Tropes - Age Gap, BDSM, Daddy Kink, Degradation (one scene), Insta-love, Plus Size FMC, Single Father, Series (Must Read Others)
To be honest, I stopped caring for Nick and Holly after “claimed by cupid.” I only continued the series because I wanted to complete the series. The ending was super cute. I skim-read the smut scenes, though. I felt like it was being rinsed and repeated throughout the series, so it was nothing new. I did however love how Nick made Holly feel confident in her body.
⚠️ OVERALL IT US UP TO YOU IF YOU WANT TO READ THIS ⚠️
Great ending to a great series. I’m sad to see it go. These two are so of the most memorable characters in my book heart. Nick is the perfect man in so many ways and I guess now I have to come up with my own future for them. This didn’t contain nearly enough smut for my needs but I loved the sweet ending nonetheless.
This book was so bitter sweet to read. I’ve followed Nick and Hollys journey from the start and this couldn’t have been a more perfect ending. I even teared up on parts. 🥹 I loved this series so much. If you’re looking for short bur super sexy reads, this series is a must read.
this was not good. first of all, it was so cheesy and not in a fun way like in the way that I rolled my eyes so many times I almost forgot how to stop. second of all, it wasn't even sexy which was the whole point of this series? third of all, I just realized his name is Nicholas Saint - Saint Nick? Because the first book was Christmas? ew.
Nick and Holly's story was one that I took delight in reading. A quick, sweet and enchanting series of novellas with a slice of spice. I hope that I can find more like them now that the series concluded. Although, age-gap romances are often looked down upon for obvious and valid reasons, this series fused kink with a healthy relaionship in the most charming way. A bittersweet goodbye to be sure!
If I'm being honest, I recently had a conversation with someone about this series and how we were starting to lose the connection with Nick and Holly after four books. So I was a little doubtful going into this one... but was I ever wrong!
This novella was the perfect ending to our journey with Nick and Holly - short, sweet and spicy. The couple planned a picture perfect, quiet winter wedding at their cabin and wrote personal vows that had me reaching for the tissues. We get glimpses of both characters relationships with Nick's children (who will be characters in future books, perhaps?). Nick continues to love and support Holly in ways that make me cry while still maintaining his title as Daddy Nick with some public displays at the reception (iykyk). And Holly remains my ever-lovable and relatable queen, who shows how far she's come by taking a little control. All wrapped up in a perfect 70 pages.
"I have a freaking husband. A silver fox, sex god, daddy of a husband."
Honestly, if you loved Nick and Holly and have followed them this far, you need this ending. You'll also need a box of tissues, but it'll be worth it, promise!
i have read all of the Nick and Holly books, and let’s just say that these deserve jail time.
in the first book, Nick and Holly meet a few days before christmas. Holly finds out her boyfriend of 5 years has been cheating on her for the past two years and he breaks up with her in a bar in front of all his friends. the owner of the bar, Nick, sees this vulnerable 25-year-old woman and tells her that he can help make her now ex jealous. this man is 50 years old, by the way, HALF her age. he has no business sticking his nose in a vulnerable young girl’s life. anyway, naturally, they fall in love in the first book and it’s just a short christmas-themed romance.
the second book is set during valentine’s day, not quite two months after Nick and Holly met. he asks her to move in with him and he wants her to meet HIS KIDS. yes, his kids that are 7 years or less younger than her. it is a little weird, however, that they have not been mentioned until this point, especially since his youngest is 18 and a senior in high school… you’d think he would still be fathering her but ig she lives with her mom, which is kind of a red flag if she doesn’t want to visit her dad. however, despite the weird age differences of everyone, at the end of the book, he decides to pick out a ring for holly to propose soon.
the third book is set in June, roughly 6 months after Nick and Holly met. it isn’t specified when exactly they made it official between them, probably somewhere in the second book, so they have been dating probably around 4 months at this point. in the third book they are in vacation in Mexico and that is where Nick decides to propose to her with the ring his daughter helped pick out for Holly. of course, she says yes. but another revelation has occurred to me that Holly brings absolutely nothing to the table. he does pretty much everything for her. she pretty much just acts like another one of his children which disgusts me.
in the fourth book, they celebrate Nick’s birthday in his vacation cabin. it starts out with them leaving for the cabin and they get into their first fight as a couple of less than 8 months. what they fought over was rlly ridiculous so of course they work it out to show that they are a mature couple that can withstand anything thrown at them. in the middle of the book, they stop by a cafe, cuddling with each other while they eat. she says, “I wonder if people think you’re my dad.” and she didn’t seem weirded out by that fact…. anyway in this book, Holly gets to know Nick’s kids a tad bit more and from the one chapter they’re in, i have concluded that they act more mature and older than Holly does, and they are 18 and 20.
in the final book, nick and holly get married after one total year of knowing each other. and that’s all i have to say about that one.
in conclusion, this couple is most likely doomed and i rate this whole series a whopping 2 stars.
