Book 1 of the Samantha Tyler adjunct to the Hand Of God series
I enjoyed this read. Follow Samantha Tyler (1st POV) as she seeks revenge on those who ordered and executed her kidnapping and torture. I'll admit to some skepticism on 'militant nuns', but oh my goodness it works! I enjoyed reading about Tyler's time at the Abbey, healing and training. Her struggle with Faith is understandable. She has the same questions so many do - if there is a God then WHY do evil things happen? I like how nothing is really cut and dry for her, she still has to figure things out. However, her training and experience with The Enemy definitely give her an edge as she teams up with childhood friends, computer geeks, and mysterious men to track and confront the ones who literally turned her life inside out. Recommend this!

This story is a spin off of the Victor McCain supernatural thrillers. The main character Samantha Tyler is on the mend from her ordeal involving some very nasty supernatural characters and several very human and just heinous ones. With a new found purpose to avenge herself, she sets out to deal some well-deserved justice. This is the first book in Samantha's series and she is definitely off with a bang. Fast-paced action is mixed with many twists and turns. All of it leaving you wanting more.

Audiobook: I enjoyed this first book of the "Samantha Tyler Thriller" series. The story opened with a high-octane scene and moved from one chilling moment to the next. I liked the character of Samantha Tyler as she had all the characteristics that I like: intelligence, strength, and determination. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. Some of the characters and groups mentioned in this story were introduced in "The Victor McCain Series" by Tony Acree. Louise Cooksey's narration was entertaining. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

I absolutely loved this spinoff from The Hand of God series. It has all the adventure, great characters and amazing action as the original. I can't wait until the next one comes out to devour it as quickly as I did this one. It would be a shame to miss it so be sure you don't!

Vengeance a fitting title
I can't wait for the next Samantha Taylor book... Well written, wish they would bring Vic into the stories...You won't want to put this book down once you start reading.
