I have been waiting forever for Brenna and Tae to finally get their time to shine and they did not disappoint. I completely understand Brenna’s reason for stepping back from Tae. No they never said they were exclusive but, she didn’t expected him to have a whole damn baby. This added another dynamic to thier situationship she was not prepared or ready for. So, rather than deal with the baby mama drama she thought she would have to put up with, she walked away. After some wine and girl talk with Aisha, Brenna realized her feelings for Tae weren’t going away so they might as well give this relationship thig a try. I loved me some Tae. The way he stepped right into fatherhood as a single parent was so admirable. His relationship with BJ was just so stinkin’ cute. Tae is definitely top tier DILF material. When he and Brenna finally came to an understanding, there was no turning back. Their love blossomed and flourished to the next level. But, I have to say, I’m a little shocked. I just knew Brenna was going to be knocked up in the epilogue. Maybe we can get a follow-up on them sometime in the future. I wouldn’t mind a Brenna and Tae wedding update. I’m keeping my fingers crossed. Oh, and Tia, I ain’t forgot about you. Please know, it's on site if I ever run into that triflin’ heffa in these literary streets. Can't Help but Want You was so worth the wait. This book owes me nothing.

I’ve been patiently waiting for Tae and Brenna to get their time to shine and man was the sun out!!! Tae’s aggression was such a turn on 🥵 whew!! I mean!!!!!!!! We got a glimpse into Tae and Brenna’s relationship during Gage and Aisha’s story. Tae is Aisha’s brother and Gage’s best friend while Brenna was Aisha’s bff. They had a sneaky link situation happening until they were caught with their hands in the cookie jar. After Tae and his whorish ways got him caught up resulting in a baby, Brenna called it quits.
Well Tae was not having that! He had to get some ack right in ma girl and straighten her right on up 😩😩. I totally understood Brenna’s reservations in the beginning because who wants to be bothered with baby mama drama. No thank you! Sorry not sorry! Well once Tae explained things to her they got on the same page and the chemistry was just as explosive as before.
Can we talk about Tae dead beat baby mama!!! She was the scum of all scum and I’m glad she got what she deserved. My heart ached for DJ. She did that baby wrong 😭🤧

This wasn’t exactly what I was expecting, but I wasn’t disappointed. While it had a little drama with Tia, I’m glad it wasn’t overly angsty and drama filled. So I guess maybe this was the easy read I needed.
I loved seeing Kazier’s name… that’s my boo.
Tae and Bre were quite mature. I think more so than Gage and Aisha. Neither were playing games. I think when she was trying to move on it was sincere. Randy was doing a lot, especially since it seemed they were casual. But whatever.
As a couple they had good communication, even when it was rocky. Tia 😡… any mistreatment of a child gets me fired up. Especially when the person is the parent.
Overall, solid read.

Loved that the author wrote Tae as a stand up dude and most importantly a amazing father to his infant son. Listen, there are women out there that shouldn't be mothers...at all and Tae's baby momma was one of them. I was hurting for him when she pulled that bs she did. I was like please ms author girl, let this man get his baby back lols.
The little situationship between him and Brenna I respected. They both set their boundaries even though their asses knew they were falling hard for one another but you can't always force someone into something when they aren't ready.
Also big respect to Brenna for being on her grown woman and knowing enough about herself to realize that she didn't want to deal with a man with kids. Sometimes, it just needs to be said... out loud. Shout out to her as well for realizing that she was lying to herself AND using THAT reason for staying away from Tae.

Brenna and Tae
I enjoyed this book. I was so happy for Brenna when she decided to be honest with herself and Devonte about her feelings. They were able t create a nice relationship and included the baby. Well written and entertaining. Glad the law found d Tia bc she a fool.

Let's Work on it
I really liked Tae and Brenna. I figured they had more going on in the book about Gage and Aisha, so I'm glad we get more of them in this book.
Tae has just found out he's the father of a baby boy by a woman he slipped up with. While his son is now his pride and joy, the child's mother, Tia, is a headache. You hear all the time that not everyone is meant to be a mom, well Tia definitely fits that bill. The way she treated DJ was despicable and I'm glad Tae decided to get full custody. Honey, when he opened that door and found his son on his door step I was ready to light FIRE to Tia. She was...I don't even have the harsh words to speak on her; she's THAT deplorable 😒. Either way, I'm glad it worked out and now Tae has his son.
Brenna had every right to feel how she felt with the situation with Tae. I'm glad she was able to be fully open and honest about how she really felt and was able to see that being with Tae and DJ wouldn't have her on the back burner. Tae showed her that he was willing and more than capable to find balance with being a great dad and boyfriend too. I really like these two together.
I'm hoping we get more of these two and see their progression.

Tia was a little of words I can’t say in this review and I’m glad she got what she deserved in the end smh. Tae stepped into fatherhood with purpose and I was here for it. I’m glad Brenna finally admitted to why she really left him alone and they moved forward. They were made for each other and it showed. Great read

No matter how much Brenna tried to fight her feelings for Tae love won in the end. Although she tried to make herself believe that she could never be with a man with kids her feelings for The were much stronger than what she believed in. It was also great to revisit some other characters from previous stories. I love the follow ups on them as well.

This was cute and sweet. Brenna knew she wanted that man as bad as he wanted her. I’m just glad they got it together they were cute together. What a way to end a unfinished situation. The heart wants what the heart wants. I loved that a man can be just as vested as a woman in a relationship.
I love when a man, don't mind expressing his feelings for someone he cares about an wants.

Can’t Help But Want You
As much as Tae and Breanna tried to keep their hookups a secret, they failed in that department. They had to learn how to adjust to the changes and realize that their lives would never be the same. When they finally realized that they loved each other it moved their secret hookups to a full relationship.

Love Journey
I like how Tae and Brenna worked everything out and ended up together raising DJ under the same roof. I wanted to lay hands on Tia myself for how she neglected DJ and most definitely when she just left him abandoned on Tae’s porch with a note. I also like that Tae was very hands on with his son and did what he needed to do to secure full custody of DJ.

Loved Brenna and Tae
They fought the attraction for months but in the end, the had to be together. Tia needed her butt kicked for how she treated DJ, he was just a baby! She deserved all she got too! I hate to see the series ending.
