Desperation... ...a state of despair. ...a willingness to take a risk. ...a rash or extreme act.
In this continuation of the Talk to God Series, desperation perfectly sums up Camille King when her idyllic life with her husband, Stephen, is shattered and then restored. While she was dealing with infertility, Stephen was battling his own inner demons. When Camille learns about the million dollar "hush money" he gave to the beautiful and vivacious Patrice Fleming, she takes matters into her own hands and proposes a solution that benefits everyone involved.
As doubts about Patrice’s honesty resurface, will Camille finally learn the truth from the woman who has told nothing but lies since the beginning and embrace true forgiveness? Will Camille finally put her trust in God as she clings to the hope of becoming a mother?
Aries Langston, obstinate and assertive, is on the verge of being promoted to branch manager. After meeting restaurant owner William Banks, aka Bill, they become friends and eventually start dating. Her desire for marriage grows as their relationship progresses, but she must first persuade him to move to Atlanta. Will she succeed?
Teleah Moore (Scott) is an exceptional storyteller. She is a mother of three, an award-winning author, entrepreneur, and wife from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Brother: A Grief Story; Daddy, Why Did Grandma Leave; Lou, The Grief Dog; and G is for Grief: The ABCs of Coping with Loss are among Teleah's self-published children's books about grief and loss. She also wrote and published a memoir, Free to Grieve: A Mother's Memoir in Black and White, in which she detailed her teenage son's tragic and untimely death. Teleah employs her gift of writing as a powerful witnessing tool to help others overcome life’s formidable challenges. Her messages are centered on faith, hope, healing, and reconciliation.
I liked it and I'm happy for Camille and Stephen on becoming parents, but I'm side eyeing some characters AGAIN!! You know exactly who you are!!! Also, I found the excerpt in the beginning from the first book a little unnecessary and a little long winded, especially since these books aren't that long. All in all I give this 3.5 stars.
enjoyed reading these books, as long as i pray and as long as i trust 🤎 the characters were likeable and i loved seeing them find their way back to God in each individual’s journey. solid read, but has left me with a few questions that I really wanted to be answered in this book 🥲
I'm sorry but the only thing good about this series was they trust in the Lord. Their decision mad me made oh girl turned down a purpose for no reason to start dating a alcoholic. I almost dnf but I had to see what happened to the babies.

Book 2 follows on from book 1, I like how the book starts with the last chapter in book 1 to remind you of how the story was left.
We discover in this book why Patrice stole the money form Stephen, Stephen's business partner Gary finally get informed about the whole ordeal between Stephen and Patrice. Camille is still struggling with her desire to have a child and now that Patrice has decline the offer of being her surrogate, she is trying to come to terms of being childless . Patrice get sentenced and service 18 months in prison , how will she cope after losing the love of her life Gary? Aries who has commitment issue , finally agrees to a relationship with Bill, he is her dream man but will her insecurities allow her to fully commit to him?
This books is full or real life issues that allows you to rethink and examine life as a christian. as love as you trust in God he will make a way , where there seems to be no way . I loved reading this book and will definitely read book 3 (the final book in this series ) soon.
The 2nd book in The Series was full of drama, emotion and suspense. Camille husband Stephen was a cheater. His best friend and partner in business Gary finance set him up when he get drunk so she went to his room and pretend to sleep with him to frame him. Camille suspect her husband cheating but was unable to prove it until she went to dry cleaners and the owner hand she the receipt for one million dollars wife to Patrice. The doctor told Camille she was unable to get pregnant but when she went to the doctor to find out how to another woman egg, she found out she was pregnant. She have twin girls. But with all the lies that Patrice told Gary the trouble just began . Please read its a lovely Christian Romance story
The change in Patrice’s character was not unexpected because she’s trying to repent for her sins. However, I do empathize for the familial situation because that is such a horrible predicament to be in. I can understand why she did what she did, but only if she communicated, none of this would have happened. I feel as if the Kings are going to reap what they sow in book three. Personally, I could never do business with someone who (1) lies, (2) cheats and (3) steals. So Gary had every right to do what he needed to Stephen. I’m proud of Aries because she is standing up for herself and not leaping into a forever relationship without completing work on herself. I love that for her.
Reading about characters who are developing spiritually is refreshing
A few things
1. Because these book are so short, I don’t feel that the excerpt from book 1 is needed. It was way too long.
2. It was overstated that Stephen and Camille were wealthy and living in Buckhead. This fact didn’t add much to the story
3. The dialogue sometimes felt cliche and unnatural
4. Some scenes didn’t feel necessary and didn’t add much. In a longer novel this would be okay but since this is a novella, I expected more story development in place of some scenes
I was initially leaning towards giving this book two stars but didn't. I didn't enjoy it as much as the first book in the series. The idea of the wife wanting to befriend her husband's mistress seemed unrealistic, and it gets wilder, but I'll let you discover that for yourself! Given how short these books are, I don’t think the lengthy excerpt from book 1 is necessary. The dialogue often felt clichéd and unnatural, and I still dislike the AI narrations of this series. Additionally, some scenes seemed nonessential and didn't add much. In a longer novel, this might be acceptable, but for a novella, I expected more character development instead of some scenes.
