5 ⭐️ writing by lesbians for lesbians is so beautiful <3 i love lesbians and i loved this book! i found it in the queer lounge at my school and i'm so glad i did because i would not have heard of it otherwise. more lesbians should read this short story collection!
some stories were wayyy better than others, and could always be more diverse (intro letter) but overall, esp for the 80s, was a rlly good collection n enjoyed reading it to overcome office work boredom :)
Inspired to one day write some gay lil short stories
this book was fantastic. I rate it 4 stars, because of how drastic the quality of writing differs from story to story. I really enjoyed myself, and felt very seen. ill be recommending this book to many of my friends, and hoping they ignore the massive amounts of underlining I did. :-)
I have a difficult time reviewing collections of works by multiple authors. I'm having extra trouble with this once since it's been so long since I started reading it.
I'm pretty positive this is the book I picked up in July 2011, when I was nearing the end of my time in England. I was off to see a play in London (The Cherry Orchard) and there was a stand for someone selling books. I can't resist that sort of thing!
I also seem to have a sixth sense for lesbianism, so if it's mentioned of there's a book or anything to be found, I tend to find it. In a huge collection of books, I managed to find by skimming one that had "lesbian" in the title. I've been reading it on and off, whenever I found it, since.
I enjoyed some of the stories immensely and I can tell that I liked the book by how many of the stories I dog-eared. (Yes, I'm terrible like that when I own a book.)
Sometimes it's fun to just have some lesbian fiction to read!
