I talk to everyone, be that in line at a store, the airport, no matter where I am. Yet, cell phones, computers and other devices created a situation that has allowed everyone immediate access to the WWW, social media, internet shopping and all that it brings. My personal interactions with those I have contact has become more limited, especially if they are “viewing” a device. I find myself fearing my conversation would be an interruption, a negative instead of the positive I intend. This book has helped me understand, I am not alone. Many use these sites to feel more apart, yet are instead creating more loneliness. That was NOT God’s intention for us.
