I've been reading a lot of science books that I just "inherited" from another teacher that I can use in my classroom next year. They're all pretty new. Every time I've read one about matter I haven't liked it that much and I've decided that it has nothing to do with how it is written, but the actual content. Apparently, I don't find states of matter, chemical reactions, etc. that interesting to learn about.
The format of this book is great. I like the question and answer format. Simple, easy for kids to understand, and great illustrations and diagrams.
