Heir: Another great installment to the series! I absolutely love the way McKinley develops her characters. They are so well-rounded and she doesn't play into the stereotypical role of women. I must say that I am missing some of the characters we've grown to know and love, but that's only because I still want to know what's going on with them! But McKinley doesn't disappoint with her characters. I love the way Luc and Summer's story evolves throughout the novel.
McKinley does an awesome job of driving the plot forward without rushing the development of the characters or timeline. And her *spicy* scenes are perfect! There is just enough of them to entertain without being gratuitous. I absolutely love this author! I can't wait for the next installment to the series!

Collateral Damage: I absolutely love this series by Amy McKinley and (I know I've said it before) but this was the best yet! I love the intertwining of all of the characters and their lives and how we never really "lose" any characters once their book is done because they will always show up in another one, one way or another. I love McKinley's character building and her plot development. She really takes her time building and sculpting her characters, individually and as a couple. The way McKinley moves her plot throughout the novel is just *chef's kiss*. I don't feel like the plot is ever stagnant or that McKinley rushes anything. It's really a perfect pace.
Trey has to be my favorite of the Mafia guys. He's just so sweet and wholesome (not my typical type) and has a really good heart. While he doesn't play a full-time role in the Five Families, his role as physician/surgeon is just as integral. He also doesn't flaunt his connections around, but uses them wisely and discretely. He is still grieving the loss of his girlfriend and has push Hailey away previously. But when she's in trouble and Trey is asked to help, he can't help feeling drawn to her once again.
Hailey is no stranger to tragedy and grief. She lost her sister and her father in a tragic accident. Hailey's mother has remarried and pushed Hailey to the side leaving Hailey to deal with everything on her own. Hailey has been pining after Trey ever since they first met at a gala and they danced the night away. She's friends with Sofia, Trey's sister, but has never had the courage to ask her to set them up.
Once Hailey and Trey meet again (cue second chance) the passion and sparks fly. The sexual tension is there; however, it's pretty PG throughout the book...but hey...we can use our imaginations, right? There are twists and turns you won't see coming and your heart may break a time or two, but it's definitely worth it.
I cannot wait for the next (and final?) book in this series to come out. While you can read each one as a standalone, I really recommend reading in order to get the most out of it. You really get a sense of the characters and the family dynamics. But either way...JUST READ THEM!!

Rivals: Amy McKinley has done it again! I know I say this with every book in this series, but this is the best one yet! I cannot believe this is the last one! As always, you can read this as a standalone; however, I would recommend reading the entire series, in order, as you will get the best understanding of the plot line and all of the characters. You will also understand all of the little nuances and seemingly "minor" details better if you read the prior books.
The heat between Mia and Nico is electric *wink, wink* from the first time they meet and only continues throughout their story. With Mia on the run from her horrible family, the only person who can protect her is Nico and the only way he can truly protect her is to marry her. So Mia risks it all and seeks him out, offering to take down her family if he'll change her last name. Can they trust each other enough to do this? Or will both of their pasts interfere and ruin everything? McKinley definitely saved the best for last with Mia and Nico's story. I absolutely love how they are both guarded but they bring that guard down for each other. I think their story is my favorite.
I love the way McKinley writes her characters, especially her female characters. They are completely capable of standing up for themselves and getting themselves out of precarious situations. They also stand with the guys during the tough times and are forces to be reckoned with. They are badasses. This has been an amazing series! It's a definite must-read!

SAVAGE SECRETS

This is book 4 in the Mafia Elite series and they just keep getting better and better. I have loved all these stories for the romance, danger and action that is packed into them. The characters are so well written that they are a joy to read about. Even though the Mafia bosses are tough hard men we see the softer side to them when they are with the person they love. This is Marco and Elena.

Marco is the boss of La Rosa family. For years he thinks the love of his life has died but now he knows that's not true and he will stop at nothing to make her his. However there is a threat from the Russians that want her dead but no one can understand why?

Elena has gone into hiding from the Russians. They murdered her mum and for some reason they won't stop until she is also taken care of. With this threat now finding her she has to return to the protection of the Mafia family. She has always loved Marco but his attitude towards her has always been hostile so why is he going out of his way to help her now?

This story has so many twists that you are gripped from beginning to end. There are so many secrets that are revealed which shocked me and kept me reading.
Can Marco protect his love from harm? Will the secrets of Elena's past come between them and when the secrets are revealed what will that mean between the La Rosa family and the Russians?

RUTHLESS HEIR

This is book 5 in the Mafia Elite series. I have lived all these books. Each one is unique however I do recommend reading them from the start so you know how the families work and who is part of what family. The stories are full of danger as well as the romance. The men are hard and dark which only increases their appeal.

In this book we meet Summer. Summer is on the run after her friend tried Cross a member of the New York Mafia. She escapes to Chicago where she has a one night stand with the person who turns out to be her new boss. Now she is forced to accompany him as his assistant when she is accused of stealing his money but things aren't what they seem and the secret that Summer is trying to protect as well as her safety could now be in danger.
Luc is the heir of the Chicago Mafia although he isn't aware of this fact until Max turns up and explains things to him. Luc can't help the attraction he feels towards Summer. However he knows she is hiding something and what that is he plans to find out.
As things start to work through Luc realises just how much danger Summer is in. Will he stand up and protect her? Or will he deliver her back to the New York Mafia to avoid more conflict between the Mafia families?

COLLATERAL DAMAGE

This is book six in the Mafia Elite series and it is every bit as good as the rest in the series. This story is a very sweet second chance romance but where the Mafia is concerned nothing is sweet and innocent for long. The reader is sent on a journey with twists that you don't see coming which keeps the reader guessing from start to finish.

This story is about Trey and Hailey.

Trey is part of the Mafia family but also an amazing surgeon. After losing the love of his life he threw himself into his work and became a shadow of himself. He resigned himself to never feeling alive again. Until Hailey came into his life.
After meeting Hailey at a party for the hospital the attraction was instant and he started to feel alive again. However it was too soon and the loss of his love made him move away from what could have been happiness.

Fast forward and when Hailey is kidnapped her step father asked Trey for help finding her. When they meet again the spark is still there and as they work towards figuring out who was behind her kidnapping and why the connection gets stronger.

Will this couple be able to work all the dark plots and obstacles against them? Will Trey be able to allow himself to love again? And what would he risk so that this time he doesn't lose his love again?

This the 7th book in the Mafia Elite series and omg I absolutely love this series. The stories are full of danger, twists and turns, loyalty and a really good steamy romance. These stories for me really captivate me and this book was just the same.

In this story we follow Mia and Nico. Both of them are part of different Mafia families.

Nico is considered quiet but is a very smart calculating underboss. He's looking for a way to bring down the other Mafia boss. His research keeps bringing up one name. That of the bosses daughter Mia. He know she could be the key to finding a way to destroy the other boss but how will he get her to talk?

