Anatomy For The Artist: The Dynamics of the Human Form

Rate this book

Everyone understands that the internal structure of the body affects shape, posture and movement. Without an understanding of what is hidden from view, the artist cannot express the physical attributes and create a drawing that brings character truly to life. What makes this study of anatomy unique is that it focuses on visual knowledge, appealing to the methods through which artists really understand and appreciate information. There's no unnecessary medical jargon, only stunning yet accurate artwork, showing the artist what he needs to know in order to bring the human form to life.
