Research shows that one way people deal with stress is to simply ignore it. Reading this book is an effective way to accomplish this task. Dyson and friends are marvelously-hideously-fiendishly-unbelievably black. The marriage of horror and humor in the text is a balm to all who find life absurd.

An absolute must for all fans of the show - it's a complete collection of the scripts from series 1-3 (and the Christmas special) with scribbles and doodles from the cast, as well as lots of additional photos from the sets. A great insight and behind the scenes of the episodes!

This is a must-read for fans of the TV show. It's interesting to read the lines that were taken out of the aired episodes and there are loads of photos of the cast while filming episodes, in character and being made up etc. While it's a long read in terms of pages (the main text runs to page 589), as its primarily a script book, the pages are pretty quick to read, so I managed to make my way through it within the space of 3 days. I'll go back and read some of the details on the images of scribbled handwritten notes and the like at a later date. For me, it was a good read as it wasn't a long slog. I recommend this. It is a bit of a big book physically - it's a weighty hardback, so it wouldn't be great in terms of being a light read to take on holiday but otherwise it's a good read. I suppose I'd hoped there might be more from the creators/writers talking about their personal experiences, what inspired the characters and so on but that aside, its certainly a good read for fans of the show.

This volume pulls together all the scripts from the T.V series' and the T.V specials as well as plenty of background material from mini bios of the characters to backstage photos and random notes, annotations and sketches from the cast and crew. Again I'm not a great one for reading scripts but these were rather enjoyable, particularly getting to read those scenes that had been cut from the final shows and seeing how the characters were brought to life backstage (some amazing make-up jobs undertaken there). Overall a good read and one that any League of Gentlemen fan would love.

This book contains allt he scripts for every epsiode of the television series of the League Of Gentlemen, still much mourned by myself. I loved the show and lover th ebig book format, it is dotted with cut out scenes, personal doodles, drawings, never seen pcitures and shooting schedules etc. This probably won't be for anyone who isn't a big fan, but for me it is superb and I'll hopefully now stop being corrected for mis quoting them :)

A solid script collection from the superlative League. Worth getting for all the interesting extras thrown in, with some amazing little doodles of characters here and about the place. The cover is amazing as well. Look at that thing.