Imagine his surprise when Mia turns up to see him with a proposition. One that will get Nico everything he wants but will also change his life forever.

Mia is a confident, strong, fiesty women. For years she has been kept locked up by her father. But she holds a secret. She is the rat in her father's family and she is determined to bring him down. The only way she can do that and protect herself is to team up with another Mafia family.
So she approaches Nico asking for marriage so that she is protected from her own family.

Will Nico accept her conditions? Will they successful bring down Mia's father and his illegal actions? And what happens when a proposition of convenience turns into something more real and intense?

Mafia Elite Series Box Set: Volume Two by Amy McKinley

This isn't the first box set I've read by the author. The author knows how to keep readers entertained and keep coming back. Every book in this box set is amazing and I can't wait for you to enjoy them.

Savage Secrets: An Arranged Marriage Mafia Romance (Mafia Elite #4)

This isn't the first book I've read by the author. It's also not the first book in the series that I've read. Each Mafia Elite book gets better and better. Max and Lil, Enzo and Sofia, Stephano and Em, and now Marco and Elena.

Marco is the Mafia boss for his family. He's also the one who is sent to get Elena. He wants her to be his, but she doesn't know of his feelings for her. Things happen that bring them closer together. The quote I chose for Marco is: “Going somewhere? Chloe James? Don’t think for one second I don’t know you’re Elena. I’d recognize you anywhere, in any disguise. This freckle, the shape of your eyes, the pout of your lips, even the smell of your skin. You can’t hide from me. It doesn’t matter what alias you use. I’ll always find you.”

Elena has been dead for the last four years in order to protect everyone she cares about. So when Marco shows up she runs because she doesn't know if he wants her dead as well. This is not the first read by the author. This is number five in the Mafia Elite Series. Each gets better and better. You never know what you're going to get or what to expect.

Summer comes home from work to find her roommate and best friend dead. She knows what she has to do and she runs. She knows her friend's ex is after her. The quote I chose for Summer is: “Stop bringing that up. It was a mistake and the first time I’d ever been to that bar. I wish I’d never gone.”

Another fantastic read by the author. Collateral Damage is the sixth book in the Mafia Elite Series. This time it's Trey's turn. Only this time she might not die.

Trey might just be getting his second chance at love. Hailey has done nothing wrong and she tugs at his heart. Will Trey be able to save her in time? The quote I chose for Trey is: “Be careful how you talk to me, Allen. You won’t like the repercussions. Make it happen with the board, and I’ll see what I can do about your daughter.”

Hailey goes to meet her dad, only she doesn't call Allen her dad. She falls for Trey but can't let it be known as she doesn't want to get her heart broken. The quote I chose for Hayley is: “So you took on his crisis rather than tell him to shove it? He could have gone to the cops. I don’t understand why you got involved. It seems like this is more of a headache for you.”

Rivals: An Enemies to Lovers Mafia Romance (Mafia Elite #7)

This isn't the first book I've read by the author. So far every single book is amazing in its own way. This book tops them all though. This is the seventh book in the Mafia Elite Series. I really can't choose my favorite book.

Mia comes from a different side of the mafia. She isn't sure where to fit in only to find her love in the La Rosa family. She finds that her father isn't really her father. The quote I chose for Mia is: “I’ve only been here, Chicago, and Grand Cayman. I’m not sure where I would want to go. Maybe Italy? It’s hard to believe I’ve never been there, being Mafia and all.”

Nico was engaged and then stuff happened. Now he's trying to figure out where to go from here. He meets Mia and knows that he's got to have her. Then stuff went down and now they're putting their lives on hold. The quote I chose for Nico is: “My sister urged me to purchase property here even if I wasn’t ready to build. That’s ours. We can build a house whenever you want.”

Highly recommended for Mafia Romance lovers.

Savage Secrets: I absolutely love Elena and Marco! From Frenemies to Lovers! Even though you can read this book as a standalone, I recommend reading the other books in order before this one. There is vital information about Elena's starting predicament that may be confusing if you do not know the background information from the other 3 books. After finding that Elena is alive, Marco will not stop until she is his and in his arms. As teenagers, Marco and Elena were always back and forth teasing and punishing for no reason. They both had crushes on each other but kept it a secret, as Elena was promised to marry Enzo. In this book, it tied up several of the sub-plots that go on throughout each book. Marco is the sexy tattooed badass, while Elena has become an independent badass of her own. Her being away from everyone and in hiding for the past 4 years causes several issues with the two main characters, trust being the main problem. As Elena, is not sure who to trust, and Marco is pissed that she left without asking for help. The main Mafia situation in Savage Secrets is focused on the Russians, the Boss Yuri in particular. Very action packed but with lots of romance and love. Definitely cannot wait to read the 5th book in the series.

Ruthless Heir: Ruthless Heir, Book 5 in the Mafia Elite Series throws a huge loop than the other pervious books. At first, I was not sure how I would like it considering it is bringing in two new characters that have not been introduced yet. The love story focus is on Luc and Summer. Luc being Lil's long lost half brother, who has no idea he has a sister, let alone Mafia. Both Luc and Summer come from hard difficult childhoods, which is one of the things they bond over. The book focuses on Luc's training to become the new Mafia Boss for the Brambilla Family and the new girl who he has dragged along with him, Summer. She is also on the run from another less powerful Mafia Family, the Amato's. She keeps her cards close to her in hope that she Five Chicago Families do not turn her over. At first, Summer is there against her will, but slowly everyone, including Luc falls in love with her. As Summer and Luc work together every morning, their love connection grows so beautifully. Summer and Luc both fit excellently into the Five Mafia Families and are a great addition. Amy McKinley does a spectacular job at mixing adventure, mystery, romance and spice. I know I will not be disappointed in book 6!

Collateral Damage: Collateral Damage is book 6 in the Mafia Elite Series. While each book can be a standalone, I highly recommend reading the other books in order before reading this one. Collateral Damage focuses on the love story of Trey La Rosa and a young woman named Hailey Carmichael. Trey has absolutely no time to find a woman as he is in his residence for becoming a surgeon and is also the Mafia's doctor. Trey recently lost his last girlfriend, and he is not looking to ever lose another person he loves. The two main characters meet at a function and Trey is slowly pulled into helping Hailey. As they continue to work together, his feelings grow enormous for her, and he is not willing to lose her for any reason. Amy McKinley never disappoints, and that is also clear in this book. This series is one of the best series I have read in a long time. There is an excellent mixture of spice, romance, and action. Her details on each man will make your mouth water. In the other books, Trey is on the outskirts, and I am glad that in this book we get a up close and personal look into his life

Rivals: This has taken my favorite spot in the Mafia Elite Series! While you can read this book as a standalone, I highly recommend reading the previous 6 books in the series. The story focus on Nico La Rosa & Mia Tucci.

