Claimed by Monsters: Complete Series

Monstrous. Dangerous. Broken. And completely devoted to me.

In a world where fae are hunted by vampires, disguising my true nature is a matter of survival. That’s why I’ve spent the past several years pretending to be human, even dating a human guy.

But after finding out that Mr. Jerkwad is cheating on me, I do the craziest thing I’ve ever done in my life. I go to a bar and leave with three stunning, mysterious men.

We spend one wild night together, and the chemistry between us is like an electric storm.

Maybe that’s because to them, this isn’t just a one-night stand.

All of these men are part fae, and they claim I’m their fated mate.

That should terrify me, especially since I can tell they’re each harboring dark secrets behind their gorgeous features. They’re part fae, but they’re part something else, too. Something wild, feral, and untamed.

But when a vampire mobster sets his sights on me, it may be that the only ones who can protect me…

Are my three monstrous mates.

This is the complete Claimed by Monsters series, an action-packed paranormal romance featuring a fierce woman and three damaged, sexy men.

A cracking trilogy of books in this series with characters i loved so much.

Bound to the Dark - book 1
Bound to the dark is a brilliant start to the claimed by the monsters series. After finding her boyfriend cheating Kiara finds herself 3 hot and willing guys (North, Cain and Raven) to give her one steamy night of fun. Only things dont go exactly to plan afterwards.

Kiara is smart and witty. I really liked her. The guys definitely steamed up my kindle!! Its a cracking read and that cliffhanger ending was just killer.

Captive of the Dark - book 2
Captive of the dark is the 2nd book in the claimed by the monsters series and it shows no sign of letting in the pace. Kiara (FMC) has more complications in this book apart from Donovan. One that threatens her and the guys - Raven, North and Cain. They all confront their growing relationship with plenty of sexy times. As well as talking about their backstories. Everything comes to a head with a cliffhanger ending.

Queen of the Dark - book 3
Queen of the Dark is the third and final book in this series. Kiara and her guys - North, Cain and Raven have their work cut out for them with all the complications Roanac brings and forging alliances with other Supernaturals. It was a brilliant conclusion with all the loose ends tied up perfectly.

I am DNFing this book. It had a lot of good potential and the two smut scenes were decent.

Why am I DNFing? Because 170 pages into it, and it is extremely repetitive. Almost every page is a recap of the following:

1. Kiara’s parents died when she was a child so she has trust issues and doesn’t think she could ever be with someone.

2. Because she was alone on the streets, she’s hid among humans and didn’t really acknowledge her fae side.

3. She doesn’t really trust the three men are her fated mates constantly thinks how it seems to soon for them to want to protect her.

4. She is annoyed that they seem to not fully trust her while she constantly says how she has to hide who she is and can’t open up to them.

On any page, Kiara will be thinking a combination of the above and she just cycles through those same thoughts continuously, with no growth almost two hundred pages in.

I’m bored - I get it. She has trauma she has to work through, but I don’t need her to have a mental conversation every page where she just repeats the above ad nauseam.

The book(s) took me a long time to get through, and I was pretty bored a lot of the time. There are some plot holes.

The FMC never tells the guys what she does for a living (burglar) but later refers/reminds them of the fact that she’s the thief of the crew like it’s common knowledge. Tbf the guys never say what they do for a living either, and are super cagey about it when asked, and throughout the books no one ever had to work because they were too busy dealing with Situations. It’s also never explained how the FMC learned hand-to-hand combat (or lockpicking, or burglary, or reading, writing, and arithmetic for that matter, as she was orphaned as a small child and is stated to have starved in the streets until she somehow taught herself to steal).

The characters make some pretty critical and avoidable mistakes throughout the narrative that keep the plot moving, and I really hate every time that happens. They attempt to make a deal with a villain in his home territory with no guarantee of their safety and predictably get captured right after handing over the thing they were trying to trade for their safety. They let the big bad drag the FMC away by her hair during a raid they instigated, then she nearly gets killed when they can’t get to her in time. They forget about the existence of an important Macguffin that would have helped them to infiltrate the big bad’s lair, even though they captured and imprisoned the villain who was in possession of it (while he was using it—he didn’t simply leave it at home where they couldn’t snatch it). None of their strategies to take on the big bad have any finesse or layers to them really, and it shows.

𝐓𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐬:
💫 Fated mates
🦋 Hidden fae heritage
🛡️ Protective heroes
🧛‍♂️ Vampires vs fae
🎭 Disguise / secret identity
⚡ Reluctant bonding

Claimed by Monsters pulled me in. Kiara’s story starts with betrayal, heartbreak, and a one-night rebound that accidentally becomes something far more powerful than she ever expected.

The chemistry between Kiara and her three mates, North, Cain, and Raven, is unreal. Each of them brings something different to her life: Raven’s quiet devotion, Cain’s teasing charm, and North’s steady protectiveness. Together, they balance Kiara’s sass, pain, and the layers of strength she doesn’t even realize she has yet. Watching her fight to trust again after everything she’s lost made me feel every ounce of her journey.

Sadie Moss blends the perfect amount of spice, humor, and heartache. There’s action, steamy tension, and those laugh-out-loud moments that make you fall in love with the entire found family dynamic.

If you love stories with protective men who would burn the world for her, and a world full of danger, secrets, and fae magic, this one’s for you.

I highly recommend the Claimed by Monsters box set if you’re looking for a Reverse Harem Romance with interesting Fantasy characters, spicy scenes and funny moments. I really liked getting to know Kiara and her men, Cain, North and Raven. I loved seeing Kiara grow as a character and seeing her love herself and love her men. Sadie Moss is a talented RH Romance author and if you’re a big fan of RH and Fantasy then definitely check out her books!

Entertaining & twisty

CLAIMED BY MONSTERS: THE COMPLETE SERIES Books 1-3 by SADIE MOSS: Mostly 5 stars
Overall an entertaining and enjoyable series, with characters that are interesting and relatable and a storyline that is action packed, and twisty. OTT s3x slightly distracted from the story - so I skimmed some. Also a few inconsistencies, but you have to suspend any sense of realty anyways, so just a blip…

Felt too long

This honestly felt like too long of a series. In page count it's actually fairly short, but the repetitiveness of it just made it seem long. I started getting bored halfway through. I didn't really feel much for the characters. They didn't speak to me or make me want more of them. They were kind of just there. Overall, thus just wasn't for me. I can tell that it'll most ,likely be a forgettable book and one I won't pick up again.

Way to fast paced. I'm a gamer and this felt like speed running a game. The entire trilogy is like 600 pages, but for the plot to make sense each book should have been 600 pages, so 1800 pages total. It's not well written, the story is all over the place and as previously stated way to fast. I get it's a romantasy but nothing about the story is believable. Only reason it gets 2/5 instead of 1/5 is that I actually didn't DNF.

It's a fun ride

It's a cute story but it lacks world building and transition scenes. If you like things that are right to the point without explanation then this is for you. I wish there had been more detail for many scenes. Overall it was a fun story

An RH magical adventure…

Can’t let the bad guy win ALL the time! And if she meets the love, support and protection of her mates along the way? Oh, yes! Sigh. 🥵🥰😍
