"Why forget the gifts? The blessings and achievements? Let's try positivity"
Poem is a collection of words used to demonstrate those feelings that cannot be done verbally. Poetry is such a form of art where few words show a gigantic world. In this era of modern and minimalist poetry, that include life, inspiration, relationships, love, faith, and courage, emotions & etc., i.e. which comprise and come under the general and familiar feelings though they look cliché, still have held their importance. Similarly, musings that come straight from the heart are endearing to read and accept.
In this context, Haiku Love: Lost In Thoughts by Bidisha Bhattacharyya is an honest & attractive collection of enlightening poems. The poems range from every feeling that is felt, embraced and seeped into minds and hearts. The 70 poems in the book are inspiring, positive and beautiful. My favourites are Mental Health Is Priority, Glowing Lights, Let's Just Live Fighting, Let's Try, We Grow, It All Changes, Love still wins.❤️
Books like this during challenging times in life are real saviours. The lucid writing and deep emotions portrayed in the book will surely appease the reader’s mind.

Title & Cover: With the sort of subject matter, the title and cover selections are apt.
Language: Easy & Gripping. Every kind of reader can understand the connotations of poetry.
Subject Matter: Like other poetry books, the subject matter is emotions, life and experience. Relatable matters are bonus content for readers.
My Take: I enthusiastically picked the book because of its title and genre. There are some relatable topics. Obviously, I like them.
Haiku Love: Lost in Thoughts. I believed it to be an engrossing read, but I am sorry to state, it didn't fulfill my expectations. I enucleated the content is redundantally tiny. It is neither verse nor poetry, but whatever it is, it's ship shape.
Sadly, it did not awestruck me as a poetry book always did to me. It doesn't mean you will feel the same. I reckon, our perspectives are different and you may like it. You can pick this book if you love poetry. I advise you to judge the book by yourself, not by my review.
Book name- Haiku Love : Lost In Thoughts Author- Bidisha Bhattacharyya Rating- 3.5/5
‘ Haiku love ’ is a medley of poems, written with high emotions. Coming straight to the point, I think this was brilliant. Cause, I got ideas to write my own story from it! Like I was reading, and I was smiling. I was like ok. Ok I can do this with it. So, it's fair to say that this book is inspiring. Other than that, as the author expresses their work as poetries, I think it's more of a collection of thoughts. As the title suggests, lost in thoughts. These really were thoughts compiled in a book, but then Haiku is basically a 3 line poem where in the 3rd line has something deep in it. At some point I felt as if the author wrote a really long poem, and then divided the stanzas and for each stanza they made a new chapter! This was my first Haiku poetry, and I enjoyed it! The graphics and pictures were nice, they were a plus point in keeping the readers interested. The thought titles could use a bit of work, and the cover was calming. Overall, it was a quick read! ~Azmi

I'm not much into poems but Bidisha Bhattacharyya's 'Haiku Love' has made me a poetry lover. It is a collection of Japanese poems. Usually when we read poems, it is mostly about love, nature or beauty. But in this book each poem describes various human emotions. Life is not a bed of roses- there are sufferings, anxiety, failure too. The journey of our lives go through an emotional roller-coaster ride. The poems describe all the human emotions that evey reader can relate to them. The writing style is very unique. Just in 2-3 lines deep thoughts are expressed. One of my favourite lines from the book is - "Seasons change with us New hope grows with new tree leaves Dark nights don't last".
I really had fell in love with both the story and the book as it was. The love we all expect to have is defined as purity by author. When just a single line have several meanings in it, why not a poem describe us the purity of two person's loving each other. The description of each and every poem is pure and symbolic to make us feel depth deep down our heart. All we want is someone to show us pure love and this book truly made me fell in love with it. A good poem reacts and enacts in a best way and i strongly belive that whoever reading with a whole on description will definitely fall in love with the poems. Be the first to fall in love and grab this book to fall in love again and again.