It immediately sucks you in with an intense scene of Mia (daughter of the Mafia boss Joey, apart of the NY syndicate) being kidnapped by her own step brother, Ricco, and locked away in the rooms down under the Nightclub her family owns (that also holds women captive for sex trafficking). Nico La Rosa, the youngest of the La Rosa's, a member of the Chicago Italian Mafia and the Five Major Families, isn't looking for love, as he has very little emotional pull towards anyone that isn't his family, or his work (major hacker & computer whiz).

His life gets turned upside down when Mia finds him and proposes safety from her family in exchange for marriage and help in taking down the Tucci sex trafficking ring & the family line completely. While Nico is very cautious & weary of alternative motives, he has an intense pull and sensation to help her any way he can.

Will they end up being a loveless marriage, a business contract moreso than anything, or will they fall for each other harder than ether ever expected possible?

Taking down a Mafia family isn't easy, will they accomplish their goal? If so, at what cost?

Several twists & turns I definitely didn't see coming. Spice is present and moderate, but definitely enjoyable! I love reading from both of Mia & Nico's point of view!

Savage Secrets:

This book is yet another great addition to this series. This book ratchets up the intensity and pressure on our core group of characters. The Italian Mafia bosses and their spouses bring Elena Caruso back into the fold after a four year absence, which was done to protect her from the Russian Mafia. Mafia boss Marco La Rosa has loved Elena for years, but always kept his distance due to an arranged marriage that is no longer in play. Elena is a cousin to Max and Tony Caruso, but was raised as Tony’s adopted sister until the summer she disappeared and was presumed to be dead. The surprise twists and turns in this book will keep you guessing (though, perhaps you’ll solve it early, but doubt yourself until the reveal like I did) until the end. The best rule of thumb in this series, and especially this book, is not everything is what it seems to be. This book can be read as a standalone, but is so much better as a part of the series it belongs in.

Ruthless Heir

Luc is a business man used to getting his way, until he takes over a company and suddenly his money disappears. He quickly learns the mafia did it to get his attention, but not before he accuses the companies temporary secretary, Summer, who he slept with the night before he takes over the company. He soon discovers his mom, who abandoned him as a child, was a mafia princess from the Chicago Five Families, and that he is now the next in line to head the family. This is another amazing book by Amy McKinley that can be read as a standalone, but is so much better as a part of the series that it is a part of. This is the fifth book of seven, and I cannot wait to read the rest of them.

Collateral Damage

Yet another amazing entry into this series. I can’t believe that the next book is supposed to be the end. This book is great, and can be read as a standalone, but trust me, you won’t want to stop here. I can’t wait for Rivals to release later this year, as I never want to leave the world of these characters. I feel like they are family!

This book is about Trey, the doctor/surgeon to the Five Families of Mafia in the Chicago area. He is unexpectedly reunited with Hailey after he is brought in by her stepfather to investigate and hopefully solve her kidnapping. When the pair first met, Trey wasn’t in a good place mentally, and was definitely not in a place to want any part of a relationship with someone outside of “his world” of mafia families. Through trying to figure out Hailey’s kidnapping and what led to it, the couple gets closer and Trey realizes he can’t be without Hailey. My only advice is this: always remember, people aren’t always what they seem.

And if the passing references to Tony are a question by the author about rather readers of the series want to see more about him and see him get his happily ever after, let this review serve as a resounding YES! I never want to see this series end!

The final book in this series is just as great of a book as all the others. Amy McKinley is most assuredly becoming one of my favorite authors.

In this entry to the series, we follow Nico La Rosa as he finally finds his happily ever after, even if it’s not quite how he expected it. Nico is on a trip to his family’s home in the Caribbean, when Mia Tucci finds him unexpectedly…or rather, he finds her standing on the deck of his house pointing a gun at him as he returns from the beach. Mia proposes the idea of marriage for information on how to bring down a human trafficking ring that her father and “adopted” brother are running as part of their New York mafia family business. Nico agrees, but isn’t quick to trust Mia at first. Eventually, the two share more than just their own secrets, and work together with the Five Families to bring down Mia’s father’s trafficking business. Through everything, Nico finally finds his happily ever after, and Mia finally finds a loving family that will take care of her and protect her at all cost.

This boxset contains books 4-7. Book four continues the story of the Mafia Elite. This is Elena and Marco’s story. Elena’s been in hiding but it’s time for her to rediscover her friends and family. With Marco’s help Elena learns many secrets about her past, some including Marco.

This author has given us two more sweet and sexy characters who have their own secrets, their own desires, and their own special way of handling whatever the Mafia life throws their way.

I enjoyed this story; however, I didn’t find Elena the same kind of strength as the past leading female characters, you know, her friends, Sof, Lil, and Em. El is strong in that she survived a life of secret, hidden away from family and friends, she survived many things so her strength shows through in her determination. Marco, however, shows his strength and determination in finding and saving El, more than once and every time she needs him. This author can certain write strong and sexy male characters!

Book 5 which is Ruthless Heir is the next in the reading order and as always, I read this book in one sitting, this author has a way with storytelling that makes me what to read cover to cover. I love her mafia series and this story is no different. The characters, Summer and Luc can handle anything thrown their way. Which is exactly what brings them together. First by chance and then by another chance. This is a stranger to friends to lovers kind of story. And it is pretty perfect.

This is exactly how life moves. From one adventure to the next. Childhood to adulthood. Marriage to children to empty nest. What will be your next adventure be? What adventure will this author bring to Summer and Luc?

Collateral Damage is Book 6 and all I can say is welcome back to the Mafia Elite life! This story is about Hailey and the good doctor, Trey. Even though these two have met before and the timing was off, the spark was ignited within them both. And Fate began to work her magic.

I love how “innocent” Trey seems, like he doesn’t notice all of the nurses trying to be next to him or catch his eye. How sweet he is. He wants to save everyone. He understands he can’t but he sure tries to. Even Hailey needs to be saved.

Hailey will do anything to prove to her family she isn’t a waste, to prove she is worthy. She has a crappy family, a mother who doesn’t know she’s there and a step father who is sneaky and slimy. Hailey didn’t know she needed saving until her plan backfires. It seems the good doctor is ready to save the day.

As with the rest of the series this story should be read in order and while it can be read as a standalone, reading the other books will give you a better feel for the closeness of the family.

Book 7 is called Rivals and if you have been following along with the Mafia Elite series you will know that all of the books are intertwined with the others. The action begins in the very first chapter, so hang on. This author really knows how to get things started:

Mia is one tough cookie and has been a Mafia princess her entire life. But in the mafia, princess does not mean what you think it means. No birds singing, no rainbows. Mostly death, blood and betrayal.

Nico is a Mafia prince, son of the La Rosa family boss, Robert. His destiny is with the family. Life is not easy when you are in a Mafia family but happiness can be found. Sometimes in the unlikeliest of places.

