I found this book fairly useful for ideas on planting an herb garden. Lots of useful suggestions and how-to instructions. I only wish that some of the projects listed within could have had some visual directions since building your own cold frames and hot beds are potentially some troublesome projects that might need more specific visual clues. Still, a great guide to herbs and how to grow, harvest, and utilize them.

I love this book. I especially loved the chapter on Using Herbs in the Home - how to make dried flowers, potpourri, tea, sachets, etc. I also liked the section on numerous herbs and how the author grows and uses them. This is a nice book to have on hand if you're a garden lover. Lots of useful ideas and suggestions.

I loved this reading, very pratical for people who have a need for pratical knowledge and not looking to have a designer yard. I have eight acres that are raw, I look forward to using the idea and knowledge in this book. In fact I am buying it for reference purposes.
