P.S. freaking awesome

I don't normally read high-school romance novels, but when I do they have to be killer  and this one was epic! Ellie and Jace's chemistry explodes off the pages, whether it's love or hate. Jace definitely has big D energy going on,and I loved it. Ellie is gentle without being a wilting flower. I mean the girl did cry a lot but who wouldn't succumb to tears given the same circumstances. This book had me laughing, and angry, and saying "awe" several times. Jane Anthony sure knows how to write a riveting story. I can't wait to read Darla's book next.

When Ellie moves to Texas after losing it all she lives with her mother’s best friend who has a son that hates her on sight. Jace is openly hostile towards her despite not knowing anything about her and no matter how much she tries to get through his rough exterior he always slams those shut insulting her. As these two go back and forth they fight an underlying attraction that seems to be brewing, but anger, lies, and so much holds them back. Ellie may have come from a life of privilege, but she is nothing like the snobs she encounters, and Toby is the worst one of all. I loved Jace and even though he was brutal and cruel at times he had a heart of gold he never let many see, but you knew it was there. Ellie was strong and independent, but I wish she had seen right through Toby a lot sooner. The suspense, angst, and attraction burn up the pages to where I couldn’t and wouldn’t put it down. This book is the perfect high school bully romance of self-preservation, discovery, and finding love in the heart of the coldest.

OMG This book is EVERYTHING!
I want EVERYONE to read it,I Love it so much and I am finding it hard to find the words to review.
I Just want to make a shrine to it and worship at its feet everyday.
Its just brilliant and I enjoyed every single moment I spent reading about Jace and Ellie's stormy relationship.
Jace is the ultimate badboy, moody, broody, brutal and cruel both with his words and his behaviour towards Ellie.
Ellie is definately not from Texas, but her mother was,she comes from money and is used to living in luxury. That is until her world falls apart when she loses her Mum and their wealthy lifestyle.
This is when her mothers childhood best friend takes her in because she has no-one else in her life who will. But Mrs Wilder has a son Jace who is NOT happy with Ellie's arrival and he does everything he can to make her life difficult.
I really felt bad for Ellie because she was just pushed into a new way of life with Jace and his Mum and settle in a town that didn't seem to want her there, expected to adapt and then discovering things about her Mother (who she idolised)..and finding out her mum was not who she thought she was.
So when she is vunerable and trying to be strong is when rich boy Troy comes into her life with all smiles and kindness paying her attention, and dangling his lifestyle in front of her,a lifestyle she used to live.So she gives him a shot and even when he acts like the spoilt brat he is ,she trys to ignore that there is a darkside lurking beneath that pretty boy face.He also has a vendetta with Jace that goes deep. One thing I did admire about Ellie though was her thick skin and strength,no matter who put her down she would bounce back up with a fight.
Troy really annoyed me he is a controlling ASS and I couldn't believe Ellie overlooked his behaviour,I wanted to shake her.
It is NO revelation that I LOVE JACE.!!!!...He is so hot and delicious even when he is being bad,I wanted him to eat me for breakfast, lunch and dinner snacks too.Because even though he is scathing with his jibes to Ellie,he is actually a good guy and he shows it subtely with his actions. He is just trying to protect his heart from loss.He is also so dirty and sex personified.. Hades has nothing on Jace's hotness.
These two are opposites in everyway and their relationship is toxic, but they change eachother without even knowing they are doing it.
They are perfect together as their Hate becomes Love.
Jane Anthony has just written one of my favourite books that I have read this year, her writing is an Amazing blend of addictive and superbly descriptive. With characters that you either love or hate but real and mesmerising.I pictured every chapter with prescision in my mind because of Janes intoxicating writing.
This book is Outstanding and exceptional in every way I really Loved it and have nothing but praise for P.S I Hate You and for Jane Anthony.
Sensational.!!
5 BILLION STARS.

I need more Jace and Ellie! I didn’t want this to end, it was so good! I think bully romance may be one of my new favorite tropes. I couldn’t put this down and finished it in one sitting, who needs sleep when you can stay up until 2am with a good book right?