❁ Age Gap ❁ Novella ❁ Plus Size Heroine ❁ Daddy k!nk ❁ Dirty Talk
This is the last of Nick and Holly, which makes me so sad. If you haven’t read any of the Nick and Holly books what are you doing? Go read them now! The whole series is amazing. Nick and Holly have such an amazing and healthy relationship. I love how Dana Isaly was able to create such the ideal relationship is 5 novellas. I want what Nick and Holly have. I mean they have a healthy relationship with a lot of amazing f*cking. Nick is so considerate, understanding, dominant and sweet. He know exactly how to help Holly with her insecurities and anxiety. Well Holly may be the more playful of the two, I love how she also is so in-tune with how Nick is feeling. Plus their chemistry, teasing, and dirty talk is some of the best I have read. This novella was the perfect conclusion to their story, even though I don’t want it to be over. I got literal butterflies in my stomach and tears in my eyes reading it. Thank you so much Dana Isaly for writing this and giving me a copy to review.
Nick and Holly have had a hold on me from the very beginning. I’m elated to say that this last novella does their story justice. Some series are dragged on too long, but Dana nailed it! While I think this one had a little bit of a slow start, I can genuinely say that this was the most natural and authentic ending I could have wanted. It was the perfect combination of sweet, playful, and downright sexy. I will forever love the way that Nick and Holly tease each other, reassure each other about their insecurities, and all of the ways they talk dirty.🔥 This novella had me crying all the happy tears, smiling so big, and yes, I was sweating (just sayin’).
Thank you Dana Isaly for the gifted book in exchange for my honest review!
What a perfect way to end the Nick and Holly series!
Nick and Holly are getting married at the cabin with their closest friends and family in attendance.
This is a quick 9 chapter read that can be read within the hour but it was perfect. I was so happy Nick and Holly got their fairytale happy ending. This is a light and fluffy book with only 2 spicy scenes but it all works together perfectly.
Dana work just pulls you in until the end.
Thanks Dana for giving me the opportunity to read and review ♥️
THANKS FOR MAKING ME CRY, DANA. It’s truly a testament to your skills however, that me with my cold dead heart cried over this amazing conclusion to an already outstanding series.
Nick and Holly have inserted themselves into my life over the past year, and I am honestly so happy that they did. I feel like I watched a love story bloom right before my eyes and these characters are more real than ever.
Locked in Love was emotional, raw, and absolutely the best way to bring Nick and Holly’s story to a conclusion.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for bringing us these two.
“I don’t know what I believe in, but as I watch her walk down that little aisle, I can’t help but say a little thank-you prayer to whoever might be listening. Because this woman in front of me is a miracle, and for some reason, she chose me.”
“I was watching you and wondering how I was ever going to get your attention. Because I knew that I needed to. I knew that my soul was recognizing yours as its other, more important part. And that without you, I wouldn’t be complete.”
We have thoroughly enjoyed their journey together, from meeting in his bar to their nuptials, it's all been perfect. Their kind of love for each other is what people dream about. Unconditional love, respect, and support.
While we are sadly saying goodbye to Nick and Holly, we are also saying a happy hello to his son Henry! We cannot wait to read his and Emmys story 🥰

Yooo this ATE. I’m so sad this series has come to an end. Imma miss everything I loved aka silver fox, age gap, DIRTY talk 💅, chemistry, SUCH LOVE FOR EACH OTHER. Ugh I love them.
“My wife just edged me. She just fucking edged me. I grab her jaw and smile.”
“"I promise to be the best husband I can be," he tells me. "I hope I can always make you this happy. I hope you are always this happy to be with me, even when I'm an even older man."
"You are my everything," he says when we break apart.
This book ended just the way it should. I’ve loved these characters from the very beginning. Watching them progress and still have their antics is fantastic and it makes me jealous. I don’t want to give anything away because you just need to do yourself a favor and if you’ve only read one. Make this the second one. Heck read the whole series!!! ♥️
This novella provided a bittersweet ending for Daddy Nick and Holly. What started as fun play blossomed into a beautiful relationship. The reassurance and patience that Nick gives Holly pulled on my heartstrings. Although there wasn't a lot of smut, the couple living their happily ever after is more than enough. The perfect ending!
nick and hollys story was sooo cute tbh. i loved their journey so much and i do wish we had a little bit more fluff with them compared to smut, but that’s okay. i’m hoping eventually for the announcement of book #6 where holly is pregnant or at least announces her pregnancy in hypothetical book 6’s epilogue
This ending is bittersweet! I love Nick and Holly and while this last book in their story is the best ending Dana could give us, I am going to miss them! We all need a Daddy Nick in our lives who will lift us up and remind us to feel good about ourselves! Holly is a lucky girl!!
Sigh the end of Nick and Holly. The first two was 🔥🔥 and then I felt that they just got meh from there. Love Nick and Holly but I feel like we could’ve just left them alone after Cabo. Just had to read this one for some N&H closure. Glad to see N&H having their HEA.
Locked in Love ARC review What can I say I freaking love Nick and Holly as always Daddy Nick brings all the spice 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 the wedding was beautiful the reception short and sweet and a bit of spice 😍 I will definitely miss these two I am excited about Henry's book though. Great job Dana this was the perfect ending for one of our favorite couples!!
The perfect conclusion to Nick & Holly’s story. It was basically 70 pages all of their wedding and it was so perfect & fitting for them. I’ll be sad to see these characters go!