Overall as a poetry lover this short yet beautiful collection was perfect for me.
Firstly thank you for introducing the haiku form of poems (short, unrhymed poem), this Japanese form of poetry is enticing. Another interesting point is for the first time I found a poetry collection beginning with the death theme. This book is a collection of 70 poems of varied emotions and themes. Poetry calms our (my) mood and relaxes my mind thus turning the moment a cheerful delight. But this collection made me introspect my understanding and thinking. I would ask readers to enjoy the book at loneliness nights where you (we) get to acknowledge the lyrics of silent night (and life).
This book contains 70 touching and relatable poems presented in an appropriate manner.
The language was very soothing, and a few lines were particularly relatable and heartwarming, with which I felt a strong connection. The poems were all very diverse in nature.
Each poem was accompanied by some very peaceful and suitable images. Those photos, I must say, make this book even smoother.
Three of my favourite poems from this collection are Broken Piece, Blank Pages, and Love Still Wins.
Overall, as a poet, this short but lovely collection was ideal for me.
Haiku Love by Bidisha Bhattacharya is a poetry collection which consists of poems in written in the haiku form.
Now, generally, Haiku's are in the sequence 5-7-5 words in three lines respectively. But the poems here do not follow that trend. That was the first thing I noticed while reading the book and it became insistent as the book progressed, which just made it more and more noticeable and kept me distracted, hence the three stars.
Once I overcame that, the poems are good. Consisting of topics ranging from love, to hope, to sadness all of it beautifully portrayed in short, just beautiful.
"Why scared for future? Why stay broken by the past? Let's just live for once."
This short book is a collection of Japanese poems that are related to life. They will make you think, conquer and instill confidence in your life. The above quote is from one of the poems.
The poems are of a wide spectrum of emotions. Though it's a quick read, I must bet that it's not a quick analysis. One such that really caught my mind is that of mental health, as most of us are going through many issues related to it.
I could see that these poems created a rejuvenation. I am glad I picked this up.
A haiku is viewed as in excess of a sort of sonnet; it is a perspective on actual world and seeing something more profound, similar to the actual idea of presence and the sonnets in the book accomplishes precisely that. The sonnets in this book manages the subjects including the various issues looked by anybody like sorrow, nervousness, demise; reflecting upon the excursion of life overall.I cherished how every haiku had an extraordinary topic and every one of the haiku in the book was effective and will have the peruser with a solid effect.
The haiku is a Japanese poetic form that consists of three lines, with five syllables in the first line, seven in the second, and five in the third. This book is collection of heartfelt and soulful haiku poems which represent the different facets of life. Some of these are happiness, death, love and anxiety. They are represented in such a way that any individual can relate to them. I absolutely loved the simplicity of the poems and the ideas behind them. This was my first tryst with Haiku poetry.
Life is filled with full of emotions. This short book is a collection of Japanese poems. While reading we can get into many emotions, author Bidisha Bhattacharyya wrote "Haiku Love".
The poem in this book includes different problems faced by people, depression, anxiety, and reflecting ourselves. Reading these poems makes us think about life and situations.
The author did a great effort to convert feelings into words. I loved this book very much.
I enjoyed reading this short book of poetry. Each page provided a short thought on the subject. I was forced constantly by four lines of poetry to stop and reflect upon what was being shared by the poet. The author, in presenting the many subjects that she has, has allowed the reader to explore how these many ideas affect his own life. I hope that this book will be read widely and that the readers will grow from the experience of absorbing these beautiful words. Highly recommended.
When one is using poetry to express the deepest and most profound feelings, that is what it's for - so it's not necessary that it follow rules about attention to nature, season, etc. There is a general attraction to the 5-7-5 syllable format and this poetry sticks to it well, and does what she wants it to - I commend her.
This a very nice collection. The various pieces of Haikus & Senryus were indeed used to inspire and motivate the readers. The author did a good job at putting these together.
Thanks for sharing. Recommend to all readers, especially those who love reading poetry.