I loved the character development in this book and the slow burn sexual tension was to die for.

I think the only negatives for me were the whole “it wasn’t my secret to tell” thing. Don’t get me wrong I get it and I respect not spilling other peoples secrets but when that person isn’t alive/around to share those secrets how do you expect someone to find shit out?!

I wish Ellie had more of a backbone. I know she was sheltered and naive but there were a few times where I was like come one girl don’t fall for that shit and don’t put up with it! Her growth throughout the book was amazing though and I love that she learned to embrace herself.

What can I say about Jace other than, Damn! Talk about an alpha hole. I loved Jace, he fought so hard to hide who he really was but we all knew Ellie would crack him. As much as he tried to say he hated her he still protected her at every turn, not to say he didn’t also make her miserable. But hey I’d let him bully me anyday if it ended with stealing his heart. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I received an ARC copy of this book and am so happy I signed up because I loved this!

But.. but... but... I wasn't done with them yet! These two are like oil and water. You've got Princess Ellie and bully Jace and from the get-go the battle lines were drawn. When they clashed, (which they did ALOT) you could almost FEEL the electricity sparking between these two. Just a very well rounded read that I loved from page 1 right through the playlist, the sarcasm, the side characters (I was partial to Jolene myself, she was great lol), the inevitable problems that arise when you transplant people far from their home and out of the environment they are familiar and comfortable with, I even totally got Jace's initial reluctance to accept her and resentment. He took it a lot farther than I'd ever feel comfortable with but I saw where it might stem from, I've been where it stems from actually, so it was easy to put myself in his shoes. I also found it easy to put myself in Ellie's shoes, sharing quite a bit in common with her, its just how this particular author draws us in with the relate-ability and realness of these characters, its a great feeling when you come across someone who feels things like you do, its even greater to find that type of understanding in a character, not only does it feel validating, but it instantly makes it easier to FEEL which is why I'm reading these books in the first place. BIG SIGH As much as I disliked Jace initially, he grew on me. Don't get me wrong, his bullying towards the end ticked me off but at least made sense when you learned his background and motivations. By the end I loved them both, even if they were completely toxic for each other, just a delicious book and I didn't want to leave it!

Oh man. Ellie and Jace are gonna have your head spinning, yours thighs clenching and your heart exploding. The angst and drama these two bring amongst each other is just plan fucking 🔥
I received an ARC also got to enjoy the writing journey with Jane Anthony! Which I'm so proud of how well written and heart wrenchingly great this book is.

This book follows Ellie through her new life and the burdens she has to carry. The twists and turns at every corner have you reaching out for more. This book sucked me in and I couldn't physically put it done without knowing what was going to happen next.

Jane Anthony really hit the ball park with this semi bully yet angsty af romance. If your are a fan of Jamie McQuire's Beautiful Diaster and Penelope Ward's Bully. This book has a little bit of everything.

Jane's words just flow so well with this book that it's like it wasn't even her first time writing this genre.

P.S I Hate You is on my top 20 favorite bully books!

If you are a lover of bully romances like I am, then this story is for you! You are taken on a wild ride of emotions, angst, anticipation and more! Jace may come off like the epitome of a bad boy, but as you read you see he has a different side to him under that tough exterior. And maybe that has to do with Ellie. She comes to live with his family after a tragedy in her life. But their first meeting doesn’t exactly go well. She came from a privileged life that was taken from her and now she has to adjust to a whole new way of life.

Both these characters endeared themselves to me to the point that I just couldn’t put this book down. I needed to know what was going to happen between them. Jace and Ellie are explosive together and their chemistry is so sizzling, sparks flew off the pages of my kindle. There is just so much to love about this story! It’s a definite must read!

Words can’t really encompass how much I LOVED this book. Like, Jace Wilder was absolute perfection is his moody way. His backstory made your heart crack open for him, and even though he was a major dick to Ellie (hello, it’s a bully romance—we expect that) you could always tell there was something real lurking in the depths of that anger.

