Exotic/ Relaxing / Sanitary / Spiritual... Since ancient times bathing in Japan has offered spiritual contentment through the purification and cleansing of the physical body. Best pictures ever. Not in a creepy way, they are just funny. It pretty much does its job and tells you how, if you need to know or if you don't, to take a Japanese bath.
One can finish reading this in a single sitting, and the book is so short that it doesn't even have page numbers.
That being said, it's a very useful reference for Japanese bathing etiquette, with not a single word wasted.
Also interesting to note is that the artist, Suehiro Maruo, a noted author within the eruguro genre, and has authored such things as Shoujo Tsubaki, an infamous work whose graphic violence and sexuality rivals that of De Sade's.
I came across this is the book store and read it with a smile, put it down and left. 😌♨️ Simple book with classic Japanese drawings that provides readers with interesting and enlightening information about the meditative and cosmic book bliss that one can achieve in a bath.
