Warning: This isn't book #3 (as many sites state), this is the prequel to the series!

So I was kind of confused. Goodreads (and other sites) list this as Book 3, but actually it is a prequel. :| I wish they had said that somewhere, then I wouldn't have been so excited to see some Chris x Kelly Ann romance + see her graduate from school (as she is in her last year).

But in the end I still really liked reading this one, laughing my bum off, and enjoying all of Kelly Ann adventures, she does remind

Kelly Ann is a boy's girl...not the kind that dresses up and makes out with them, but rather the kind that plays football (or soccer) with them and is seen only as a friend.

Things start to change when her best friend, Liz, and new friend, Stephanie, try and make her more into a girl. She finds herself liking to dress up and fawning over all sorts of boys, from a famous singer to a boy in her own class.

The Kelly Ann diaries are perfect for fans of

This book is laugh out loud funny. I'm not a Louise Rennison fan but I think that Louise Rennison fans will love Liz Rettig. I never found Louise Rennison to be that funny but Liz Rettig was definitely humorous. Give it a go, read it! I dare you to read it and not laugh (in your head counts cos that's the way I laugh at books - and then that smirk creeps across my face). I got this book from the local library and fell in love with it. I am throughly enjoying it. I can relate to the characters. It's nice to read something written by a British author. I want to get the whole collection of Liz Rettig books.

I'm British and live in the United States and I'm a writer myself and it nice to read a book with the feeling I'm back in England. I would recommend these books to anyone I come in contact with.

It was interesing and captivating, however, it could be improved because some parts of the book were boring and the only reason that I kept reading it was because of the blurb which had gotten me to read it. All in all it was a good read.

I enjoyed this book although certain parts slightly irritated me. All in all it was a good book and I would recommend it for teenage girls looking for a giggle :)
I guess it's the weakest book by Rettig I've read yet, but I still had good laugh:)

My name is Liz Rettig and I am an author. Luckily I had an unhappy childhood, an angst ridden adolescence, and my adult years have been characterised by an almost unremitting catalogue of failures. The ideal background then to nurture an author's talent. I write funny romantic novels mainly for teens but loads of adults read them so they can look back and laugh (or cringe).