And ommmf was there ever!! 🥺🥺

Their chemistry, the push and pull, the way he’d get jealous and try to tell her but couldn’t…ahh all so perfect. And how he defends her and saves her… eep. No spoilers but my heart ❤️

I think this is my fav bully romance read ever.

Tired Eyes - PHENOMENAL
I'm so tired but so worth it. Once I started I could not stop reading. I love a good bully/innocent story that pushes me with hungry eyes to keep reading. I felt the pain and sadness as well as the fear and the undeniable hot chemistry that plagued this story throughout. It's a wild twisted hot and exciting read that is brilliantly written with several surprising twists along the way with a phenomenal HEA.

This is the first book I’ve read by this author but now I want to go read everything from her! This story had me feeling so much the entire time and I hated having to put it down.

P.S. I Hate You is a story of two young people from two different worlds who have to face many obstacles to get to each other… but the ride is definitely worth it!

I really thought for a good part of this book I would be giving it a 3⭐️ rating but I feel this is like a 3.75 so I’m rounding up.

I felt that both Jace and Ellie weren’t the brightest characters and I immensely disliked the slang in the book.

Never the less I enjoyed the story for the most part.

P.S. I Hate You by Jane Anthony is a must read for every bully romance lovers! This new adult enemies to lovers romance had a lot of tropes I absolutely adore..good girl falling for bad boy, grumpy Sunshine, forced proximity..and the author made it one h3ll of a ride! Ellie and Jace are fire together.

Ellie Cartwright has lost her posh life, her mother and everything else after her mother was caught for a financial scandal and died of a heart attack. She has to come to a small town in Texas to live with her mother’s old best friend Cindy. Cindy's son Jace hate her immediately as he thinks she is an entitled uptight spoiled b1tch. And he is making her life hell. But they have this magnetic pull too...

This had everything you can expect from a great bully romance. The enemies to lovers tension. The high school drama. The sexual chemistry that just explodes even when they both deny it. Ellie definitely had a lot to adjust in the small town. She had a lavish life but she was never spoiled or had an attitude. She is pretty sweet and adorable and she didn’t deserve all the bullying and stereotypes thrown her way. My heart was really breaking for her. She lost her way and she felt defeated but she never stopped fighting. And I loved how she fought back or stood up for herself. And that is what made Jace obsessed with her too. He is the popular bad boy in school who has a lot of pent up aggression and bitterness those he took out on Ellie. And of course like any brooding c0cky ahole hero..he tried to push her to prove he doesn't care. Obviously it didn't work and they ended up becoming soul mates. There were loads of misunderstanding and twists but it worked out well at the end. Not before the angst or heartache though. I loved the sweet torture of the love-hate-love throughout the story.

I read this story in one night. I could not put it down. The characters are so captivating that you can't help but get lost in them. It shows how mature some high school kids are, and how they can mask their true life experiences. It is amazing how two young people can be thrown together in a situation that neither of them asked for , and find friendship and love out of the tragic situation.

I normally do not get so tied up with my feelings on a story with characters that are of this age. This story reached out and grabbed me by the throat. I was not able to put it down once I started. I was able to feel and remember so many things from that age. It was great and sad. You remember those hurts, loves, angers, and people that was once a part of your everyday life that may no longer be there now. I smiled, laughed, and boy did I shed some tears. Over all I felt like I had been through an emotional tornado, but every word read, every minute spent, and every tear and chuckle shed was worth it.

I found myself starting this book at 3 am and staying up til I finished it. For lovers of bully romances Ellie is moving to Texas after her mother died and the scandal surrounding her to live with her mother's best friend Cindy. Cindy has a son ellie's age and these two kick off instant tension at the airport. Jace seemingly hates Ellie and despite Ellie's kind nature she can't break through his wall. As they attend school it only gets worse. This was a fantastic high school enemies to lovers romance. Jace can be a complete jerk but clearly struggles with his feelings. Despite her rich background Ellie isn't snobby while trying to find her place in this small town and it's culture. The steam was dead on and spicy, there was angsty back and forth, villains that are worth actually hating and two young teens finding their way to each other. I certainly enjoyed this book and will check out more by this author.

