Uneven, never great, a real disappointment given Cable's potential at the time.

Sinsear (Cable #5). An assassin sent back from the Apocalyptic future is a great premise, but this is a dull fight that mainly serves to set up the Tolliver mystery [2+/5].

Fathers & Sons (Cable #6-8). This is the arc that creates the modern origin of Cable as the true son of Scott and Madelyn and the source of the Stryfe-clone. In doing so, it reverses some of the more shocking reveals of X-Men: X-Cutioner's Song, whi

An interesting collection of stories. We learn a lot about Cables history and ties to the Summers clan in Fathers and Sons. We have a great story featuring Omega Red, the Acolytes, and Colossus, which was a solid read. And we finish off with some more history of Cable being unveiled by Belasco as Cable and Lee Forrester team up.
All in all this collecting has some great artwork (i didn't really know the artists names, so that was a pleasant surprise), and all of the stories are quite good! Defini

I have mixed feelings about this volume. The first arch, that FINALLY clarified Cable as Cyclops' son, and Stryfe as the clone, was good. And the Omega Red/Acolytes story worked better than I expected. But then a weird story in Flordia and Limbo (can't decide which is worse). I hope Fabian Nicieza comes back to the book soon. 3.5 stars

The book begins to develop the Future/Present Cable mythology, as well as featuring the classic 'Father/Sons' story arc. There's also Omega Red, the Acolytes and Belasco. 6 out of 12

Marginally better than the first collection. This one shined a bright, sunny clear spotlight onto some dark and dusty corners of Marvel Universe. There's all this stuff in Cable's history that I knew that had happened but I'd never experience first-hand in detail. So that was pretty cool. We finally get the Scott and Nathan Summers reunion that sure took it's own sweet bad-ass time in happening.

The story-telling is overly convoluted and muddy. The art is nothing exceptional, terrible by today's

Okay, objektiv betrachtet hat dieser Comic wohl nur drei Sternchen verdient, aber ich kann mir nicht helfen. Er hat halt den Nathan-Bonus.