This story is not for the faint of heart as there is Mafia mischief and sweet sweet revenge.

Over all this series is 5 stars with some stories and characters standing out a little more than the others.

Mafia Elite Series Box Set: Volume Two contains the last 4 books in this amazing series. What a bargain and what better way to have all 4 books available to read one straight after the other.

Savage Secrets Book 4 -

I have not read one book from this author that I have not thoroughly loved. I see Amy’s name and must get the book; it really is a no brainer. Her writing is addictive, and I am hooked. This is another explosive story for this wonderful series. The intensity and anticipation are palpable and just explodes of the pages. This author does dark mafia romance suspense like no one else. It is rife with angst and fear, violence and danger, darkness, and secrets, and lies. The complex threads that Amy weaves her stories, and her characters keeps you coming back for more. You will be riveted to the pages and find that hours have passed by the time you manage to pull yourself away.

She thought she had more time but now she is once again in the fight for her life.

Ruthless Heir Book 5 -

I am in love with this mafia romance series. Amy just keeps surprising me and when I think she can’t do any better she does. She always ups the ante with each book. You need to read the books in order, or you are missing out on sooooooooo much.
This book has it all making it a great romantic suspense story, with plenty of action and danger, violence and intrigue, murder and drama, secrets and lies, and let’s not forget the amazing sizzle factor and off the chart’s chemistry. I almost feel like I have run a marathon after reading this as. There are surprises around every corner, tension runs high, and the suspense is palpable.
This is Luc and Summer’s story, and they are great characters. They are complex and fully developed and oh so loveable.
I am not going to share anything because Amy’s gems need to be discovered all on their own.

Collateral Damage Book 6 -

I jumped for joy when I saw this next book in the Mafia Elite series and made sure to snatch it up immediately. Amy is one of my fav authors and there are not many books of hers that I have not read. I love her writing and she never lets me down. It is dark and gripping, intense and enthralling, suspenseful and thrilling, steamy and exciting. I really enjoy the unpredictability of not knowing what comes next, of always being on my toes and it is never what I expect.
Still reeling from a loss so deep Trey was not in a good place when they crossed paths. Now she is in danger. He knows he can’t leave her there; he has to help her but in doing so puts him in danger to.
Make sure you start this series from the beginning now: you won’t be disappointed.

Rivals Book 7 -

Nobody does a Mafia romance suspense like Amy does. It’s a no-brainer when I see Amy has a new book. Click and grab and I lose myself in her dark and delicious stories. Rivals is the seventh book in this amazing series. Make sure you start at book one and work your way through.

Mafia Elite Box Set Volume Two contains Books 4 – 7 in the Mafia Elite series by Amy McKinley. This rounds out the series, so if you have yet to read the first three books, or Volume One Box Set, then I highly recommend that you do before starting this, Volume two. Yes, the books could be read as standalones, but together they provide a richer reading experience, as well as painting a larger picture, one you won’t want to miss.
This is such a stellar series- which just gets better and better with each new instalment, and I really am hard-pressed to choose a favourite from amongst them all because they are all so brilliant!
The series, and this box set, brings fantastic mafia romance- romantic suspense at its best, with plenty of action, danger, drama, intrigue, mafia politics, chemistry, passion, steam, tension, emotion, hidden agendas, dramatic developments, and so, so much more.

I am completely addicted, and I can’t wait for my next fix!!!

Collateral Damage (Book #6):
I was so excited that we finally get Trey’s story. And what a story it is… WOW! Another fantastic addition to the series, and it’s getting harder and harder for me to choose a favourite because they are all sooooo good. We have met Trey previously through the series, as he is Sofia (Book #2) and Marco's (Book #4) brother. His family is ‘the mafia’. But Trey isn’t really involved in the family business on a day-to-day level as he is a doctor working in a local hospital. But that’s not to say he doesn’t ‘contribute’ when needed. Trey is called on to help out on a kidnapping – and becomes more tangled in the situation than he desired. Especially since he and the kidnapping victim have some pre-existing chemistry. Queue the sparks and sizzle. But danger lurks and things are not quite what they may seem. What happens makes for an exciting read.

Rivals (Book #7):
This is Mia and Nico’s story- and wow, you’d better buckle yourself in for this one. When Mia needs help, she turns to Nico for help… Nico is intrigued as she’s the ‘enemy’. There’s far more than their hearts at stake, and you know what they say about ‘no good deed goes unpunished’- so what happens here makes for quite a riveting read. You won’t want to miss this exciting story… but be prepared to develop a taste for Ms. McKinley’s stories. One book won’t be enough.

Seriously, if you love mafia romance, and/or romantic suspense, then you definitely won’t want to miss this exciting story/series!!!

Savage Secrets (Mafia Elite #4)
This is one of my favorite genres and I couldn’t get enough, it was over too fast for me. I was on the edge of my seat right from the beginning. I was excited to finally get Elena and Marco’s story. These two have had feelings for each other for years. But of course Elena was in an arranged marriage. But with a twist Elena ends up fleeing. When they learn that Elena is in danger, Marco goes looking for her. Will he be able to keep Elena safe?
Overall this was a great read with so many twists and turns. I believe this may just be my favorite of the series so far. It can be read as a standalone but I suggest reading from the beginning. I love love loved these two, they were perfect for each other in so many ways.

Ruthless Heir: An Enemies to Lovers Mafia Romance (Mafia Elite #5)
Summer meets Luc and has an amazing night with him. She is late to her job the next day, but when she meets her new boss she is shocked. Luc didn’t realize he would see her again so soon. Something happens that causes him to suspect Summer, and he refuses to let her leave his sight. Summer finds herself in the middle of a situation that could blow her secret and put her in grave danger. What will happen when her secret comes out?

We get twists and turns and several secrets. Summer was such a great character, she was strong and exactly what Luc needed in his world. All of the characters added a great element to the story. I love how the wives rallied around Summer and supported her so well. The author does a great job of pulling you in with her writing.

Collateral Damage: A Second Chance Mafia Romance (Mafia Elite Book 6)
Hailey had originally met Trey at a dinner party but something caused him to walk away. We jump ahead and Hailey finds herself in a dangerous predicament. Trey is hired by her step father to find her after she has been taken. Trey finds Hailey and brings her to his home, there is something off about the whole situation and he refuses to let her leave until he figures it out. Having Hailey in his home is making his feelings stir again, there is something about Hailey that is different. The longer they are together the closer they become.

Will Trey be able to help Hailey? Will Trey drop his walls and let Hailey in?

Overall this was a great read. There are several unexpected twists and turns. I loved her best friend but he also got on my list for ghosting her at times. All of the wives were great, I loved how quickly they brought Hailey into their circle.