This was so freaking good. From start to finish I couldn't and didn't want to put it down. I was so engrossed with this story I wish we could all find our own Jace with his lil country, dirty talking self with a heart of gold that he hides behind a tough somewhat crazy exterior. I swear I think that boy could sweet talk a nun into committing a sin🤣 he sure sweet taked Ellie into some dirty lil scenes lol. She's his mom's best friends daughter who's come to live with them after her mom died and he is fit to be tied, so to get back at her he torments and makes her life hell, but that's ok, because this girl is from NY and she's going to...that's all I'm saying, you'll just have to read it and find out.

I'd absolutely recommend!

This was a really wonderful read. I really like the balance in this book. There was plenty of tension and drama but also plenty of heart and emotion. I found it very easy to like Ellie and my heart truly ached for her. My feelings for Jace, though, were much more complex. To start, he's very hot, but also a very big jerk. As time went on, he did win me over, but I freely admit that I had a couple of times when I really would have loved to give him a vicious punch to the throat. This is definitely a book that is going to have you feeling plenty of emotions and in the end, you will be basking in the swoon and sweetness. I am independently posting an impartial review

I thought this book was quite entertaining to read. There is quite a bit of bullying as Jace seems to hate Ellie, but they do say that there is a fine line between hate and love! I feel for Ellie since her entire world has imploded but she is a strong young woman who is very resilient. Then you have Jace who seems angry and sullen, and then you see the vulnerable guy underneath.

I recieved and ARC of this book from the Author to leave an honest review. First this not really my usual Genre but I can say I enjoyed this book. Jace and El were believable and didn't irritate me as unrealistic characters. I find when people write high school romance these days they make the characters unrelateable and plain unrealistic which just detracts from the story. This story flowed nicely and kept me wanting to read. I do think it would be interesting to see more from Jace point of view in general. But overall I would read again or recommend to others.

Oh my! I devoured this. I absolutely love bully romance, so when I saw this I immediately knew it would be for me. I hadn’t read this author before but I love finding new ones to fall in love with.
The only thing I wouldn’t like would have been to get Jace’s Point of view. Other than that I really enjoyed Jace and Ellie’s story and couldn’t get enough. They have a love hate relationship which brings tears and smiles. I loved it.

I love Ellie and Jace's Story.
Ellie went through a life changing event with losing her mother and then had to start over in a new town, a new state and had to try and make new friends. She experienced some bumps along the way and the bully that is Jace Wilder. Jace has his own issues to deal with and that includes his new houseguest Ellie. They do their best to coexist and not jump into the feelings that each is having for the other. In the end, they each found what they were looking for.

Jace is the definition of ultimate badboy!! I loved to hate him!!

Ellie after losing her mom is forced to move to Texas. But Jace makes it hard on her from the start.

I needed a silly little book to get me back into reading and this did it. I feel like I’m 12 years old again reading a Wattpad novel LOL. Obvi didn’t love the whole “I bully you because I love you” because FALSE but I also know that that’s just the way these books go and I knew that before going it, so I can’t really hold it against it? No major eye rolls or grossness but a lot of second hand embarrassment! But light, quick and fun if you’re looking for something unserious

First read from the author and its a jackpot!
Love this highschool bully romance. Nothing dark here. Jace and Ellie's enemy to lover chemistry is to die for.
Love their banters.
Jace aholeness is infuriating but when you get to see the real him? Swooon!
While Ellie, she's fire! Love how she tackle the bullying she got.
The ending bit too easy though. While the build up was so good, i wishthe ending wasn't that easy.
But over all i love this book!.

I love bully tropes and being a new author for me I was not disappointed. I read this in one evening.

The princess and the bully.

Ellie and Jace were a love hate relationship but Jace was very protective of Ellie even if his cruel words said otherwise. Ellie was sweet but still had the sass to put Jace in his place when needed. These two were fireworks when they come together.

My only negative is there are a couple of things I would have liked a little more detail on but the story still carried on very well without it so that's just personal preference.
