[Hopelessly Addicted To Books]

A big change of pace for one of my favourite authors, this is a fun and flirty romance.

Hattie Mae is a girl that lost of us will relate to, she’s bruised after a bad break up but she doesn’t wallow she takes action and moves. A new town brings Zane and Lucas into her life and they bring a whole new set of problems for her,

I enjoyed reading about these three even if one is a troublemaker. There is angst but I found myself laughing more than I thought I would. Glenna had successfully navigated her way to a whole new genre.

This is a start to a new series revolving around three brothers with the first one on sexy manwhore, Zane. Hattie left her longtime boyfriend after finding him cheating on her with another man. She has just been notified that her father has died and left her his estate and since she needs to get away she heads to Texas and runs right into both of the Rowdy brothers, Zane and Lucas. They both make a play on her but neither her head nor her heart is into anything serious. She just needs to know if her breakup with her boyfriend was her fault by not being able to please a man. This is so far from Hattie’s personality but she ends up kissing both brothers that night. To his surprise one brother wants her long term and the other just wants to mess with his brother. You will be surprised as to which was which.
This is a quick read with a curvy and sassy Hattie who is realizing she wants more to her life than what she had thought and a brother who himself is taken by surprise.

This story is short, fast paced and a nice read. I read this book within half an hour and thought it was a sweet read. I liked that Hattie didn’t put up with what Justin did. She took a risk and started over in a new place. I liked that she made friends quickly. I liked Zane but I was a little put off by him at first. Why? Because he had an inkling that Hattie is the one that is the love of his life yet when she brushed him off a little, he went and had a one-night stand. He didn’t even care that Hattie saw him go off with Cassie.
I saw some chemistry between Zane and Hattie but I would have liked a little more. I liked Zane and Hattie as a couple and was happy that Hattie liked Zane a lot and gave love a second chance.
I wasn’t a fan of Lucas. His intentions to hurt his brother were clear to see. I didn’t like that he nearly messed with Hattie’s feelings. That being said, I am a little intrigued by Lucas and I will read his story when it is released.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is a nice read.

Making Her Mine is a big departure from your typical Glenna Maynard book AND you will LOVE it. Hattie Mae gets hit with a double dose of reality when within hours she discovers that her estranged father has dies and left her everything including a trailer and vehicle in a Texas AND she catches her best friend/fiancé liplocked with a MAN. Reeling from all this, she realizes that Texas doesn’t seem so bad after all. Her first night in town she encounters the Rowdy brothers, two hotties with bodies to die for. After kissing both brothers she realizes that she wasn’t the problem I her previous relationship. With both brothers chasing her the only real choice now is Mr. Long-term or Mr. Right Now. The Rowdy brothers is a fun new series with three crazy sexy brothers. I can’t wait for the next one.

I very much enjoyed this first book in a new series. I loved the sassiness of the heroine and the hero was sexy but with quite the gentleman appeal as well. I loved the bit of angst with a 3rd party making trouble and I found I laughed quite a bit at the background characters. I'm excited to see what's next in this town.

Cute lighthearted read

Exactly what I needed, a cute sexy read. Loved the all the characters not just great leading characters but I love the whole nosiness of the other characters. Zane is hot and sexy, Hattie Mae is curvy and sweet. Together they are adorable and obviously made for each other. Sweet story and excited to see what the other brothers bring to the series.
