This a totally fabulous collection of novellas by Hope Ford.
1st) Saint & Cat: He’s just gotten out of prison and she’s still traumatized from being beat almost to death by her ex-boyfriend.
2nd) Gage & Roxy: While he’s attracted to her he continues to deny his desire for her. And she knows a secret that she has no plan on telling him.
3rd) Bulldog & Kate: She’s a 9-5 older woman and he’s a young hot stud bouncer at the club’s bar, Ride or Die.
4th) Maddox & Emma: She’s the 18yo club Princess and he’s the 28yo MC member that’s secretly in love with her. What he doesn’t know is that she secretly loves him too.

Fun ~
I loved reading the Heartland series, and glad that I got this 4 book bundle. I’ve read and reread the 12 books in the series, and have already reviewed them. I hadn’t read Maddox before. M made an appearance in Jackal, and was very promiscuous, and was known to be. So it was quite a surprise that he fell for E. More surprising, was the way he hurt her, not once but twice. He didn’t deserve the chance she gave him, but that’s true love. Loved their epilogue.

WOW!! I couldn't put this one down. I absolutely love it!! This was a nice quick, short read.
Maddox has always loved Emma, but he thinks he can’t be with her. Emma is the step-daughter to Bulldog. Emma has her graduation party at Ride or Die, her and Maddox kiss, but he tells her he’s not interested in her. So Emma goes off to college. Three and a half years later, Emma is coming home on a break, she doesn’t come home very often because she doesn’t want to run into Maddox. The Heartland MC wants to throw a party for Emma, she’ll be graduating from college in a few months. Before Emma heads home she notices Carson plans changed so he’ll be spending time alone on break so she invites with to go home with her. Maddox finds out Emma’s is coming home but doesn’t want to go to her party until he finds out she invited someone to come home with her. Maddox makes sure to hug Emma at the party but she doesn’t want to hug him, he whispers in her ear welcome home and then kisses her ear. All night Emma notices Maddox watches her, so she head to the restroom and washes her face. When she comes out Maddox is waiting on her. Emma tries to take Carson home because he drank too much but her mom and Bull won’t have it. Maddox asks Emma to dance with him, she tells him no, and she can’t get out of it. She tells him she doesn’t want to dance with him, he needs to stop messing with her head. She tells him to take her home, he sees that she is upset so he does. He tells her he wants to talk, but she tells him they have nothing to talk about. Maddox get Emma home and she goes right to her room, so he tells Bull he needs to talk to him. Maddox tells Bull he’s in love with Emma and has been for the last four years. Bull makes Maddox promise him he won’t hurt her and that he waits until she graduates. He stays the night on the couch. Candace, Emma’s roommate calls her, and she invites her to come to her house also. Emma and Carson lounge around by the pool all day waiting for Candace to show up. Maddox shows back up and tries to talk to Emma, but she wants to avoid him. He finally gets her to open up a little talking about what she wants to do after she graduates. She also get him to open up about his parents and how he got involved with the Heartlands. Maddox ask Emma if she wants to go on a double date with Candace and Carson, with him also. They end up back at her parents home alone, Emma being to kiss Maddox and moves into his lap. She straddles him and tries to unbutton his jeans, but he stops her and tells her he can’t do this and leaves. Emma leaves the next morning and goes back to college, when Maddox shows up he get upset she left. Kate, Emma’s mom ask him how he feels about her daughter. When Maddox tells her she wants to know why Emma thinks he doesn’t like her. When Kate finds out Maddox is just respecting Bulls wishes, she tells Bull he needs to stop interfering with his daughter life. Maddox takes off when Kate tells him her daughter loves him and has for four years. Maddox gets a hotel room and send Emma a message he needs to see her. She decides to go see him to get a few things off her chest. When’s she steps into his room he tells her why he did what he did and tells her he loves her. She tells him she loves him too and has for a long time. Emma stand up and begins undressing, she tells him if he wants her to prove it. They both tell each other they want each other. Right after graduation Maddox and Emma get married, Bulls not happy but they waited until after graduation. Emma tells him she has one more surprise for him, she tells him he’s going to be a grandpa. Maddox comes to find out what is taking so long for Emma to walk down the aisle and finds out she told Bull they’re expecting. Bull leaves them alone for a few minutes, Maddox tells her he’s sorry her dad didn’t come, she tells him her dad just walked out of the room. Bull has been her dad since she met him, in every sense of the way. Emma says lets get married so they can go on their honeymoon.