Rivals (Mafia Elite #7).
I really liked Mia and Nico’s story. Mia was a very strong character and when she needed help she went to Nico. Nico is smart and a very dangerous man, he is intrigued by Mia and agrees to help her.

What will happen when her father finds out what she has done? Will Nico be able to protect her?

Overall this was a thrilling edge of your seat read. It felt like there were several stories in one. Several twists and turns and a great cast of secondary characters. The connection between these two grew even hotter as the story went forward. There is so much going on your head will be spinning. The author does a great job with her writing and pulls you right in. If you're looking for a great series to read, 1-click and get started today on this one. I look forward to reading more from this author.

This author again kept me glued to her book. Not only is it well written, it grabs you in the first sentence and you just can't put it down. I love this series and the characters, Elena is one strong independent woman. The women of this Mafia are just as strong as the men. The fight is real for these characters. When all is read, you will find yourself wanting more. That is what makes this series so entertaining. I recommend you read this series in order, you won't want to miss any of it. No Spoilers Here!

Welcome to the Mafia Elite and the 5 families who run it. This is Book 5 and involves Luc Savino and Summer Johansson. After a one night stand, decided by both. This couple's lives go down a different path. As Summer heads to work the next day to discover she has a new boss. The company she worked for as a sub, has been bought. Her new boss, well you need to read the book to discover who he is. I love this series! The women are just as powerful and their alpha males. The storyline is fast paced and will keep you reading. The rollercoaster you are about to board, will trigger all of your emotions. In the end, like me, you will want the next in this series NOW. This author never disappoints, and I am finding myself drawn to her and her books. Her stories are alway high energy and sure to keep you wanting more. This story is well written and the characters fit the parts they portray. I can't wait to get my hands on the next in this series. I recommend you read this series in order. Get to know the characters and follow the author along.

Trey La Rosa, hard working Dr. Plenty of looks to keep the woman's heads turning. He is also a member of the family mafia. While he keeps his job seperate from the family, he has no interest in finding a love interest. He had one but she had died, so he has buried his head in his work. Until….. Hailey Carmichael, never wanted anything but to belong. She lost her sister and father in a car accident, and her mother has turned her back on Hailey. Therefore Hailey is on her own. Until the day she is kidnapped…… That's all you get from me. No Spoilers! This is one of my favorite authors. You know the kind, where you drop everything to read the next book in the series. She did not disappoint with this one. This story is fast paced and high energy. Just when I thought the worst was over, I was wrong. I fell head over heels in love with this family and their wives. The female characters are strong and independant and the men are hot and steamy, oh and deadly. This is a must read!

I love the Mafia Elite series, following the Five Families. Each book focuses on a couple, and they are action packed. They are a good balance of romance and suspense. The characters are all wonderful, and I wish this was a TV series! Each book is well written enough that it could be a stand alone, but I don't recommend it. All the characters overlap, and all the books are ah-mazing. So just read them all... for real. The Five Families are all married into each other, as the next generation of Chicago Mafia. The characters are great, and I love that the women are strong, independent women. They have an amazing support system for each other. At the same time, the men have a softer side that shows when around their sisters or wives. I love that the characters are strong and independent on their own, and when together they are even stronger.

Savage Secrets is a very fitting title for the 4th book in the Mafia Elite series. While the book mainly focuses on Elena and Marco, there is added details to the other family members along the way.

Ruthless Heir is the 5th book in the series. I was a little confused at first how the characters fit into the story, as neither seemed to be related. However, it all came together and turned out to be another great addition. There were a couple of parts that made me laugh out loud. The chemistry between Luc and Summer was strong, and I love how they fit into the couples from the Five Families.

Collateral Damage is a great book just like all the others in the series, HIGHLY recommend. This book focuses on Trey and Hailey, alternating point of view. I like that Hailey is a normal girl, not born into the Mafia, yet fits in perfectly into their lifestyle. Trey is not one of the bosses, but still involved, serving as their doctor, and the little brother to the new Boss. He is very sweet and reasonable, understanding Hailey and her feelings, and giving her time to explain disagreements. There were some surprises along the way, with some of the supporting characters (read to see what I mean). I wish there was more closure with Justin, I felt like a lot was left hanging when it came to him. I also hoped for some peace between Hailey and her mom, but still did not take away from the book, just wishful thinking.

Rivals is the latest book in the Mafia Elite series, and it was ah-mazing, just like all the others. This is one of my favorite series and am sad that it is likely coming to an end. Mia is a character I kind of forgot about, as she is part of the New York mafia families. Most of the series focuses on the Chicago Five Families, and Nico is part of that group. Their story is slightly different from the others, in that the main characters didn't know each other growing up. They meet for the first time when Mia pulls a gun or Nico and soon after, negotiates their marriage. The build of their relationship is a good story, and has a couple twists and turns along the way. I love the bomb dropped toward the end, changing the course of action. There is justice served and everyone gets what they deserve.

Now this is a box set you just don’t want to miss. Mafia romance that will keep you glued to your Kindle. These stories are full of drama, action, and romance with that perfect touch of steamy. These are just a couple of the stories in the set. They are incredible. You’ll find yourself feeling all the emotions on this ride…
Collateral Damage:
Trey and Hailey’s story, one of my favorites in the series, has brought out the emotions as I’ve read it. This story will have you riding the emotional roller-coaster as Trey is the mellow, doctor, brother of Marco, Nico and Sophia. He gets to fix up the injured and he works as a surgeon at the hospital. Hailey has a naughty side and gets herself caught up in a big problem at the hospital. Trey rescues her but there are still big issues. Plot twist that noone sees coming. This author writes phenomenal stories that have you feeling the action, drama, mystery, romance, all of it like you are right there. It’s the only series that I yell at the characters in the book like I yell at the TV. I am so engaged that it makes the book a winner for me and that’s how it has been the whole series. The characters are so full of human personality and quirks that they feel real and you can empathize with them. The plot flows smooth, no chop, even with going back and forth between characters. The story feels so real One of my favorite authors because of the fact that she can keep you engaged all the way through. I would give it more than a 5 if I were allowed. It will be on my Best of 2022 list.
Rivals:
A truly bittersweet moment has been had. I have had the pleasure of reading this series from the beginning to what is now the end. The story of the Five Families, aka The Chicago Mafia, has now been told in such a manner that you feel like you are leaving close friends. The main characters in ‘Rivals’ are Nico La Rosa and Mia Tucci. Unfortunately, I cannot share a whole lot with you because it just gives away too much. The author grabs you right from the start. Each book basically picks up where the last one left off. In this book, we also get to visit with everyone except Max and Luc (and their wives) as they were in Italy. Everyone else played a pivotal role in helping Nico and Mia take down the New York Tucci and Amata family. There are moments that will live in your mind such as Mia meeting the other wives and she’s told that they will love her, but they will have no qualms at killing her either. My favorite are the quiet moments between her and Nico. They are tender and romantic in a chaotic environment. The plot just stays right on task with a twist thrown in here and there, and it just comes right back. This author is extraordinarily talented and her writing is also. Her female characters are strong and courageous. This series is one that I recommend to all my friends that love romantic suspense and Mafia. Hot, steamy and fantastic! It would get more than 5 stars if I could give them.

