I am giving this three stars, which in my rating system doesn't mean it's awful. It means it wasn't for me, but I see the merit in the story that may appeal to others.
For me, I think this story is barely an Isekai of the otome subgenre. I think it would make more sense if she just had visions or maybe found her grandmother's "secret book of visions" and used that to inform her choices and used white magic to do the resetting.
That being said, there are some good moments in this. I wish the side characters outside of Lui (who receives a lot of screen time and I love her) got more time devoted to development.
One thing I can vouch for in this story is that it is not slow paced when it comes to the romance. It is also just one love interest, which I believe may be appealing to some who are interested in this sort of fantasy story.

A long and arduous road
With the cliffhanger ending of volume 1, I found myself a bit of anxiety entering this one. I was very frustrated that our heroin had to give up her sweetheart and restart her life again just before she got her 15th birthday baptism thing. I wasn't sure if she was going to try and improve things, sort of fight the system / destiny, but everything was just snowballing out of control. Part of me suspects it has something to do with that last spell she cast before the reset. Her final spell was using up all of her magic so that the spirits would purify and bless the world. The key being, the world. I can't help but wonder if that blessing might have fixed it in such a way that when time went backwards that blessing went with her... I think that might be why things are ever so slightly different and people are behaving differently. But that's just my conjecture. I am quite eager to hop into volume three. Practically binging these, I feel like I'm going to run out of books soon...

Still an interesting premise, but plot points still feel like they happen/resolve neatly and conveniently - Claire's Mesmerizing of Dion and Prince Oswald + Diana Mead's scheme were the biggest offenders for me.
I'm also wondering if there's more to the "save point" reload because Vik still caught feelings too fast for my liking in Claire's "second" life.
More a 3.5 for now. Will see how I feel when I read the 3rd volume.

interesting
So it’s the second book in the series and she basically goes back in time and rather than re-doing the whole thing over again and just changing a few things the entire story was changed. I kind of liked it that way. But now I wonder what’s happening in the third book. Love the characters!

It’s becoming more obvious that the prose is a bit weak—a bit simplistic and sometimes a bit boring. However the characters and storyline are still interesting and I wanted to see how everything turned out after the cliffhanger ending of book 1. I was entertained and glad that I had book 3 to start right away.

excellent story
At first, I wasn’t sure if I would like the restart. But the restart of the relationship was better than the first and how she learned from the past and didn’t make the same mistakes and as a result, everyone else was better because of it.
