This is a terrific read and an excellent contribution to what was once a DC Comics staple, the legacy character. Nitz eschews black-and-white characterization, writing sinners we can actually consider loving. The art of Phil Hester and Ande Parks is energetic and perfectly suited to this story. I also have to acknowledge that this book has one of the best latter-day uses of the Freedom Fighters.

A true atrocity as they take such a wonderful character and completely ruined him.

I'd like to give this 4.5 but that's not an option.
Really good, there were a couple points where it felt like they'd neglected to explain something.