The Mafia Elite Series Box Set: Volume two contains books 4-7. Each book can be read as a stand alone but contains the same cast of characters with each book focusing on a different pairing of main characters. Every book sucks you in from the first page to the last. You will never be disappointed as each book is a different story line with action, plot twists, romance, danger, and well crafted characters that are not carbon copies of one another. Absolutely one of my favorite series and I highly recommend the Mafia Elite series. With this box set you can binge read the following four books.

Savage Secrets, Book 4- Born and raised a Mafia Princess Elena knows that in order to survive she must always be looking over her shoulder. A new life under a new identity that cost her cutting all family ties. It is years before her cover is blown. To stay alive she must return home to the world she ran from. Marco believes the only woman he ever loved is dead, but learns she is very much alive. For how long? Marco must be quicker than the enemies in getting to her or she will truly be dead. Marriage for protection of her life is arranged.

Ruthless Heir Book 5- Luc has worked hard for what he has from the ground up. Becoming the heir to the Brambilla mafia wasn't something he planned on, but he didn't shy away from the opportunity once it presented itself. Summer is on the run and trying to survive under the radar. It is with a few drinks that she finds herself with Luc for a one night stand. At least that is how it started. Romance, danger, and the mafia? What could be more tempting to read about.

Collateral Damage Book 6- Surgeon and mafia man Trey La Rosa is the main male lead of this story line. After losing a lover from outside of his criminal world he finds himself hard pressed to be in love with another woman. Hailey daughter of the woman that owns the hospital where Trey works finds herself walking the line of the dark side. Out to get her step father for his misdeeds against her mother and the children’s wing finds herself kidnapped. Working with the hot doctor to follow the missing money eill Hailey find the answers she seeks? How dark and twisted will her world become involving the mafia doctor? Will Trey find his true love and happiness with Hailey?

With every story, including this one, the author manages to captive you with a different scenario of the same mafia world. This is another amazing mafia romance and sports the enemies-to-over trope with the tale of Nico and Mia.

Mia, mafia princess from New York, is in trouble and the person she has chosen for help? Nico la Rosa an underboss of a Chicago mafia family, aka the enemy. Will Nico be able to look past the title of enemy to protect Mia and help her take down her own family?

Loved these books!

#7:

I don’t understand how these books keep getting better & better. Everything single time a new one comes out, sign me up! While there are slight similarities between the books for obvious reasons, each and every book is different. Different situations and life stories. I don’t know how she does it. Literally 🤯 = me. All I truly know is that in previous books we have seen glimpses of Nico & Mia, and we don’t really know who either of them are. Nico we’ve seen a bit more, but I like that they both flourish and develop naturally in this book. I truly hope this isn’t the end of the road! Maybe some sequels or spin offs of the current Chicago families would be nice. However honestly anything Amy McKinley writes will be amazing!

A great story of the underdogs finding their way survive and come up on top! I loved that aspect of this book. It was refreshing! What starts off as a whoopsie, ends up being one of the best decisions Summer & Luc make! It starts their angsty and steamy roller coaster of a ride. In the beginning there’s tons of mistrust and secrets, but with time they see the truth and gain trust. Many curveballs and surprising moments. In the end everything happens to a reason and everything plays out as it should. Summer is welcomed with the wives & family and clicks with them instantly like she meant for that life all along!

What did I think? This was a steaamyyy savage love affair!

Firstly the glossary of who’s who on the first page… chefs kisses! I have not read any of the previous books and was worried I would be lost but luckily wasn’t! I loved that you get both perspectives of the main characters POV. This made it easy to follow, and loved to see how they both were truly feeling. I like that we got to be in both of their heads! This book was filled with hellaaa spicy moments, lotsss and lotsss of plot twists, and roller coaster moments. It had me on the edge of my seat and with the popcorn ready! I could not put this book down to save my life!

Overall a really great read, and I can’t wait to read more in this series!!

Nico La Rosa fills that need and more, he just doesn't realize it... yet. When Mia offers him information to take down her father's illegal schemes hinging on them marrying, he's not sure he can pass it up. Will he take the plunge and make her his, in order to take down an evil mafia boss? Or instead, will he find that she is the perfect match for him?

This series is AMAZIING!! I have loved each book. The way the author writes about these people, it seems like they are very real, and their lives could be playing out right before my eyes. The relationships, the love, and their commitment they all have with each other, and their families are how I feel life should be. Pick this series up... you will not regret it!

A fantastic box set of the second half of the wonderful Mafia Elite series! Each of these books is amazing and all are 5 star reads! I 100% recommend these books!!

Savage Secrets

Yet again another fantastic read from this author. I don’t think I will ever tire of reading her stories they always grab my attention from the first page until the last. There was honestly so much going on in this story I was definitely on the edge of my seat at times. I loved Marco and Elena’s story; it was fantastic to read. I really loved Elena, with everything she had to contend with she showed such strength of character when faced with danger. Marco has this wonderful mafia dark broodiness to him and the fierce protective side which I loved! He’s definitely swoon-worthy!!

What an amazing read but I shouldn’t be surprised considering this author is the Queen of Mafia romance reads!! I loved Luc and Summer’s story and I am definitely going to say this is by far my favourite from this author – everything about it was just perfection! It was exciting to read, the characters grabbed my attention from the very beginning. There was passion and chemistry galore – it was just a phenomenal read – it really was. I was on the edge of my seat on more than one occasion and literally didn’t put the book down once I had started it.

Oh what a story! I don’t know how this author does it – every single story she writes is just amazing, nothing is repeated, no two characters are the same and they are always amazing reads! Trey and Hailey’s story was just fantastic from start to finish – it had everything I’ve come to expect from this talented author and more. I’ve been waiting for Trey’s story for a while and it didn’t disappoint. I loved the chemistry between him and Hailey – after everything he'd been through he definitely deserved his happy ever after. I say this a lot but I definitely feel like this one if one of my favourites from this author so far and definitely my favourite form this series!

Rivals

Another fantastic 5 star read from this author! This might be the seventh book in the series but it can be read a standalone however I would highly recommend reading the books in order. This was Mia and Nico’s story and what a story it was! The chemistry was there between these two characters almost instantly but as with all mafia romances things aren’t as simple and clear cut as they are meant to be! I loved that Mia wasn’t your usual naive heroine – she was feisty and happy to stand up for herself!
This was a riveting read and one that had me hooked from beginning to end.

