This book is pitched perfectly both at those who don’t know anything about the climate crisis to those who are passionate about saving it. As someone that leans towards the latter, I find a lot of the information out there overwhelming and anxiety inducing. What this book does is highlight important aspects of the climate in an incredibly positive way and encourages you to really do your bit! As a side note the artwork is beautiful! A PERFECT GIFT ✨

I purchased Sam's book for my twelve year old son who is passionate about the environment but has been disheartened by the magnitude of where we find ourselves today. This book has given him, and us, so much hope and comfort in knowing that there are people working hard all around the world to make our planet happier and healthier.

Thank you, Sam!

I ended up skimming most of this because it couldn't hold my attention while I was sick, but I am so happy this book exists. There is nothing but bad news in the world lately, and it was nice to hear something GOOD for a change.

LOVED IT! It’s so refreshing to be able to read about the good that is happening around the world and to feel hopeful and inspired. The news is full of doom and gloom which means it’s SO important to showcase the good that is happening around the world.
This is carefully written, well researched and the illustrations are beautiful. It’s pitched perfectly so can be read by all ages. I loved that after each section there’s a “Steps you can take” for guidance on ways that us individuals can make towards a positive change.
I’ve followed Sam for a while on Instagram as I care about the planet and for me I want to feel encouraged and empowered to “do my bit” so when he announced he was writing a book I not only wanted to show my support but learn more about what is happening currently. I highly recommend this book and to follow him/subscribe to his newsletters. I love receiving his good new stories instead of the negative that we are so often faced with. THANK YOU!

This book is so good! There are SO many good things that are being done to help our planet that I found very encouraging. It’s so easy to get caught in the negative doom and gloom of the media but this was a refreshing reminder that there is plenty of good being done to help Earth. I learned so much! From goats helping prevent wildfires in California to electric sidewalk tiles powered by footsteps in Britain to floating solar panel park in Portugal there’s so much progress being made!

I’ve been following Sam for awhile on social media and was eager to get my hands on his book. I definitely recommend this book to everyone because we all need reminders that the world isn’t all bad. There are ‘Steps You Can Take’ pages listed after every chapter that give suggestions on what the reader can do to better their community too!

Watching or listening to the daily news can be depressing - all bad news or irrelevant news about some C list celebrity. Where is the good news!! Well at last there is a book full of a wealth of good news about all the great things that are being done by a whole range of people and organisations across the world to help save planet earth. Not only that but there are 100 very helpful and easy to read guides on all the things we can do to help fight climate change, save wildlife, live more sustainably to help make sure our planet is a safe and healthy place for us and future generations.
Every home/family should listen to or read Good News Planet Earth not only for their mental health but also for the health of our planet.

This book was a refreshing reminder of all the good being done for our land, oceans, resources, and people. I've often felt pessimistic about the pace of our mitigation/adaptation strategies when I learn about the damage that's already been done. But it's easy to forget to look back at how far we have already come. Sam has made it a point to tell us to hold onto hope and to take it a step further - to take action ourselves (no matter how small). I also marked certain sections that inspired me to start a bucket list of things I could do in my own household or groups that I want to eventually contribute to! I'll be referencing this book often for motivation :-)

I follow Sam on Instagram and absolutely love his content. It gives a nice, refreshing, warm fuzzy to days when it seems like everything is very negative.

This book is much of the same. It's a good read to pick up and see how people are trying to make a positive change in the world when the news seems to focus almost exclusively on what is wrong with the world.

Although I am sure it wasn't his intent (as I said, I follow Sam on IG), I did find the writing to be a bit sanctimonious at times, but, overall, I still highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking for good news and ways they can help make a positive impact on the world.

In a world full of doom and gloom, Sam does a great job highlighting positive ways people are creating change and bringing hope to a hopeless situation. If you're overwhelmed by the climate crisis, this book is for you. If you want to address the climate crisis, but aren't sure how, this book will spark the imagination you never even knew you had! Everyone should read this book!

Excellent in all respects: content is extensive, layout eases understanding as does the delivery. A must read for those of us who are not as aware as we should be of the key issues and amazing work that is underway around the world. Sam Bentley sparks reader's ideas, conversations, and more importantly action in big and small ways.

There were some interesting solutions out there to help save our planet - I especially like the body composting and tidal wave electrical generation. It feels good that we've already adopted many of the suggestions in our lives. Now, if I could just go vegan and stop flying......

Such a sweet book. I love how everything was so positive - only good things happening to help change the world! I also love how Mr. Bentley, the author, gave very easy, reasonable things for people to do to, as easy as following different groups/activists/initiatives on social media.

It was heartening to read about all the initiatives taken around the world to try and help the planet but a bit disheartening to read how few of them are in America.

I’ve been a fan of Sam for a while and was so pleased to receive this book and find it just as inspiring and thoughtful as his videos. This book is perfect for those who suffer from climate anxiety, those who are interested in the positive actions in the climate space and those want to know how to make a difference on a personal level. Each chapter contains information on steps companies and governments are taking to protect our planet and ends with a checklist of things the reader can do themselves. As a bonus the book is also beautifully and colourfully illustrated making it a real delight to read and also a lovely gift for family and friends!

What an incredible book! Since becoming a parent to my two children, my climate anxiety has reached high levels as I worry about the world they'll inherit one day. Whenever I attempt to seek out positive news online, I'm inundated with negative and alarming headlines predicting doom and collapse. This book is exactly what I've been searching for. It addresses the grave challenges we face but also highlights large-scale solutions already in motion, demonstrating the genuine care and effort many individuals are investing to create a better future. I particularly appreciated the actionable steps provided at the end of each chapter, offering tangible ways to contribute to making a difference. I highly recommend this book.
