I was hoping to get some help writing novels. Been a writer all my life and not as successful as I wanted to be. So I thought this book might help. Used to read articles by Philip Stevick back in the day and thought he was brilliant and intelligible. Well guess what? This book is so far a giant snore. I've waded through this swamp of turgid prose for about 200 pages and have not found anything helpful yet. I do not recommend it.