I personally wish I could give this book 10 stars, I have loved absolutely everything in this series and while this was the fourth installment it did not disappoint. I have now read several things by this author and I am in love, she quickly become one of my top authors and I can't wait to read more by her. But this mafia romance series is personally my favorite. Once again she brings back our favorite characters, and brings in some amazing new ones. The plot is a crazy emotional roller coaster ride, and what could be better then an enemies to lovers troupe? Elena and Marco have always been attracted to each other, but since Elena is arranged to marry someone else aren't their hands tied? But their might be a chance for Elena to escape and make a new life for herself, buy what will happen when she succeeds and Marco has to find her before she's killed? Will Marco be able to save her? Will they get to be together in the end? You'll have to read this amazing story to find our for yourself. I personally can't wait for more.

This is the fifth of installment and I incredibly wish that I could give this book more then five stars. Like the previous four installments this book is full of romantic suspense, intrigue, mafia politics, tension, chemistry, and so much more that you will be gripped from page one until the very end. Much like the other books this book’s couple had their issues, but the tension between them was so great that I couldn’t put it down. This book really follows Luc and Summer through their whole relationship but will they finally get the happily ever after they deserve? You’ll have to read this fantastic installment to find out.

Our favorite author has done it again. This is the sixth installment to this wonderful series and just like the previous installments I couldn't put it down. Full of action, drama, plot twists, and of course romance, this author blows me pit of the water everytime. While I have read this entire series, this book can be read as a standalone. However I must admit that this aeries is so great that why stop at one when you can read the whole series.

Our favorite author has done it again. This amazing novel is the 7th installment in this wonderful series, and per usual I simply could not put it down. While this novel can be read as a stand alone just like the previous six, I would highly recommend reading the whole series because it's just that amazing. Full of suspense, drama, action, romance, and more this novel is by far one of the best books I have read all year. So whether you’re looking for a great new mafia romance or your looking for a great new series, make sure you read this book next.

Savage Secrets (Book 4): When I first started reading this series, I couldn't wait to hear Elena's story. I knew from the beginning that it was going to be a good one. I have to say that it did not disappoint. Elana and Marco were childhood friends that cared about each other, but that turned to enemies when they were teenagers. Now circumstances have changed, and they end up in a marriage contract that is necessary to prefect Elena's life. The question becomes will their secrets tear them apart, or will they trust each other enough, so that they both can survive.

Ruthless Heir (Book 5): Summer is on the run from the mafia after her best friend was murdered. Luc has worked hard for everything that he has required in his life and businesses, but when Luc buys the company that Summer is working at, he ends up thinking that she is a mole. He can see that she is hiding something from him. When Luc finds out that he is the heir of one of the top mafia families, will it ruin everything he worked so hard for? How will Summer react, and will she be able to trust him to keep her safe?

Collateral Damage (Book 6): I have been following this series since the beginning, and while I am dreading that we are running out of mafia men. I know it will be coming to an end soon, and this saddens me! While I have my “favorite” characters there has not been one bad book in this series, I have loved every single one of them. This book follows the story of Trey La Rosa and Hailey Carmichael. I have wanted to read Trey’s story from the beginning, and I was not disappointed. Hailey comes from an affluent family and feels used by most people because of it. She has also had a hard time after losing her father and sister in a car accident years earlier. Trey is an amazing surgeon who tries to maintain the mafia life and gets experience working in surgery so that he is ready if his family ever needs him. You won’t want to miss this book, especially if you have been following this series.

Rivals (Book 7): Nicco and Mia are both a part of the Italian American Mafia in the United States. Nicco is an underboss in Chicago, and Mia’s family is from New York. Mia has learned about Nicco’s and his family's lives through her mafia studies in New York. When Mia’s mom dies, she realizes that she needs to protect herself, so she makes a plan. Her plan involves taking down her own family for their crimes, but can she get the help and protection she needs from Nicco and his family?

This is a brilliant series and I highly recommend:

Savage Secrets is the 4th book of the series, I have read all the books in this series so far and have nothing but praise for them. In this book we finally meet the elusive Elena, who has been presumed dead for a number of years. When the threat that made her leave initially finds out that she is still alive, boss Marco is sent to retrieve her. When reunited the pair get to know each other again, without a pesky arranged marriage in the way. I really like how strong the female characters are in this series, Elena especially has her own very valuable skill set that she can use to protect those she loves.

Ruthless Heir - I think this was one of my favourites in the series so far. Each book in the series follows a member of one of the main 5 Chicago Mafia families and the nice difference in this book is that Luc doesn’t know he is part of the elite, through the mother he never knew he is the rightful heir to one of the 5 families. A successful businessman in his own right, he is surprised when he is forced to go to Chicago to discover his true heritage, taking his reluctant assistant Summer along with him. Summer is on the run from her past and doesn’t want to get involved with anything to do with the mafia but finds protection in the strangest of situations. I really liked this book, there is lots of action, strong female characters and interesting storylines.

Collateral Damage - In this book Dr Trey La Rosa is tasked with finding the kidnapped stepdaughter of a colleague, but it is not as straight forward as it may seem at first. Trey and Hailey need to work together to find out her stepfathers true intentions. I liked this book but feel it was a bit short, I would have loved more!

Rivals - This book is the story of Nico and Mia. Mia, after escaping from the clutches of her twisted family tracks down Nico for help and in return she will give him the information that he needs to take down her family. I really enjoyed this book, I loved the dynamic between the two main characters but the main thing I really like is how the men in these stories treat the women as equals, fighting side by side rather than being left at home while the guys do all the fighting. The female characters really make this series for me. Cannot wait to get my hands on the next book!

Savage Secrets-book 4

Another great installment in this series! The title says it all...it is chock full of secrets. I loved trying to figure them out while reading. This book is an easy, interesting read and I easily wanted to finish it in one day. I struggled putting it down because I was very interested in Elena.
She has been a secretish character in most of the series.
She is full of crazy skills, charm and smarts. She is my favorite character. Marco is the normal possessive mafia guy, who has his own secrets, and I did like him but Elena and her story took the lead.

Ruthless Heir-book 5

What I loved about this one the most? We got introduced to two completely new characters. In past books we had an inkling of who and what they were about. This one is such a surprise! I zipped right through it! Entertaining, dangerous and full of characters we have come to love!

Collateral Damage-book 6

Another wonderful installment in this series. I did not love it as much as the previous ones simply because Trey isn't a boss or underboss he is only a brother. So some of the things he did and was privy to in here seemed above his pay grade. I understand that it is a close family but when all the boss' meet I don't remember him being there in previous stories. Trey has always come off as a doctor first and it seemed like he only fixed injuries for the Five Families. In this book we get to see another side of him. There is one scene when Trey goes into Protective mode…Me-OW…I loved that scene for two reasons. First I did not think Trey had it in him to go all alpha dominant male and secondly that was so sexy!