2.5\5 ⭐s - I was leaning to give this book a two star but I coerced because of certain things that happened close to the end. I didn't enjoy this book as much as the first book in this series.
It didn't make sense the FMC would befriend the supporting female character after she did her family wrong. This is where forgiveness is big! God forgives us so we have to forgive those who wrong us.
If you are searching for an easy read without much weight in the storyline then this your read. Read it in 2-3 hours.
“As Long As I Trust (Talk To God Series - Book 2 of 3)” was a great read. However, Camille’s BFF Aries is/was an absolute idiot‼️…all the whining, prayers & pleading etc. to God for a specific blessing in book 1 that she’s discarded in book 2. Gurlllll WHAT⁉️Help me help you Aries because this shigitty 🤬explanation ain’t logical (with someone else’s brain)😮🥴🤦🏾♀️‼️ Prayerfully, the final installment of this series provides context, conciliation & common sense for a few ATL characters carnal declarations & reveal their purpose, motives & intent🫣😬‼️
Learning more about Patrice's storyline was interesting. My impression of her definitely change after reading book two. It really show the importance of communication and forgiveness. You never know what people are going through. Aries story also shock me. The only thing I did not like was the repetitive background story that was also v shared in book one. I feel like readers can refer to book one for that. Overall, this was a good read. Let's see where book three leads us.
Moore's storytelling is both heartfelt and engaging, drawing readers into the protagonist's struggles and triumphs. The characters are well-developed, making their experiences relatable and inspiring. The book's message about the power of faith and the importance of a personal relationship with God is beautifully conveyed. It's a must-read for anyone looking for spiritual encouragement and a deeper understanding of trust in divine guidance.
SO. Let's get into it! It's a solid 3.5. I rounded up. The book is good and interesting and I care about the characters which is great! I just think some things were rushed through! Also, listening in audible, sometimes I had to go back and listen again because I wasn't sure who said what...so sometimes few more "Bill said" etc. were needed. But I'm interested in reading the next book to see what happens!
The only thing I could say I didn't like was the recap from the previous book. However, this family continue to show how important haven't gotten in the middle of your life is. This story is a full reminder that you may have forgotten. God at some point in your life, but he hasn't forgot you, and all he wants is for you to acknowledge his presence and come to him.
I enjoyed the continuation of the series and seeing how the characters have continued to evolve . Quick and easy read but continues to keep the reader engaged. Love seeing how each chapter continues to pray and build on their relationship with God, while dealing with the ups and downs of life.
The author is very captivating, I'm mean you really get pulled in and keep wondering about the characters' next decision. My issue is with certain characters, but that is a good thing because that's how drawn in I am when reading this book. It's like a soap opera. Better than Days of our lives!
Although there was forgiveness & prayers answered, betrayal left someone hurt. There is still some reconciliations that need to be made. I never forgot that dream. I’m getting nervous. So I’m going in for book 3 hopeful for Aries, Bill, Gary, & surprisingly Patrice.
Aries and Bill’s relationship are so admirable especially how they met. I love how Camille relates her infertility to the Sarah and Abraham because I love reading biblical stories that connects to my life. You don’t know how happy I was when Camille got that amazing news. I love Aries choose herself first instead of a relationship.
God answers prayers! These characters are dealing with challenges that many couples deal with. Instead of throw ing in the towel, they turned to each other and to God!
I am glad I got all 3 books. Ms. Moore, all I can say is 4.
This book was very good and made me want to more. I don't want to spoil it for anyone, so READ THIS BOOK, and the next one..... Thank you, Teleah Moore! .
I have rated many books and although o didn't feel that all the recap of the first book into this book was necessary, the book was great and one of the first 5 star reviews I've ever given.
3.75⭐️ Powerful, faith-filled story from Teleah Moore. Camille and Steven’s journey kept me turning the pages—there’s a constant sense of danger lingering in the background, but their trust in God grounds it all. A mix of suspense and spiritual strength that really hits.
As Long as I Trust by Teelah Moore is the second book in the Talk to God Series. This book mostly focuses on Camille repairing her marriage and her journey to motherhood, and Aires finally finding Mr.Right. The ending for Aries caught me off guard. I wasn't expecting the plot twist, but overall this was an enjoyable read.
I loved the reconciliation and how God honored Camille's obediece and submission to Him. I did not like Aries breaking up with Bill. Hopefully in next book she has regained conmon sense!
Camille was happy in her marriage until she finds out truth about her marriage. In her marriage are many parties. For as much as she loves Stephan, can they come back from this. What Stephan has done for fun has impacted the lives of many others. But has he finally met a woman with a need that will cause his playhouse to tumble?
