Rate this book
SOMETIMES GHOSTS ARE WORTH DYING FOR.

When Tommy and Mai head to Paris on vacation, they are invited to a party in the catacombs under the streets of the historic city. It’s illegal yet irresistible for the young couple on the adventure of their lives.

There’s only one problem. The party is a front for something far more sinister, targeting the ghosts of Paris, the street youth society has abandoned.

When Archaeology Professor James Acton and his wife discover their friends have disappeared, they leap into action, calling in all their favors to discover what happened before it’s too late, and they’re lost into a dark underworld.

An underworld that has claimed tens of millions of innocents.

I had to get to the end of this book as quickly as I could. This book is so awesome. Full of action and suspense. Robert Kennedy has done it again!

I had skipped this one because I'm not a total fan of Tommy and Mai. This book changed my mind. Mai was kick-ass!!!!

Read this book in a day - I am a fan of this quick paced action thriller series and enjoyed this one as I always do. When Tommy and Mai head to Paris to celebrate their engagement little do they know that a night of adventure at a rage in the catacombs will lead to their kidnapping. Purchased in the sex trade, their lives are at risk and Professors Acton and Palmer engage all of their resources to save them.

Enjoyed the book, it built up to the climax fairly slowly (Which was fine) and then the finale to the story crashed in all of a sudden!

An absorbing story about human trafficking with a happy ending for the friends of the main characters in this series. A second subplot about young people being kidnapped and killed by an insane brother and sister comes across as a completely unnecessary sideline to the main story. There is probably some truth behind the plot and main villans in this story - the book certainly issues a warning "heads-up".

The series has just gotten to big that the first books covered secrets history lay this was just two stories been told together one a murder mystery lay the other felt like a ripe-off of the first Taken movie.

It is simply pure entertainment to read these stories, as improbable as some of the scenes may be.

Little far fetched. Good idea but too bare boned. Split between 1890's and today events. Current storyline just way too quick to be even halfway believable. But overall a quick fanciful read.

Book 36

Book 36 was an interesting read and was a bit different from the others. It was a bit graphic/ suggestive in parts, but overall fit.