Rivals-Book 7

What a Story!! I love reading this series! I can't get enough! The storyline is fast paced and the characters are smart, sexy and have wonderful chemistry. I enjoyed meeting Mia. She really has that spunk and stamina that surprised me a time or two. The male MC we have jot seen a lot of and I actually grew to like him. He has no plans for love or marriage. I loved watching his turn around as he discovers all consuming love.

This is 820 pages of pure mafia bliss. Sexy and possessive men, strong sassy ladies and all the action you can handle. I highly recommend this series and this book!

Savage Secrets is book 4 in the Mafia Elite series and can be read as a standalone but having prior knowledge of all of the other characters leading up to this definitely makes it even more enjoyable.

Elena has been in hiding for the last four years, leaving everyone to believe she is dead. Until one day when Marco, a man she's loved for years shows up to bring her home and back to the family. Will they be able to save her before the Russian Bratva finds her? You'll need to read to find out!

Ruthless Heir:
Ruthless Heir is the 5th installment in the Mafia Elite Series. Though it can be read as a standalone, you'll want to read every single one as you learn more about each character and family member involved in this series. As Luc Savino learns of his role to play in the Brambilla family, his world is tossed around with his new executive assistant/one night stand. Secrets start unraveling. As always, I am looking forward to the next installment

Savage Secrets
Yet again this author has produced a fantastic story that pulled me in right from the start. I never hesitate when it comes to this author, I just pick the book up and start reading. For me this book highlights exactly why. It was exciting to read with such interesting characters right at it's centre. I was hooked on their story and really felt like I was taken on their journey.
This whole series has been amazing so far and with each book it just keeps getting better. I cannot wait to see what will be next.

I honestly cannot ever get enough of this author. Every book she writes just seems so effortless and flawless. This book is exactly why. It is exciting and fast paced and full of off the charts chemistry. From the first page I knew this book was going to be amazing. The characters were so engaging. I felt the chemistry between them so vividly, it coloured every single interaction.
The writing was so captivating. The author really knows how to grab your attention and not let go. This is such an incredible series that just gets better with each book and I can't wait to see what comes next.

I could not wait to get my hands on this boom to start reading. The next in an incredible series this book is just as amazing as each one before it. I was pulled straight in with no effort whatsoever and finished the entire book in one sitting. I could not get enough of these characters or the story. This author has such an effortless was of completely captivating me with everything single thing she writes. This book is just as dark, intense and utterly exciting as the rest of the series and I cannot recommend this book any more!

My favourite Mafia Series
This is Volume Two of the Mafia Elite Boxset. I have loved every single book in this series.

Book 4 - Savage Secrets
The brilliance continues. If you haven’t read the first three books in this series, please do so. This series needs to be experienced as a whole. Each book focuses on an important couple within the family. This is Marco and Elena’s story who both have secrets and a past that threatens their future. The author makes me feel so connected with each of the characters. Each book has just blown me away and this one was just as amazing.

Book 5 - Ruthless Heir
This book brings in Luc and Summer. Each has their baggage and must face the trials of their past. The action, drama and romance is off the charts. With old and new characters this book doesn’t miss a beat. I devoured every page and at the end I just wanted more.

Book 6 - Collateral Damage
Mafia mayhem continues with book 6 of the Mafia Elite series. With strong alpha males and equally strong females, this whole series has gripped me from the start. In this book we get Trey’s story. We have met him in book 2 as Sophia’s brother. He has been mentioned a few other times and along with his brother Marco. This family, being mafia, has several people gunning for them. Trey has his hands full but once he meets Hailey, all bets are off. The author brings a brilliant twist to this second chance romance. A must read!

Book 7 - Rivals
Mixed emotions
What a ride! Rivals is the 7th book in the Mafia Elite series and is the last. I have loved every single book in this series. Each pair of characters has become like family and I am so torn now that it is over. Happy to see that there will be a spin off series and that I can still catch up with the Five families in these books. This book us Nico and Mia’s story. Both characters have appeared in previous books. As always, action abounds, along with drama and some stolen steamy moments. It’s everything I have come to expect from this excellent author.

Recommend reading the whole series starting from Volume One!

In Savage Secrets this is the continuing story of the Elena Caruso and her Italian Mafia Family. In the last book Elena has been in hiding for a long time and the secret is out that she is still alive. There have been so many changes in the Family that she can hardly keep up. Chicago Mafia Boss Marco La Rosa has been roped into an arranged marriage with Elena and he's all for it but he has to convince her and keep her from getting killed. Elena has secretly been in love with Marco but he had been with the love of his life but she had died several years prior. He didn't think he could ever love again but Elena has changed that. Their chemistry is electric and if they can both stay alive they may actually make an arranged marriage work! Read Savage Secrets to find out if Elena survives! Collateral Damage is the 6th addition in the Mafia Elite Series and its just as good as the others! Its Trey's story and he's the doctor of the family. He actually has 2 jobs, 1 Dr for the hospital and also Dr for the mafia. Trey is still mourning the death of his girlfriend so he's not in the market for a girlfriend. Hailey has had a crush on Trey for years but it never seemed to work out. When Trey realizes Hailey has been kidnapped he decides he's going to save her. He doesn't want her to go thru what his girlfriend went thru. When he saves her and they begin to try to figure out who and why she was kidnapped they realize they have more in common than they thought. Can Trey get over the loss of his girlfriend to trust Hailey to try and make a relationship work? Can Hailey even as strong as she is deal with the Mafia? This is a great romance/mafia read! I can't wait This series is amazing and I highly recommend reading it!

I am always so excited when I discover a book I haven’t read by this author and I don’t think there is a book I’ve ever disliked. I tend to read stand alone series out of order by mistake so the idea of this boxed set was truly appealing. Each book in the Mafia Elite collection is better than the last
and I really loved Collateral Damage.

Ruthless Heir
I have really grown to be a big fan of this author, or so I thought. It wasn’t until recently that I stumbled across this series. I was happy to learn that even though I picked up several books in, it was easy to follow along the storyline. It read well as a stand-alone. I would be curious to read more from this series and learn more backstory from supporting characters. I felt like the writing is really strong with a fast storyline. Of all things, Summer was my favorite part of this book. She is a strong, likable character. I would definitely recommend this book to others and I look forward to
starting this series from the beginning.

I was really looking forward to reading this book and as of right now, I would call it my favorite in the series. I was really looking forward to read more about Trey, I feel like he is such a multidimensional character with all he’s been through and I have a soft spot for him. I feel like the medical/surgeon aspect has not been done in many (or at least any I’ve read) Mafia novels. As a nurse myself, I’m always drawn to plots or characters involving the medical field. As much as I loved Trey, I feel that Hailey is just as strong and relatable as a character. The book (or series) is a must read. Never short of excitement, strong characters and a stronger plot. I’d strongly recommend this novel.
