Half-way through this book and I am amazed (not surprised) at the stories and depth of leadership on many levels.

Knowing a few of the profiled professionals does not make any of this surprising. So much depth. This should be a must read for an corporate DEI professional when saying that they can't find Latino leaders for boards or C-Suite positions. THIS IS AMERICA!! Love it.

Well done Mr. Carbajal and Mr. Morey!

The editing is just so poor in this book. I'm having a hard time concentrating on the message -- and I'm only beginning Chapter/"Evolution" 1 now.

Hopefully, the stories and context make up for the poor grammar and inconsistent writing that i can come back and update my rating.

Forcibly got to 32% of the book, and gave up. It has no fluency that makes me want to keep reading, and even though they are a lot of great stories of overcoming hardship, it was a hard read for me.
