I appreciate this eye-candy collection of Canadian Gardening Magazine's articles. There's a garden from my home town featured and plenty of plant recommendations for my chilly zone. The only little beef I have is that a lot of the gardens were designed by professionals. I accept this as a fact of life, that the beauty of a garden is partly a function of how much money the owners have...because some of these city gardens are pretty darn big and bordering on wooded areas.

I loved seeing what people did with their back and side yards, even in a small space.
I rarely buy books, but because I liked Liz's other book so much, I bought this one as a used book on Amazon. I can imagine reading it again, so it's nice I own it!

This book has photos of many lovely, professionally designed gardens. and shows gardens in different seasons. I love to imagine strolling or sitting in one of these dreamy settings.
